Violet entered a forest on her way to that location.
It was the fastest route.
The trees in this forest were quite tall, but interestingly, there was a road running through it that was about four meters wide.
It was nothing more than a completely open dirt road. There were no branches or fallen pieces of wood blocking the way.
Calling it a well-maintained road wouldn’t be an exaggeration at all.
Strangely enough, the forest also appeared to be safe.
Even with Violet’s screen covering a large area, Enzo couldn’t see any signs of movement.
That was surprising.
The forest wasn’t marked with anything special on the map.
Of course, he considered the possibility that the monsters simply weren’t moving. Given how dense the forest was, if the monsters remained still, they would be very well hidden.
Violet continued walking.
Enzo was actually hoping some powerful monster would appear so Violet could kill it.
Unfortunately, there was nothing.
The farther she went, the more suspicious he became.
The entire Moba World was supposed to be filled with monsters. The absence of monsters wasn’t merely strange.
It was unreasonable.
"Damn, what the hell is going on?"
Through Violet’s eyes as she continued looking left and right, he suddenly spotted a man and a woman in the forest.
They were still fully dressed, except that their pants were slightly lowered. The man was embracing the woman from behind while continuously thrusting against her.
The woman wasn’t screaming. She simply appeared to be enjoying herself.
They were clearly young, only about a year older than Enzo—in other words, around Augus’s age.
They were so focused on the sensations they were experiencing that they hadn’t noticed someone passing by.
They were actually doing this inside the Moba World.
This wasn’t some tourist attraction.
Could they really not hold themselves back anymore? Or did they simply enjoy the thrill of doing it out in the wild?
Violet walked toward them and didn’t forget to release her insect drones to record this interesting moment.
Since there were people here, she could ask them for information.
Even though she was walking normally, her footsteps cracking the dry leaves beneath her, the couple still didn’t notice her until she was only two meters away.
"Eh..."
They instinctively froze and stared at Violet.
"Ahhh!"
A moment later, the two screamed and jumped apart.
Fortunately, they were Awakeners. As they jumped, they managed to pull their pants back up.
"I didn’t mean to interrupt your fun. You can continue afterward, but first, tell me why there aren’t any monsters in this forest."
Violet spoke indifferently while looking at the two of them.
Both of them were actually quite attractive.
The man had dark blond hair and a handsome, energetic face, while the woman had black hair and a beautiful face that gave off an educated and refined impression.
What Enzo couldn’t determine was whether they were weak or strong.
They hadn’t been at Ant Mountain, so they probably weren’t below Level 20.
Of course, even if they were above Level 20, he was fairly certain they weren’t strong enough to threaten Violet.
As far as he was concerned, the only person who truly posed a threat was Augus, who possessed an S-Class Talent.
"Who are you?" the man asked after recovering from his shock.
"William, she’s Violet Muller, the new S-Class Talent."
Apparently, the woman recognized Violet.
"Her?"
William was stunned, but his expression quickly turned angry.
"Can’t you see this is private property? How dare you trespass? We can sue you."
"Private property?"
Violet raised an eyebrow.
How could there be such a thing in the Moba World?
Was there some sign at the entrance that she had missed?
Enzo wondered how he should respond.
Asking further questions might only provoke the man even more.
"Muller, this really is private property. Someone can claim land as long as they’re capable of clearing all the monsters from it," the woman explained.
"How can there be private property here?" Violet asked the woman, who seemed much easier to talk to.
"Why? Did you think there wasn’t private property here? Wherever there is land, there is private property," William replied.
"You’d better leave immediately unless you really want to be sued for trespassing on someone else’s property without permission."
Judging from his expression, he clearly had no intention of explaining anything else.
"I want to reach the river at the end of this forest. Since I’m already here, I’ll just continue."
"You’ve got some nerve. That’s private property too. From this forest to that river, including the forest on the other side, all of it is private property. The boundaries are the edges of each forest."
Violet: "..."
Enzo: "..."
"Tell me whose private property this is."
As she asked that, her three insect drones quickly flew over and landed on her palm.
