Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things
Chapter 379 - 203: Clearance RewardChapter 379: Chapter 203: Clearance Reward
"What are all these?" Pei Ze asked the Tower Spirit Commander directly.
The Tower Spirit Commander didn’t mince words, pointing at the incredibly beautiful crystal and explaining, "This is a High-level Soul Crystal that has been refined and purified. The raw materials were the souls of twenty-six thousand, eight hundred and thirty-one Tier 3 Celestial Realm creatures."
Pei Ze drew a sharp breath.
A Soul Crystal refined from over twenty thousand Tier 3 souls was more than enough to create a Tower Spirit construct.
And the resulting Tower Spirit construct’s computational power would be anything but low!
"This is ancient dragon blood, obtained from a red dragon," the Tower Spirit Commander said, pointing at the potion vial.
A dragon’s power increases with age, and an ancient dragon is generally between eight hundred and one thousand years old. A red dragon that had lived that long, even if it hadn’t reached the fifth tier, wouldn’t be far from it.
Pei Ze secretly understood. ’No wonder this potion makes my blood stir.’
Dragon blood was already a great tonic, to say nothing of blood from an ancient-level red dragon.
If he refined and neutralized this vial of dragon blood slightly, consuming it would definitely strengthen his constitution significantly. Breaking through to Tier Eight Legend would be no problem at all.
"This is a Thunder Rule Stele Fragment." The Tower Spirit Commander pointed at the last stone monument. "It contains a trace of the Power of Thunder Rules. If you can fully comprehend it, it will be of great benefit for elementalization."
’Elementalization?’
’That’s something for after I advance to Elemental Mage.’
But Pei Ze was still overjoyed.
Any one of these three items on its own was an undeniable treasure, let alone obtaining all three at once.
The reward for clearing the Tower of the Holy Ring was truly generous!
’The Red Dragon Blood can strengthen my constitution, shoring up my final weakness for igniting the Elemental Fire.’
’The Soul Crystal can be used to create a Tower Spirit construct, and the stele fragment can facilitate elementalization. These are all things I’ll need after I advance to Elemental Mage.’
’It seems the rewards for clearing the Tower of the Holy Ring are determined by the victor’s current condition and strength.’
Pei Ze thought of the scan from earlier and the Tower Spirit Commander’s mention of "Reward #18."
Evidently, the Tower of the Holy Ring had prepared many different combinations of rewards, and different victors would likely receive different prizes.
If his Spiritual Power hadn’t yet reached the crystallization limit, perhaps the reward would have included a treasure to increase Spiritual Power.
If he hadn’t yet mastered the Heart of Elements, perhaps the reward would have included a peculiar item like a lightning element affinity potion.
The chances of that were slim, though. After all, it was impossible for a winning Wizard to have not even reached their Spiritual Power’s crystallization limit or mastered the Heart of Elements.
Numerous thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant. Pei Ze suppressed his delight and stepped forward, carefully putting the three items away.
After doing all this, he wanted to chat a little with the Tower Spirit Commander and probe for some information about the Tower of the Holy Ring. But before he could speak, his vision was filled with a brilliant white light.
When his vision cleared, he was already back on the plain.
WHOOSH. Countless gazes instantly focused on him.
Awe, admiration, envy, jealousy... the list went on.
At that moment, Pei Ze was undoubtedly the center of everyone’s attention.
Many Wizards were eager to try and get closer to Pei Ze.
Befriending a genius Wizard with a limitless future had a hundred benefits and no drawbacks for them.
Unfortunately, before they could act, a flash of light emanated from Pei Ze, and he vanished from the spot in an instant.
Mo Weng and Gu Yi disappeared along with him.
The group of Elemental Mages was slightly taken aback, unsure whether to be annoyed or amused.
"That Mo Weng, he’s just too shrewd."
"Who told you to be so obvious? You made Mo Weng wary."
"Stop with the sarcastic remarks. You dare say you weren’t thinking of poaching him yourself?"
Listening to the few Elemental Mages converse as if no one else was around, the nearby Chosen Ones looked at each other, filled with emotion.
Only Pei Ze could make a group of Elemental Mages all think of recruiting him.
...
「Inside the Wizard Tower.」
Back in the living room, Mo Weng turned to look at Pei Ze, a gratified smile on his face.
"Well done!"
The two simple words clearly conveyed Mo Weng’s immense joy at that moment.
Gu Yi was also grinning from ear to ear as he clapped Pei Ze firmly on the shoulder.
