New York City.

Interestingly, the portal to the Sanctuary here was located on one of Manhattan’s long bridges.

The bridge had been closed off, with no other choice but to build a new bridge right beside it.

Violet appeared without bothering to hide herself anymore.

She overheard several people talking about Augus, who apparently still hadn’t returned since this afternoon.

As long as he was still in the Moba World, there would be no problem with Violet openly wandering around New York City.

The portal was located right in the middle of the bridge. It was already a relatively quiet hour. To make matters worse, there wasn’t a taxi in sight, only private cars.

Violet had no choice but to walk.

Suddenly, however, a car slowed down beside her.

"Miss Muller, do you need a ride?"

A man’s voice came from inside the car as the driver’s window rolled down, revealing the driver.

It was actually Luca Carter, the man who had pushed Violet into killing Augus’s Three-Headed Python.

Enzo smiled strangely.

Of course, he controlled Violet and had her get into the back seat of the car.

Since someone had offered her a ride, there was no need to waste time looking for a taxi.

"Take me to the rich people’s cemetery," Violet said in a commanding tone.

"The rich people’s cemetery? Why do you want to go to a rich people’s cemetery?" Luca was stunned.

Judging from Violet’s question, it certainly didn’t sound like she was going there to visit a family member. If that were the case, she could have simply named the cemetery.

A second after asking the question, Luca immediately realized his mistake.

But it was already too late.

Pa!

A small pillow from the back seat slammed into his face.

Violet said nothing afterward, merely resting her head against her hand as she leaned against the window.

Luca swallowed nervously.

Fortunately, she had only hit him with a pillow.

He immediately continued driving toward Manhattan.

Enzo didn’t know whether there really was a cemetery in that area, but as a New York resident, Luca couldn’t possibly take her to the wrong place.

He drove fairly quickly and eventually arrived in Manhattan.

Even through the screen, Enzo couldn’t help but admit how magnificent the city was.

He had never been here before.

Along the streets, countless women dressed provocatively could be seen, seemingly waiting for someone.

But aside from its grandeur, he also noticed that the city was somewhat chaotic, with homeless people, drunks, and drug addicts seemingly everywhere.

They traveled along the main road before heading north, toward the outskirts of the city.

The area gradually became quieter, but the journey there still took quite some time.

A cemetery soon came into Violet’s view.

It was enormous, covered in lush green grass, surrounded by trees and a wire fence that appeared to be electrified.

"This is the only cemetery in Manhattan," Luca explained. "Only the super-rich can afford burial plots here. There are others elsewhere in New York, but they’re much farther away."

"This is enough," Violet said.

This cemetery was nearly three times larger than the cemetery for the wealthy in Z City.

And that was only in terms of its area.

There were also far more graves here, leaving very little empty space.

Luca froze when he heard Violet say that.

Why had she said it was enough?

"You wait here. I’ll still need a driver to take me back," Violet said before getting out of the car.

At the same time, she used Instant Death on Luca, making the attack strong enough to knock him unconscious without killing him.

With her higher level, her control had also improved.

Against targets who were far weaker than her, Violet could now decide whether they would merely pass out or die.

She disappeared and moved rapidly toward the trees.

Then, she transformed into a Demon Tree once again, her roots burrowing deep into the ground.

The amount of hundred-year-old wine she sensed beneath the cemetery was enormous once she became a Demon Tree.

She only needed six tons.

Yet there seemed to be more than thirty tons buried here.

Much of it had already merged with the soil along with the remains of those who had consumed it.

Violet focused on collecting the wine that had already mixed with the soil.

This saved space in her Storage Artifacts and also made it easier to extract, allowing her to complete her target much faster.

Of course, she also collected the jewelry buried underground.

Once she returned to her human form, she left and headed back toward Luca’s car.

Pa!

She slapped his shoulder, immediately waking him.

"What happened?" The man jolted awake in surprise.

"Go!"

Violet ordered him at once, snapping him back to reality.

"This..." After checking the time, he realized that he had been unconscious for quite a while.

His eyes scanned the cemetery.

Nothing seemed to have changed at all, so he began to doubt his suspicions.

But remembering his previous experience, he didn’t dare delay Violet’s command.

He started the car and turned around.

"Miss Muller, is there anywhere else you’d like to visit?" Luca asked.

"What is there to visit?" Violet asked in return, leaving Luca wanting to scratch his head.

"An Awakener store or perhaps a luxury shopping center?" Luca answered randomly.

"No..." Violet replied.

Luca had to think again.

"How about an entertainment venue? A first-class entertainment venue."

"Do I look like I need filthy mortal entertainment?" Violet replied coldly.

Enzo might not have minded something like that, but he wanted to preserve Violet’s reputation.

Realizing his mistake, Luca immediately shut his mouth.

He needed to think again.

"Stop!"

Suddenly, Violet ordered him to stop the car.

He instinctively hit the brakes and looked at Violet in confusion.

She was staring at a massive jewelry store.

It was one of the largest jewelry stores in New York.

It didn’t merely sell gold and silver jewelry, but also diamonds and various other rare gemstones.

But jewelry wasn’t all they sold.

They also sold rings, bracelets, and necklaces that were actually Storage Artifacts.

Unlike other artifacts, Storage Artifacts were relatively common on the market because Awakeners with the appropriate skills could manufacture them themselves.