They were tiny, but once they landed on Violet’s hand, the two could at least see them.
"You?"
William and the woman, Eliza, widened their eyes simultaneously.
BANG!
Suddenly, a red aura, flames, and lightning erupted from the man as a spear appeared in his hand, radiating fire and lightning.
"Hand those over!"
He shouted as he immediately thrust the tip of his spear toward Violet’s hand.
But Violet stepped backward so quickly that she disappeared.
BOOM!
His attack exploded into an enormous mass of fire and lightning.
Violet had to retreat even farther.
Fortunately, her Agility was already far above her level, so avoiding the attack wasn’t difficult.
Enzo could only be surprised by the man’s strength.
When the explosion dissipated, he saw a massive crater with William standing at its center.
Eliza remained unharmed because she had created a thick glass wall around herself.
"Where are you?!"
The woman shouted as well.
Panic was clearly visible in her eyes.
William spun around, looking in every direction.
BANG! BANG!
He fired balls of fire and lightning everywhere.
That reaction only demonstrated that he couldn’t track Violet.
"Behave yourself if you don’t want the entire world to see the video of the two of you!"
Violet’s voice echoed through the forest.
William’s face turned red upon hearing that.
Eliza, on the other hand, went pale.
"How dare you?"
William gritted his teeth.
"Muller, let’s talk."
Eliza’s attitude was completely different.
"What are you saying?" William asked her.
"William, are you crazy? I don’t want that video spreading!"
Eliza couldn’t help but become angry.
The truth was that William simply couldn’t control his emotions.
Of course, he knew that if the video spread, he wouldn’t merely be embarrassed.
He would be in serious trouble.
His father might beat him until he was crippled—or even kill him—to cover up the disgrace.
"Muller, tell us what you want."
Eliza spoke again when William no longer said anything.
"What do I want?"
Violet’s voice echoed once more.
William tried to locate the source of the voice.
His expression became extremely serious.
Yet he soon realized that the voice seemed to be coming from everywhere.
It was simply an effect of her S-Class Assassin Talent.
Whether it was her voice or her movements, it was extremely difficult to determine where they originated from.
"Tell me who owns this forest and what its secret is," Violet asked.
"This belongs to William’s father, Paul Walton. He represents the Grimoire Alliance."
Eliza immediately answered.
She was clearly too afraid to disobey.
Enzo was surprised when he heard William’s identity.
But the Grimoire Alliance was something he had never heard of before.
Was it another organization?
"So, what’s the secret here?" Violet asked again when Eliza stopped explaining.
"The river you’re heading toward contains an Ancient Tomb."
The woman sounded reluctant as she said it.
An Ancient Tomb?
That was also something Enzo had never heard of.
Of course, this was important information.
As for whatever factions existed on Earth, they weren’t important to him at all.
If he had enough strength, he could simply ignore them, just as his father had done in the past.
"What’s inside the tomb?" Violet continued asking.
"No one knows for certain. No one has been able to enter it yet."
"That’s Grimoire Alliance territory. You’d better not act recklessly. Just so you know, there’s no one stronger than the Grimoire Alliance on the American Continent," William spoke again.
"Hmph... It’s not your place to warn me. But you should know this: if I get into trouble, that video will definitely be released."
Violet replied indifferently.
William glared again upon hearing that.
But he had no idea where Violet was, so he could only glare around like a blind man.
And in reality, Violet had already left.
"Has she left?"
Eliza spoke after some time.
She looked at William, who seemed unable to think of anything to say.
"William, I asked you to bring me here so I could see the tomb and fight some monsters there. But what did you do?"
William immediately became stunned when she blamed him.
Was this really his fault?
Of course, it was.
However, it wasn’t as though he could force Eliza.
The truth was that the two of them were equally strong.
Even Eliza’s background was extraordinary.
The reason things had happened between them was because Eliza hadn’t refused.
If she had genuinely refused, even dating her would have been impossible.
Realizing that he would only receive more blame if he answered, William simply chose to remain silent.