"You’ve performed a great service this time!"
Winning the Tower of the Holy Ring meant that for the next twenty years, the Star Realm Alliance would favor Chenxi City in its resource allocation, which was enough to greatly increase Chenxi City’s power.
If nothing else, in twenty years, it would be no problem for Chenxi City to suppress Red Lotus City.
"When we get back, I’ll request a commendation for you from the Council," Mo Weng said with a smile.
Gu Yi chuckled and said, "Your contribution this time was too great. The Council will definitely not be stingy with their rewards."
Speaking of which, Pei Ze’s spirits lifted. He asked, "What kinds of rewards have there been in the past?"
Hearing this, Mo Weng and Gu Yi looked at each other and both shook their heads with a laugh.
Gu Yi said with a smile, "The Battle of the Holy Ring has been held over two hundred times now, but unfortunately, we’ve never once taken first place."
Pei Ze was stunned for a moment, but then he thought about the situation with Chenxi City’s few Rule Wizards and felt a sense of understanding.
’Right. The lifespan of a Rule Wizard is measured in epochs.’
’Those few Rule Wizards on the Council have probably been alive since the founding of Chenxi City.’
’So it’s not surprising that Chenxi City has always had very few Chosen Ones, and has lagged behind other Wizard Cities in the Battle of the Holy Ring.’
Mo Weng mused, "If possible, I suggest you wait until after you’ve advanced to Elemental Mage before applying to the Council for a reward based on your needs."
Pei Ze’s heart stirred, and he nodded slightly.
’Indeed. Most of the preparations for igniting the Elemental Fire are already complete. As for my only weakness, my constitution, I have the Red Dragon Blood to speed up the process.’
’As for Wuyu’s evolution, collecting all the crow-type Magical Creatures is just a matter of time.’
’There’s no need to waste this hard-won reward on something that can be solved with money.’
’On the other hand, after advancing to Elemental Mage, I’ll need a vast amount of resources, whether for continuing to increase my power or for preparing to build my own Wizard Tower.’
’That would be the right time to use the reward credit from the Council.’
Pei Ze quickly made up his mind and nodded. "I’ll do as you say, Teacher."
Mo Weng nodded in gratification. "You must be tired after so many consecutive battles. We still have some time before we get back to Chenxi City, so go get some rest."
Pei Ze readily agreed. He found a room in the Wizard Tower, sat down, and took out the Red Dragon Blood.
As soon as the potion vial was in his hand, he immediately felt the blood in his entire body begin to stir.
Pei Ze took a deep breath, calmed the stirring within him, and took out his alchemy tools and materials. After a simple refinement process, he created a new potion and then tilted his head back and downed it.
As the crimson liquid entered his stomach, an extreme, searing heat instantly swept through his entire body.
Even with Pei Ze’s current constitutional strength, he had the illusion of being immersed in lava, his body being scorched inside and out by fierce flames.
A fine layer of sweat instantly beaded on his forehead. Pei Ze gritted his teeth and endured for two or three minutes before the unbearable burning sensation slowly faded.
What followed was a sense of lightness, as if he had been freed from heavy shackles.
Pei Ze summoned his Eye of Omniscience and was thrilled to discover that his constitution had soared by over a hundred energy levels, rocketing up to 993!
He was just shy of breaking the one-thousand mark!
Pei Ze was ecstatic.
This level of constitutional strength had undoubtedly reached the standard of a Tier Eight Legend, and he was only a step away from Tier Nine Legend.
He estimated that with a few days of cultivation, his All-Knowing Breathing Technique would break through to the eleventh layer and approach the twelfth.
Pei Ze calculated that if he took a few more constitution-enhancing potions or peculiar items to raise his constitution above one thousand energy levels, he should be able to break through to Tier Nine Legend.
At that point, his final weakness would be shored up, and he could begin to ignite the Elemental Fire!
With his advancement to Elemental Mage on the horizon, Pei Ze’s heart surged with emotion.
After a good while, he calmed the surging feelings in his heart and glanced at his task list.
The knowledge of the Plane Teleportation Array had already been improved, and the corresponding information had long been transmitted into his mind.
As long as Pei Ze wanted to, he could traverse planes at any time.
’I wonder how Tining is doing.’ Pei Ze suddenly thought of the Half Deer Maiden.
Although Tining had followed his advice and migrated her tribe to escape the alien insects’ invasion, the Alien Insect Army was formidable, and Tining and her tribe might not have been able to escape completely.
’I should contact Tining when I get back.’
