Next to Merlin stood Joseph. He was a male earth magician. He was built like a solid brick wall. He wore heavy, rugged brown robes. His hands were covered in thick, rock-like gauntlets. He stomped his heavy boot on the ground. The cobblestones cracked under his immense weight. He looked incredibly tough and totally immovable.

Beside Joseph stood Samiha. She was a female warrior with a highly unique fighting style. She wore sleek, dark gray tactical gear. She held a very strange weapon. It was a spear, but the blade was twisted into a massive, sharp screw shape. The screw-spear spun rapidly in her hands with a loud, mechanical whining sound. She looked incredibly fast and totally lethal.

On the far right stood Erana. She was a fierce female swordswoman. She wore dark red armor. She carried a truly massive longsword. The sword was almost as tall as she was. The blade was incredibly wide and looked insanely heavy. She rested the giant weapon casually on her shoulder. She looked absolutely fearless and ready to cleave the enemy army in half.

The seven elite commanders stood perfectly still. They radiated an aura of absolute dominance. They looked exactly like the ultimate boss squad from a high-fantasy anime. They were Lancelot's most trusted, most destructive weapons.

Karna stood up from his knee. He walked over and took his place in the line. The spymaster made it a total of eight legendary warriors standing behind the Sovereign.

The one hundred thousand Black Spirits, trolls, and gargoyles completely stopped hissing. The massive dark army stood in total silence. They were mindless beasts, but even they understood the sheer, overwhelming power standing in front of them.

Javier stared at the eight warriors. His jaw literally dropped open. His hands started to shake. He had summoned an entire army, but he suddenly felt entirely outmatched. The sheer quality of the magic radiating from Lancelot's team was impossible to calculate.

Lancelot stood at the very front of his elite army. He did not slouch. He did not make a joke. The glowing purple eye on his mask burned with an intense, freezing light. He stared directly at Javier.

The playful, lazy boy was totally gone. The ruthless, cold, and clinical Sovereign had taken the stage. Lancelot raised his hand and pointed it directly at the massive ocean of dark monsters. He delivered his final, absolute command.

"Eradicate them," Lancelot ordered quietly. "Leave nothing behind."

The chapter of peaceful rest was over. The ultimate, catastrophic war for the Bluemoon Kingdom had officially begun.

---

"Eradicate them," Lancelot ordered quietly. "Leave nothing behind."

The eight commanders heard the command. They did not hesitate. They moved as one single unit. They stepped forward into the massive ocean of dark monsters.

Javier stood in the plaza. He watched the eight figures approach. He controlled one hundred thousand monsters. He thought he possessed the ultimate advantage. He believed numbers would win the battle. He was totally wrong.

Ken stood in the back of the group. He crossed his arms over his chest. He let out a loud, lazy yawn. His dark mask covered his face. His glowing purple eye looked totally intimidating. But inside his mind, Ken felt completely relaxed.

"This is exactly like a mobile gacha game," Ken thought to himself casually. He watched his team move. "I pulled all the absolute best SSR units. I put them on the map. Now I just turn on the auto-battle mode. I can sit back and let them farm the experience points. I love games that play themselves. It requires zero cardio."

Erana stepped forward first. The fierce swordswoman smiled a wild, excited smile. She carried a massive longsword. The blade was almost as tall as her own body. She rested the giant weapon on her shoulder.

"I get the first strike!" Erana cheered loudly.

She swung the giant sword. She did not look graceful. She looked like a complete berserker. The blade sliced through the air. She used a classic anime-style power boost. Her sword glowing brightly with red energy. A massive wave of red light shot from the weapon. The energy wave hit the front line of the Black Spirits. Hundreds of monsters turned into gray ash instantly.

"Wow," Ken thought lazily. "That is a very large sword. She swings it so easily. She definitely maxed out her strength stat. It reminds me of that one anime guy with the giant iron slab. She just needs a dark armor suit to complete the look."

Samiha ran past Erana. Samiha wore sleek gray combat gear. She held her strange screw-spear. The metal spiral started to spin. It spun faster and faster. It made a loud, mechanical drilling noise.

"My drill will pierce the heavens!" Samiha shouted happily.

Ken almost laughed out loud. "She actually said the line. That is a top-tier anime reference. I give her ten out of ten points for absolute style. She understands the assignment perfectly."

Samiha dashed into the dark crowd. She thrust her spinning spear forward. A localized tornado formed around the weapon. She drilled a massive hole straight through the enemy army. The monsters could not block it at all. Their dark shields shattered like fragile glass. The spinning weapon tossed them high into the sky.

Javier gritted his teeth. His pale hands shook with anger. He pointed his finger at the commanders. "Kill them! Overwhelm them with absolute numbers! Do not let them breathe!"

The monsters swarmed forward. They looked like a huge black tidal wave. They wanted to drown the warriors.

Joseph stepped up. The earth magician planted his boots on the cobblestones. He wore rugged brown robes. He slammed his rock-covered gauntlets together.

"You are not going anywhere," Joseph stated. His voice was deep and solid.

He punched the ground. He created his own special territory. It looked exactly like a popular anime domain expansion. The street violently cracked open. Giant stone pillars shot up from the dirt. The pillars slammed into the monsters. The stone crushed the Black Spirits instantly. Joseph moved his hands in smooth, circular motions. He controlled the earth effortlessly.

"Classic earthbending," Ken analyzed casually in his mind. "Very practical. It blocks their path and deals massive area damage. Joseph is a very solid defensive tank unit. He keeps the enemy far away from my clean shoes. I appreciate his work."

Merlin walked calmly beside Joseph. The spearman wore shining silver armor. He held his glowing blue spear. He did not yell. He looked incredibly disciplined. He thrust his spear forward. He did not hit the monsters physically.

Bright blue laser beams shot from the spear tip. He summoned dozens of glowing weapons in the air. It looked just like a famous unlimited blade attack from a popular show. The blue lasers zig-zagged through the dark army. They pierced ten monsters at a time. Merlin moved his spear with mathematical precision. Every single strike was totally flawless.

Mirajane floated gracefully into the air. The female magician wore an elegant dark purple gown. She waved her dark wooden staff. She smiled a wicked, confident grin.
