Inside a dark corner of Rendell City, the two-horned demon watched the battlefield from a distance.

His eyebrows rose slightly as he witnessed the abilities displayed by the members of the Freedom Convoy.

"Who are these people?"

"Has the Rizen Group already arrived?"

One of his subordinates stepped forward without hesitation.

"Master, these are the humans I told you about."

"The ones capable of using Zen techniques."

The two-horned demon narrowed his eyes.

Before he could say anything else, the enormous eyeball alien floating nearby spoke.

"I previously extracted information from several humans we captured."

"Apparently, they belong to another organization known as the Freedom Convoy."

"They are a small group..."

"But they are quite formidable."

The two-horned demon’s expression shifted back to cold indifference.

"If they aren’t the Rizen Group, then they aren’t worth using our trump cards against."

He paused.

"However..."

"They could still become an obstacle to our final plan."

His golden eyes shifted toward one of his subordinates.

"Ars."

The two horned demon who had previously injured Leo stepped forward .

"Master."

"Go and deal with them."

"I don’t want any unexpected variables appearing at the final moment."

Ars bowed.

"Understood."

He turned around and walked away.

The two-horned demon then looked toward the enormous eyeball alien.

"Send out all the big ones as well."

The corner of his mouth curled upward.

"It’s time for this farce to end."

The eyeball alien slowly nodded.

Meanwhile, several kilometers outside Rendell City...

The morning sun had already risen. Yet the scene surrounding the city looked nothing like morning.

Dark clouds covered the entire sky. Lightning flashed through the gloom as thunder rumbled across the wasteland.

A massive convoy hurtled toward the city.

Inside the fortress-like lead vehicle, three men stood before a large window.

The golden-haired captain.

The green-haired boy.

And the man with the metallic arm.

All three stared out at Rendell City.

The green-haired boy frowned.

"Captain..."

"Things seem to have gotten serious."

"Don’t you think we should hurry?"

The golden-haired man nodded.

"Yes."

"If the military suffers too many casualties, our plan could backfire."

He glanced at the two men.

"Both of you go ahead."

"If the situation becomes too serious, handle it."

"I’ll follow shortly."

The green-haired boy grinned.

"Understood."

The metallic-armed man nodded as well.

The two turned and left the room.

A few moments later, one of the vehicles separated from the convoy. Its engine roared, tearing across the wasteland toward Rendell City.

Back on the battlefield...

The combined attacks of Adrian, Bear, and Rex had torn a massive hole through the zombie horde.

For the first time, the military had managed to create a significant gap in the siege.

But the zombies kept coming.

The empty space filled up in mere seconds.

Soldiers carrying heavy shields advanced through the opening. Behind them, troops armed with rifles and spears followed close behind.

Military vehicles equipped with rocket launchers and mounted machine guns rolled forward, unleashing relentless fire into the horde.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Rockets tore through the undead.

RATATATATA!

Machine-gun fire swept across the battlefield.

For a brief moment, the military seemed to be gaining the upper hand.

Then—

BOOM.

The ground trembled. Everyone froze in place.

BOOM.

Another heavy vibration traveled through the battlefield. The soldiers slowly turned toward the center of Rendell City.

BOOM.

A deafening roar echoed through the air.

From the darkness emerged a massive army of Brutes. Their enormous bodies moved like walking mountains.

Behind them came three gigantic two-headed wolves.

And behind those monsters...

Dozens of eyeball aliens floated out of the shadows. Some were small, while others were enormous.

The atmosphere on the battlefield shifted.

Inside another modified vehicle, the first group of the Freedom Convoy watched the approaching monsters.

Aldina sat behind the wheel. Beside her sat Nina. And in the back was Atlas.

Nina pointed toward the massive army.

"Sis Aldina."

"Looks like we finally found the perfect place to drop off Big Brother Atlas."

Aldina nodded.

"Let’s go."

Nina pressed a button.

Click.

A panel on the roof opened, revealing a compact energy cannon. It began charging with a loud hum.

BZZZZZZT!

Nina grabbed the controls.

"Fire!"

BOOM!

A brilliant beam shot forward. Everything in its path vanished. Zombies were vaporized to ash, clearing a straight road through the horde.

Nina sighed.

"It’s a shame I can only fire this thing once every ten minutes."

Aldina stepped on the accelerator. The vehicle surged forward, eating up the distance between them and the Brute army.

Then Nina turned toward Atlas.

"Big Brother..."

"All the best."

Atlas looked at her innocently.

"Huh?"

Before he could understand what was happening, Nina pulled out a syringe and plunged it into his neck.

Atlas blinked.

"Nina...?"

His eyelids became heavy.

"What... did you..."

His body swayed.

Then—

Thud.

Atlas collapsed onto the floor of the vehicle.

Nina looked toward Aldina.

"Sister."

"It’s time."

