There were two messages from Bella.

(Still sleeping? Where did you go last night? Why did Paul say you came back so late?)

(Looks like you were sleeping really well. I left some food outside your guard post.)

After reading them, Enzo scratched his hair.

He sat up but made no effort to stand.

Leaning against the wall behind his bed, he lit a cigarette with a cool orange flavor.

Only one thought occupied his mind—

Reaching Level 20 today.

He wondered how many monsters Violet would have to kill to make that happen.

It certainly wouldn’t be easy.

’Maybe I should send Violet across the river,’ he thought.

That area wasn’t recommended for anyone below Level 20.

But those were only general guidelines.

Violet didn’t have to follow them.

’Maybe today’s full of incredible luck too.’

He chuckled softly.

Despite his determination, he ended up playing games on his phone first, simply because he felt too lazy to even get up.

Nearly an hour passed.

He finished several cigarettes before finally heading toward the bathroom.

He took a long shower to freshen himself up before changing into casual clothes—a pair of short jeans and a plain black T-shirt.

He left his messy black hair as it was. Feeling a little hungry, he opened the door to check for food. Sure enough, there was a plastic bag that was obviously from Bella.

There was nothing else. Emma had probably taken everything else away.

After picking up the bag, he quietly closed the door again before anyone noticed.

He began eating while observing the newcomers.

Waylon, George, and Nicolas. Every one of his enemies had returned to leveling.

They all looked determined, as if they were trying to wash away a certain humiliation.

Seeing them only made Enzo want to beat them up again.

The grudge hadn’t disappeared. How could it fade so easily after all the humiliation he had suffered?

Whoosh!

Violet appeared before him and immediately entered Invisible Mode.

Enzo even transferred two-thirds of his Intelligence to Violet. That way, she could maintain Invisible Mode for quite a long time.

As long as she didn’t make any drastic movements, Invisible Mode actually consumed relatively little Mana.

Quietly opening the door just enough, Violet slipped out of the guard post without anyone noticing.

She walked right past the resting newcomers, yet not a single one realized she had passed by.

In no time, she arrived outside the Monster Prison.

Enzo couldn’t help showing a surprised expression.

Right beside the Monster Prison, he saw Augus talking with Wyatt, a man in his thirties wearing sunglasses—a member of Night Valley and the owner of a casino in Z City.

He had no idea what they were discussing.

One thing was certain: Enzo realized they were working together.

He couldn’t send Violet any closer to eavesdrop. Wyatt wasn’t worth mentioning, but Augus was still an Awakener with an S-Class Talent.

Violet continued toward the Sanctuary gate, and Enzo was surprised once again.

A huge crowd had gathered behind the gate.

There had to be more than fifty people.

Since arriving at the Sanctuary, he had never seen so many Awakeners gathered in one place.

"What’s going on?"

Violet couldn’t ask while in Invisible Mode, but a newcomer who had just arrived did.

"We’re waiting for Rebecca Morgan."

"Rebecca Morgan? Why are we waiting for her?" the newcomer asked in surprise.

"She’s going to destroy the Ant Mountain gate."

"Oh? Really? Can she do it? Last I heard, she failed."

"According to the rumors, she just leveled up and obtained something that greatly increased the power of her punches. According to the Association’s announcement, once the gate is destroyed, only Awakeners Level 20 and below will be allowed inside. Anyone above Level 20 won’t be permitted."

"Seriously? Haha, I hope she succeeds. Ant Mountain might be hiding several A-Class Talents."

"Without a doubt. It seems Rebecca wants to give people like us a chance."

This was Enzo’s first time hearing about Ant Mountain.

But the moment he heard about A-Class Talents, he was immediately interested.

After all, those were among the rarest treasures.

Even the Awakener Shop didn’t sell them.

When he checked the map, he indeed found a mountain marked with the symbol of an ant.

It was located below the river line.

Not knowing when Rebecca would arrive, Enzo decided to have Violet head toward the mountain first.

He was fairly certain it was the place everyone was talking about.

Once they were far enough from the Sanctuary gate, Violet finally revealed herself.

If Rebecca didn’t arrive within the next hour or so, Violet would simply waste all her Mana and Stamina waiting.

Ant Mountain lay in the opposite direction from the red circle they had visited before.

The route was surprisingly easy—a beautiful open valley divided by several small streams.

Enzo didn’t see many monsters along the way. They were scattered far apart, and most of them were only small monsters.

They weren’t worth Violet’s time. She continued moving forward.

Not long afterward, a mountain came into view. It wasn’t quite large enough to be called a true mountain. Although tall, it wasn’t particularly massive.

What caught his attention was the countless openings covering its surface, each sealed by enormous boulders tightly wrapped by thick roots growing from their sides.

One of the openings was truly gigantic, nearly twenty meters tall, blocked by an enormous spherical stone.

That was probably the "gate" everyone had been talking about.

No matter which stone it was, Rebecca apparently hadn’t been able to destroy even one of them.

That was honestly hard to believe.

Violet stood there and waited.

No one had arrived yet, and with so few monsters around, Enzo lit another cigarette.

He couldn’t help wishing he had a cup of coffee to go with it.

Waiting... and waiting...

An hour and a half passed, yet no one had arrived.

Enzo was starting to get irritated. He even wondered if he had sent Violet to the wrong location.

Just as he was about to leave and check the Sanctuary Gate himself, two familiar figures with white hair suddenly appeared on the screen.

Bryan and Charlotte.

Both of them were wearing the same silver armor as yesterday.
