"It splits outside the city."

The route divided into three branches.

One went north, another west, while the final branch disappeared into a mountainous region southwest of City S.

If the intelligent zombies separated after leaving the city, following them would be more difficult.

Chu Miao turned to the other maps.

One showed the entire province.

Another covered several neighboring provinces.

The final map was of the whole country.

That map contained more markings than all the others combined.

Some cities were marked with black circles like City S.

Several had two or three circles around them, while others had strange symbols beside their names.

Red dots represented human bases.

City A had been marked clearly.

So had the Capital Base and several military bases they had communicated with in the past.

Chu Miao’s expression changed when she noticed one location.

The mountain range containing their sect had not been marked precisely, but a large red circle covered the surrounding area.

"They know the sect is somewhere here," she said.

Ye Xuan’s gaze became cold.

Their sect was protected by arrays and hidden from ordinary sight. Even if zombies wandered near the mountains, they should not be able to determine the sect’s location.