Aldina nodded.

She yanked the steering wheel, swerving the vehicle hard. The side door slid open.

With one powerful kick, Aldina sent Atlas rolling out onto the dirt.

THUD!

Atlas landed in the middle of the road. The vehicle sped away without looking back.

The zombies scattered by the energy cannon flooded back into the area. Within moments, Atlas was completely surrounded.

Then—

His eyes opened. The innocence was gone.

His pupils slowly turned a deep crimson. His fingers curled into fists.

His muscles began expanding. Golden hair erupted from his skin as his body grew larger and larger.

CRACK!

His bones shifted.

CRACK!

His shoulders widened. His muscles bulged under his expanding frame. Golden fur covered his entire body.

Within moments, a gigantic golden ape stood in the middle of the horde.

"ROOOOOAR!"

The ape violently slammed both fists against his chest.

BOOM!

The surrounding zombies staggered from the sheer force of the roar.

Then they charged.

Atlas grinned. He grabbed the nearest zombie and smashed it into the ground.

BOOM!

Another zombie lunged from behind. Atlas spun around and punched it into the distance.

He tore through the horde with overwhelming strength.

Then his crimson eyes caught sight of a moving target.

The escaping vehicle.

Atlas stopped. His head slowly turned. His nostrils twitched as he caught the scent.

Then—

"ROOOOAR!"

He charged after it.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Every step shook the ground. Zombies were sent flying as Atlas chased his own teammates.

Inside the vehicle, Nina glanced through the rearview mirror. Her face paled.

"Oh no..."

"Sis Aldina!"

"Big Brother Atlas is coming after us!"

Aldina remained completely calm.

"Don’t worry."

"Master already accounted for this."

She reached toward the dashboard and opened a small compartment.

Inside...

Was a bunch of bananas.

Nina’s eyes lit up.

"This will do."

She grabbed a compact crossbow launcher, then carefully secured the bananas onto a specially designed bolt.

Nina aimed toward the sky.

"Goodbye, Big Brother."

TWANG!

The bolt shot forward, flying high over Atlas’s head.

Atlas stopped in his tracks. His nose twitched. His crimson eyes followed the scent in the air.

Slowly...

He turned around. The bananas were flying toward the Brute army.

Atlas changed direction with a heavy stomp.

"ROOOOAR!"

He chased after the flying fruit.

But—

THUD!

The bolt landed in the dirt. A zombie stepped directly on it.

SPLAT!

The bananas were crushed to mush beneath its feet.

Atlas stopped.

Silence fell over him.

His crimson eyes stared at the ruined bananas. His entire massive body trembled with rage.

"ROOOOOAR!"

He slammed his fists against his chest before charging headfirst into the horde.

Nina watched from the safety of the vehicle. She gave Aldina a thumbs-up.

"Mission accomplished."

Aldina nodded.

Nina’s smile became mischievous.

"Now..."

"It’s time for the gift I prepared for Big Brother."

She pressed another button.

The rear section of the vehicle opened. Two large metallic containers launched into the air.

WHOOSH!

The containers flew like guided missiles.

Atlas was still rampaging through the horde when—

WHOOOOSH!

The two objects banked hard, changing direction mid-air.

Atlas noticed them. He stopped his rampage. His crimson eyes followed the approaching machines as they slowed down.

For a moment, Atlas simply stared at them.

Then, almost instinctively...

He raised both arms.

The containers responded.

CLACK!

Their outer shells split apart. Several small mechanical sections unfolded from within.

ZZZT!

Blue energy flashed across their surfaces.

The machines locked around Atlas’s wrists.

CLANK!

One.

CLANK!

Two.

The metallic containers shifted and reshaped themselves around his massive forearms. The armor plates slid into position, and small mechanical locks snapped shut.

A pair of enormous black-and-gold gauntlets now covered Atlas’s fists.

The transformation took only a few seconds. The gauntlets gave off a faint mechanical hum.

Atlas stared at them curiously. He slowly raised both fists.

The machines responded with a low rumble.

WHUMMM.

A faint energy glow traveled across the surface of the thick metal.

Atlas didn’t understand what they were. But he understood one thing.

They were powerful.

He slowly brought his fists together.

CLANG!

The moment the two gauntlets collided—

BOOOOOOM!

A powerful shockwave exploded outward. Dust and loose debris were blasted into the air. The surrounding zombies stumbled backward. Even the Brutes several meters away turned their heads to look.

Atlas looked at his fists. A huge grin spread across his furry face.

"ROOOOOOAR!"

He bent his knees. His thick muscles tightened.

Then—

BOOM!

Atlas launched himself forward. His massive body shot toward the approaching Brute army like a golden cannonball.

The first Brute raised both arms to defend itself.

Atlas’s fist was already coming.

"BOOOOOOM!"

The collision shook the entire battlefield.
