There was a stronger pulse in this place, and he could feel it.
Li Jiwen could feel that the pulse of the space was getting much more powerful and much faster than he had expected.
He shook and snapped out of his own mind.
Everything that had already come through in this darkness had already come into his own mind, making him wiser because of time and even more insane.
Only a monster or a god can stand loneliness in the dark and silence of their own, and with their own mind for so long.
Let alone a lonely human that had not witnessed many things in the world of cultivation like Li Jiwen.
He was not yet to find the pulse of the journey at the moment, and he was actually getting closer and closer as he saw the darkness as if it was shrivelling away in fear.
As the pulse got more powerful, as if it was reaching its own point of collapse.
This was exactly why more cultivators were afraid of darkness and the actual feeling of smart and sentient objects and sentient items as well.
Now he understood that sentient items, whether it be the Changdu space or whatever it was, were things that must be feared.
He had already witnessed it first hand in this life and in this chance as well.
But he knew that he would make it out of this alive and use it absolutely as much as possible into his own life, because he would never make something or let something be lesser to him into favour of others and into the favour of any other existence.
This was Li Jiwen.
He felt himself much greater than before, whether it be because of his own life or because of his own time in this dark unfathomable place.
Li Jiwen would never expect himself to be so weak and fearful again, but this time it was wisdom that had made him that, not hatred.
He closed his eyes and began to move, following the pulse through the darkness.
As it began to struggle away one bit by bit, the light began to peek into the grand darkness and show inside the dark dimension of infinity.
With every step that Li Jiwen was taking, the shrinking of darkness became even greater, mightier, and much more visible.
Light began to pierce through the darkness.
Then, finally, he opened his eyes.
Then suddenly he felt it.
The pulse was in this place.
With the concealment on his existence and its own powers totally merged with his own, he finally smiled.
His hand that was not even into his own senses, but into his own intuition, moved with a quick motion of sword play, and he heard a loud screech as if a monster had been killed with an object that did not even kill it mercifully.
He looked around and slowly laughed.
He felt as if his consciousness was getting into the entirety of the Changdu space and controlling it entirely, it began to slowly merge with his own existence and not leaving even a single bit of its own outside his.
Time passed outside the Changdu space as autumn came after spring and spring came after autumn in a consecutive manner.
Finally, Li Jiwen appeared in his own lodging again.
The entirety of the place was almost destroyed, and only the shadow of space in the place remained.
He looked out at the sky through the opening in the very ceiling, and his eyes widened with shock.
He had never expected that he had only spent eight years in the Changdu space, and now there was only half a year left or even less until the heavenly calamity.
He could feel that the entire world was in its own ending terms.
Every creature and every existence bowed their heads to the heavenly path.
The Dao itself was raging.
The Dao and the heavenly path were raging to destroy all that is of deviance or action in enmity with its ways or its path.
Suddenly Li Jiwen knew that he must run.
They were here again.
Li Jiwen did not even hesitate and he used the void step and disappeared far, far away.
He knew that if he truly stayed in the same place, he would be killed and would be destroyed with a flick of a finger.
He had wasted this entire life, not truly, but he felt so.
He now could not go back or even stop getting in the way of the heavenly calamity.
Other than that, he would get destroyed by it, and he would not survive.
He did not care too much about other people now.
The loneliness and the actual talking with himself over the millions of years that he had spent in the Changdu space had changed his own mentality even more, making him unstable for the most part.
But that did not affect his own sanity of escaping danger when it came his way.
Finally, Li Jiwen disappeared and went far, far away into the very edge of the province, that was on the other side.
He had understood that probably the Changdu space that had already not moved in years had already captured the interest of the creatures or the people that he had called the Hunters of Fate.
He had already understood that they were after him and would not let him go even if they wanted.
He was in grave danger and he was being followed even after the escape.
What shall he do?
He felt it.
He thought about it, his own eyes widening at the very same time that his own body was feeling the danger, too much danger, and he did not even stop in the same place.
He moved through the void again and again into another continent entirely, but he still felt the same weird feeling.
Then finally he looked into the heavens and saw it...
