Li Jiwen had never expected that he would get swallowed into that place this way.
The instruction did not say anything about that.
But he now realized that he was in another space-time.
He looked around.
The entirety of the place was empty, totally empty.
There was nothing, only darkness and nothing more.
He finally looked around and decided that probably this was the way to see what exactly was happening, and how he could get the Changdu space to actually respond to him.
He could not feel his own existence at all.
Then slowly he closed his eyes and felt the existence around him rather than his own.
It was so different and so unimaginable to him.
He felt something.
It was a faint pulse.
The Changdu space was alive, barely!
Surprised for something this weird, Li Jiwen opened his eyes that were not even there, and he thought, ’That’s impossible. The Changdu space is a miniature universe that has its own consciousness! Hell, I did not expect that at all...’
Li Jiwen was quite astonished by the matter, and understood that the Changdu space was something so powerful and so much more powerful than his own and the powers that he might pose.
If he even thought about anything stupid or funny, he would get absolutely obliterated by it.
He knew that for a fact and not something that was up for speculation.
That was the most powerful power he had ever felt in his entire life.
But that did not change anything about the matter.
He was himself, and the Changdu space was something other than his own.
Although it had a consciousness, it was still miniature and faint and not even born until now.
He thought quickly, and with one movement he decided that he would not even let this miniature spirit consciousness of the Changdu space get out of its own bed and wake up.
He used the Heavenly Concealment Ring and began to slowly move through the darkness and quickly, and at the very same time, slowly, weirdly enough, into the place where he felt the pulse of the Changdu space.
It was so faint that it sometimes disappear.
He kept moving and moving.
He thought weirdly, ’Well, that’s weird. I feel I’ve been moving for years, and I still did not even move a second from my place...’
’This place is truly weird. I can’t even fathom exactly how this place came to be or who made it. It is even more frightful to think that I had gotten this thing from literally an auction and not from something of great importance...’
’That only means something was wrong with this Changdu space, and not me.’
As he kept moving, time seemed as if it was not even there.
There was no actual consciousness of time or space.
He was just moving according to his own feelings and his own intuition and nothing else.
That was the point of it all, don’t you think?
He kept moving and moving.
If he ever actually moved...
’Amidst the journey of our lives’, he thought, ’we face many things.’
’What is time? What is space? What is any of the laws and concepts that we actually bind ourselves by, in the normal days and the normal worlds of humans as well?’
’What if everything had no meaning? And what if everything had its meaning?’
Amidst the darkness, he began to think.
His mind working at full capacity, like a calculator, and it was not an easy thing like a calculator. It was much faster than even a couple hundred quantum computers, and it was not even close.
Li Jiwen knew that if he kept thinking like that, he would go crazy in a couple of days probably.
He shook his head quickly and knew that probably he needed to get himself together and understand exactly what was happening to him right now and what he could actually do.
The point of no return in the Changdu space was loneliness and loneliness alone.
Although he had faced many lonely times long ago for years on end, he was still human at his very core. No one could still be alone unless they were a monster or a god.
Li Jiwen thought himself neither.
So he kept moving.
Time seemed like it ceased to exist.
Understanding existence and all of its own subtleties was so heartless and so stupid to him that he could not even fathom how exactly time made sense or even worked.
The thoughts began to dwindle within Li Jiwen’s mind, but they did not cease to come.
He was thinking with all his mind and all of his own understanding of the world of cultivation and the actual realms.
Other than that, whether it be his own world or another, Li Jiwen himself was a person of great mind and great wits.
To understand the world in its own was to understand himself and vice versa.
With that thought, he began to think about himself.
What had life been? What had he come against and survived? And would he continue to survive?
He thought to himself, ’I’ve been everything that can be thought of as a person.’
’I’ve been an actual orphan. I’ve been homeless for years...’
’I just began to get my life together a couple of years before transmigrating.’
’Writing itself had been my outlet. But now, what can I do? I’m in a cultivation world, stuck here for God knows how much time and how many years to come. Even if I try and try, there is not a chance that the heavenly path and the heavenly Dao would let me go.’
’And that system is even weirder. I’ve never thought about it before. But what if there are other cultivators that are transmigrators of other worlds? Cultivators that have already transmigrated from Earth?’
’The mere thought of that actually frightens me. The mere thought that another person knows about my world and my own knowledge about that world.’
He began to stress over the matter.
He understood that if there was a cultivator or a person other than him with the system, or let alone, a transmigrator as well, then that would mean much trouble that would be out of his own hand and controlling.
Suddenly, his mind shook to another thing.
What if he was not even transmigrated? What if he was just in a coma or hallucinating?
