"Be careful while traveling," Venisa said as she served breakfast to Evan.

"I will, Grandma," Evan nodded as he thought about his upcoming journey.

This was the first time he would be traveling such a long distance on his own, so he felt a little nervous.

However, more than anything else, he was excited.

He had been staying with his grandparents since childhood and hadn’t traveled to many places, so he was really excited about finally being able to go out.

Once breakfast was over, Evan and Lia prepared to leave.

Sky Pearl City wasn’t located in the opposite direction of the World Capital, so traveling there wouldn’t cause him to make a large detour.

"Did you pack everything you need?" Venisa asked as she handed another Storage Ring to him.

Evan nodded and looked inside the Storage Ring Venisa had given him, only to see piles of potions.

There were healing potions similar to the ones she had fed him when he returned, as well as many other high-grade detoxification potions.

There were also many practical potions, such as Blood Burst, which could temporarily increase his strength after taking it.

All in all, she had handed him a pile of potions that would make even a Rank Two or Rank Three Evolver drool in envy.

Even Evan was shocked when he saw this.

"You already have a suitable weapon and armor on you, so this is the best thing I can think of giving you," Venisa said as she stroked his face.

She paused before her face turned serious.

"Also, make sure you always protect yourself first. If anyone has bad intentions toward you, it doesn’t matter who they are. Just do what you think is best."

Alfred nodded at Venisa’s words as he completely agreed with her.

"Don’t worry, Grandma. I will be careful," Evan nodded.

Venisa then looked at Lia and put a necklace around her neck.

"Lia, always wear this necklace. It will protect you from danger."

Lia touched the necklace and looked at it curiously.

It was a beautiful white necklace with a golden gem embedded at its center.

"Thank you, Grandma," She said with a smile and hugged her leg.

Venisa shook her head and patted her head. Although it had only been for a short time, she had really grown fond of this lively little girl.

While they were saying their goodbyes, Alfred handed a letter to Evan.

"Once you reach the Capital, head over to the location marked on the letter and hand it over to a person named Ray. He will arrange everything for you in the Capital."

Evan took the letter and asked curiously, "Is he your friend or something?"

Alfred rubbed his chin as he thought for a moment.

"I actually don’t remember clearly..." The old man said with a confused look. "I just know he is a trustworthy guy and will handle everything."

Venisa, who was standing at the side, lowered her head, and her mouth twitched slightly as she remembered the person he was talking about.

’That poor guy...’ She shook her head but didn’t say anything.

Evan was also speechless when he heard that Alfred didn’t even remember the identity of the other party.

But knowing his grandfather for a long time, he didn’t bother to ask further and put away the letter.

Once everything was done, he was ready to leave.

"You will come to meet me there, right?" Lia asked with slightly red eyes as she looked at Venisa and Alfred.

Venisa smiled and gently patted her head.

"Don’t worry. Sky Pearl City isn’t that far from here. We will come to visit you occasionally."

"And if you ever miss us too much, I can always kidnap you and bring you back here," Alfred said with a chuckle.

Lia couldn’t help but laugh when she heard Alfred.

After spending over three weeks with him, she had also understood that this old grandpa wasn’t a bad person, so she wasn’t afraid of him anymore.

"I know both of you don’t like to live in crowded places, but don’t forget to come visit me as well," Evan said as he waved to Venisa and Alfred.

Both of them smiled but didn’t say anything.

Seeing this, Evan shook his head and grabbed Lia’s hand.

"Let’s go."

"Goodbye, Grandma and Villain Grandpa."

Evan chuckled when he heard how she addressed Alfred, and soon, both of them disappeared.

Before leaving for Sky Pearl City, Evan came to the Rivo City Guard Office, as there was something he needed to do.

It only took him a few minutes to handle the matter in the Guard Office, and once everything was done, he left Rivo City.

’With my arrangements, it won’t be difficult to handle the matter after reaching Sky Pearl City...’

A cold gleam flashed in Evan’s eyes as he remembered what Lia had told him when he first met her in the Guard Office.

Coming out of Rivo City, Evan looked at Lia and smiled.

"Are you ready to fly for the first time?"

Lia nodded with an excited expression.

She had been looking forward to experiencing what it felt like to fly since the moment Evan told her he would take her flying.

Evan smiled when he saw her anticipation, and a pair of green wings appeared behind his back.

He lifted Lia in a princess carry and, without giving her any warning, flew into the sky.

"Whaooo!" Lia shouted excitedly as they soared through the air.

Seeing her reaction, a smile appeared on Evan’s face.

"It feels good to fly like this, right?"

Lia looked at Evan and nodded enthusiastically.

A cunning smile suddenly appeared on Evan’s face.

"Although it feels good to fly, don’t try to look toward the ground."

Lia was confused by Evan’s words and subconsciously looked down.

And the moment she looked down, she finally saw just how high they were flying, and her heart nearly jumped out of her chest.

"Ahhh!"

She couldn’t help but scream in fear and closed her eyes as they were at least three hundred meters above the ground, making everything below look tiny from such a height.

Evan couldn’t help but laugh when he saw her reaction, as he had already expected this.

But even after hearing Evan’s laughter, Lia refused to open her eyes.

Seeing this, Evan shook his head and slowly descended.

Soon, he was flying only around fifty meters above the ground.

"Don’t worry. You can open your eyes now. We aren’t that high anymore."

However, even after hearing him, Lia still refused to open her eyes.

Seeing this, Evan didn’t know what to do, as he had just wanted to tease her a little.

In fact, Alfred had also done the same thing to him when he was young, and that old man had even dropped him from thousands of meters high, giving him a skydiving experience without any safety equipments.

Evan thought for a moment before speaking in a low voice.

"If you don’t open your eyes, I’ll drop you from here."

As he spoke, Evan slightly loosened his grip on Lia.

The moment Lia felt herself starting to slip, her eyes immediately opened.

"Don’t drop me!"

Evan smiled when he saw her reaction.

"Now look around. We aren’t that high anymore."

Lia cautiously looked down once again and was relieved to see that they were no longer flying too high above the ground.

However, after that, she stopped talking to Evan. "You are a bad person..."

Evan’s smile stiffened slightly, and he spoke in a helpless voice.

"Alright, sorry. It was my fault. I’ll cook a good meal for you as an apology."

Lia snorted, but the temptation of a good meal finally made her happy.

After a few minutes, she finally spoke to him.

"How long will it take us to reach Sky Pearl City?"

"Around two days..." Evan continued flying as he explained their route. "We are currently heading to Red Cape Town. We will stay there tonight."

Soon, two hours passed as they continued to chat, and Evan finally stopped to rest.

Even though Wings of Wind didn’t consume Mana, using the Skill for a long period still consumed a considerable amount of Stamina.

They ate something and rested for an hour before continuing their journey.

However, this time, instead of immediately flying again, they began walking toward Red Cape Town, looking at the scenery around them.

Even though there were some Magic Beasts in the wilderness, they were of no threat to Evan, and he dealt with them easily.

After walking for around an hour, Evan used Wings of Wind once again.

Around five in the evening, as they continued to fly forward, the outline of Red Cape Town finally came into their view.

Seeing the town, Evan increased his speed, and around five minutes later, they landed before the first stop of their journey toward Sky Pearl City.
