A massive, towering pillar of brilliant green light erupted from the cobblestone street. The pillar shot straight up into the dark sky. It pierced the black clouds perfectly. The light was so bright and so pure that the charging monsters instantly halted. The beasts closest to the light shrieked in pain and stumbled backward. They covered their glowing eyes. The pure magic burned their dark skin.

The entire army of one hundred thousand monsters stopped moving. The deafening roars turned into nervous, confused hisses. The sheer magical pressure radiating from the green pillar was absolutely overwhelming. It felt like a massive mountain had just been dropped directly onto the city.

Javier took a step back. His arrogant smile vanished. He stared at the pillar of light. He felt a sudden, intense chill run down his spine. The dark mana in his own veins trembled.

"What is this?" Javier whispered. His voice lost its confident edge. "What kind of summoning magic is this?"

The blinding green light slowly faded. It dissolved into soft, floating sparkles. The sparkles drifted to the ground and vanished.

A single figure stood in the exact center of the plaza.

It was Ken Eliot.

But he did not look like the lazy, messy slacker from the 13th Unit estate. His wrinkled navy blue suit was completely gone. His untucked white shirt had vanished.

He was fully equipped in his true, legendary form. He wore a high-collared, dramatic black cloak. The dark fabric was lined with intricate, elegant gold embroidery. The cloak flowed silently around his legs. A smooth, terrifying black mask covered his face entirely. A single, glowing purple eye shined brilliantly in the very center of the mask.

The Sovereign had arrived.

Ken did not slouch. He did not yawn. He did not complain about the weather. He stood perfectly tall. His posture was absolute, rigid, and incredibly imposing. The air around him dropped to a freezing temperature.

He did not radiate any warmth. He did not show an ounce of humor. All traces of the goofy, snack-loving boy were completely erased. He was utterly ruthless, cold, and clinical. He acted like a completely different person. He was a god of destruction walking among mortals.

Karna stepped back and immediately dropped to one knee. The spymaster bowed his head deeply. He placed his right hand over his heart in a gesture of absolute respect.

"My Lord," Karna greeted smoothly. "The enemy has summoned an army of one hundred thousand units. The scale is beyond efficient solo eradication."

Lancelot did not look at Karna. The glowing purple eye stared straight ahead.

"You made the correct decision," Lancelot replied. His voice was incredibly deep. It echoed across the silent plaza. It did not sound human. It sounded like an absolute law of nature. It lacked any emotion.

Javier stared at the masked figure. The dark mage felt his heart hammering against his ribs. He recognized the description. He had heard the terrifying rumors from his spies. This was the entity that had dismantled his operations in the capital. This was the monster that the corrupt politicians feared.

Javier tried to shake off his fear. He gritted his teeth. He puffed out his chest. He wanted to project dominance. He still had a massive army behind him.

"So, you are the famous Lancelot," Javier shouted. He forced a mocking laugh. He pointed a finger at the masked boy. "You look like a complete fool in that mask. You think you can intimidate me? I control one hundred thousand monsters! I control the Neitherworld Devil Seed! You are vastly outnumbered!"

Lancelot slowly turned his head. The glowing purple eye locked directly onto Javier.

The gaze was absolutely freezing. It was a look of pure, clinical judgment. It was the look a scientist gives a bug before squashing it. Lancelot did not offer a witty comeback. He did not make a sarcastic joke. He completely ignored Javier's arrogant boasting. He treated the dark mage like entirely irrelevant background noise.

Inside his mind, Ken evaluated the situation. He analyzed the massive mob of monsters covering the city.

"One hundred thousand enemies," Ken thought coldly to himself. His internal monologue was totally devoid of its usual lazy humor. He viewed the battlefield like a high-level tactical video game. "This is a massive guild raid event. The enemy is trying to crash the server with sheer volume. A single player cannot clear this mob efficiently. I need to deploy the full raid party. It is time to summon the commanders."

Lancelot raised his right hand. His black glove contrasted sharply with the golden embroidery on his sleeve.

He did not snap his fingers. He did not chant a spell. He simply opened his palm.

"Awaken," Lancelot commanded with absolute, chilling authority.

The ground across the entire plaza instantly turned pitch black. A massive, swirling pool of dark shadows expanded outward from Lancelot's boots. The shadows moved like thick, dark water. They covered the cobblestones completely. The temperature plummeted even further.

Seven distinct, towering pillars of dark energy erupted from the shadow pool. The pillars shot up into the sky. They pulsed with intense, terrifying magical power. Each pillar radiated a completely different elemental aura.

Javier took another step backward. His eyes widened in pure panic. The magical pressure in the plaza was totally suffocating. His army of monsters began to screech and hiss nervously. They could feel the overwhelming danger arriving.

The seven dark pillars shattered like broken glass. The energy faded away.

Seven elite warriors stepped out of the shadows. They stood in a perfect horizontal line behind Lancelot. They were the ultimate commanders of his personal shadow army.

On the far left stood Ryu. The massive dragon-man towered over everyone. He wore ancient, dark armor. Thick, jagged red dragon scales covered his huge muscular arms. His golden, reptilian eyes burned with pure, unfiltered rage. He cracked his knuckles. Small bursts of crimson fire popped from his fists. He was the ultimate physical powerhouse.

Next to Ryu stood Leviathan. The breathtakingly beautiful Demon Queen of the Serpents wore a sleek, flowing dark emerald dress. Her long green hair shimmered like an ocean wave. Her violet eyes looked incredibly sharp and deadly. A high-pressure whip of pure water coiled around her wrist like a living snake. She smiled a cruel, seductive smile.

Beside Leviathan stood Mirajane. She was a female magician with a truly wicked presence. She wore an elegant, dark purple gown. Her silver hair fell in soft waves. She held a long, twisting staff made of dark wood. A glowing orb of raw, chaotic magic floated at the tip of her staff. She looked completely ready to unleash massive destruction. She grinned a scary, confident grin.

Standing in the center was Merlin. He was a tall, incredibly disciplined male spearman. He wore lightweight, shining silver armor that offered maximum mobility. He held a long, perfectly balanced spear with a glowing blue tip. His eyes were cold and totally focused. He stood with absolute military posture. He looked like a flawless, legendary knight.
