That night, Leon didn’t dream.

The next morning, he woke up feeling absolutely relaxed and blissful. He stared at the ceiling for a moment, then shifted his gaze to the woman in his arms.

It wasn’t Marie, and it wasn’t Gwen. It was the woman whom he loved.

’Ugh... this is my first time being in a relationship, but this feeling sure is nice.’

Shifting slightly, he leaned forward and planted a kiss on her forehead. Thyra’s brows furrowed, and after a few seconds, she opened her eyes.

Her eyes locked on him immediately, and she smiled. "Good morning, Leon~"

The young man smiled back and exhaled. "A good morning to you too. Did you rest well?"

She shook her head. "I should be asking you that. The number of times you came far surpassed all of mine. I thought you’d still be knocked out."

A flicker of pride crossed Leon’s expression, and he replied, "Well, my stamina is incredibly high, and I’ve got a trait that ensures I’m never completely spent."

Thyra’s eyes narrowed. "How many stamina points do you have now?"

Leon checked it before answering, "Three hundred and eighty-one."

"That much?" Despite expecting something similar, Thyra was still surprised.

"You’re very close to the peak of Tier Two while you’re just peak Tier One."

Leon smiled and turned his gaze back to the ceiling while shifting her body on him. He hugged her slim waist and asked, "What is the standard peak of Tier Two?"

Thyra rested her chin on his bare torso and answered, "Four hundred points. You see why I said you’re so close?"

Leon nodded. "Let’s bring all my stats to four hundred points, then."

"Wait, you still have free stat points?" She raised her head to look at him.

Leon nodded, then went ahead to raise his three major stats to four hundred points, leaving his free stat points at a mere twenty-seven.

He tightened his grip on her waist, then looked into her eyes with seriousness.

"I have a lot of pressing questions I hope you can answer," He said. "Can I ask?"

Thyra smiled knowingly and nodded. "Let’s start from the bluffing sage Ymir."

Leon blinked, surprised. "You know him?"

She nodded. "Well, it’s a bit of a coincidence, but he’s one of the people who has tried wooing me. Sigh... those old geezers won’t leave this young girl alone."

Leon’s eyes narrowed. "I know I probably don’t want to hear this but... how many men have confessed to you in the past?"

Thyra raised an eyebrow, then thought about it seriously. "I can’t exactly say, but over the course of my life, the number of suitors I’ve had should be able to fill your little planet. Though, their numbers have decreased now that I’m Tier Seven and a Demon General."

Leon’s eyes widened. "Fill the whole planet? You can’t be serious, right?"

Thyra gave him a dry stare.

"Don’t let your mind be conformed to this planet of yours. There are several other worlds out there." Her voice became smug. "I’m not exaggerating in the slightest, and it isn’t only men. I pull both genders."

Leon’s lips twitched, and he had nothing to say to that. ’I definitely don’t want to pull both genders. The opposite is enough.’

"Well, looks like someone is popular," He said with a thin smile, pretending to be jealous.

Thyra chuckled and cupped his cheeks. She leaned forward and kissed him deeply, then pulled away after a few seconds.

"Why do you sound grumpy? Shouldn’t you be proud? You succeeded where even Tier Eight demons failed."

Leon rolled his eyes. "Tier Eight? What’s Tier Eight? They’re nothing but small fries to this Daddy."

He quickly shook his head and went back to the actual discussion.

"So this Ymir guy, why do you say he’s bluffing?"

Smiling in amusement, she answered, "Ymir isn’t Tier Seven. He only recently advanced to Tier Six."

"Ah?" Leon gasped, surprised. So that guy had actually been lying?

"I thought Higher Entities were supposed to have their own pride and all! Tsk, tsk, tsk." He sneered in contempt.

Laughing lightly, Thyra shook her head. "Pride? Sure, we do. However, we’re also the most cunning beings in existence. The youngest Higher Entity I know is over a hundred years old. Do you really think they’d have no experience and be naive?"

"Well, I guess you’re right." Leon nodded slowly. "Then what about that absorption technique? He’s not lying too, right?"

Thyra nodded. "It’s actually a pretty common technique. You earthlings would have learned it after a few decades or through a Patron God. That reminds me!"

Her eyes lit up. "You made a good decision not letting him be your Patron God. Their Constellation is very strange and if they learn about your ability, expect to be thrown in a lab or a basement."

Leon shivered and gave a wry smile. "Of course not. I would only want to choose you as my Patron God or Goddess. Whatever the correct title is."

Thyra laughed. "Although I’m flattered, I won’t advise you to do that. You’ll be linked to the Demon Constellation and forced to join us once you ascend. And that... is not good at all. You know why."

Leon nodded despite his disappointment. "So I can’t join any constellation? I guess I’ll just make one myself, then."

Thyra stared at him, aghast. Then, she burst into laughter. "I can see that Gwen is already rubbing off on you. Since when did you get so ambitious?"

Leon smiled and slid his hand along her bare back, silencing her.

"I’m always ambitious." He grinned, then wiped it off as fast as it came. "About the absorption technique, can you teach me?"

Thyra hesitated, then explained. "I’m not sure if I can do that without being your Patron Goddess. But let’s try it out anyway."

"It won’t hurt you again, right?" His expression hardened.

Thyra shyly avoided his gaze. "Uh... I can’t say. But I know you need it for your army. Let’s just test it ou—"

"No." Leon cut her off, his tone firm. "The technique be damned, it can wait. I’m not endangering you again when you literally just got healed."

He hugged her tightly, pressing her head against his chest. Thyra smiled and didn’t resist. Strangely, her heart felt warm.

Just then, a sharp knock interrupted them, followed by Gwen’s voice.

"Leon? Are you up already?"
