Sidney stood beside the dining table while Amon finished plating the food.

He had prepared a simple but filling meal consisting of grilled chicken covered in a light sauce, fried vegetables, and a bowl of warm rice.

As he served her, he noticed that Sidney’s face was still noticeably red.

Amon glanced at her for a moment, wondering what exactly was going through her mind, but he decided that it was probably better not to ask.

Amon placed the last piece of chicken onto her plate before sitting back down.

The two of them began eating in silence, with only the occasional sound of cutlery touching the plates filling the dining room.

"Sidney." She stopped as Amon looked at her calmly. "Are you forgetting something?"

Sidney’s shoulders stiffened. She slowly turned around and stared at him with obvious irritation.

Sidney gritted her teeth before turning around and walking toward her room.
