Chapter 433: Chapter 433: Coin of Fate
Naledi moved, her body moved so fast she appeared to have teleported. She swung her sword in a wide arc.
Knowing they would just eat her laws and essence energy she didn’t bother using them and even so.
Space bent around the sword, this created a gravitational pull that dragged the crickets towards her.
With a single sword swing she cut down tens of thousands of them opening a large patch of the space in front of her.
That space was filled back up in a blink of an eye but she didn’t care, she jumped straight into the swarm of crickets.
They descended upon her like a tsunami, her sword flashed killing thousands with each swing.
Considering her speed, she was akin to a harvester in a field of wheat killing millions each second.
However she frowned, ’ I really do lack stamina, I can’t last very long like this, Ved, hurry.’
Her physical strength was only due to her divinity, her divine flames purify and strengthen her body passively.
Without it, she would much weaker physically compared to most of her peers, her specialty was with the soul.
Which she couldn’t use here, these crickets were nothing but drones that lacked souls, only that herald held a soul.
However not only was she protected behind trillions of crickets that kept growing, she was also at rank 8.
While Naledi was strong, she couldn’t easily destroy a soul of a rank 8 creature, let alone one equal to a mythical grade.
The reason she even bothered to fight here was to buy time, she knew she couldn’t kill her opponent.
While Naledi was killing crickets like a grim reaper, Ved had entered the singularity.
What he had entered was the singularity space or universal dimension, the singularity itself was inside.
Ved froze, the singularity floated in front of him,.like the first one, it made absolutely zero sense.
It appeared like a small sphere but one without dimensions, it had no diameter or circumference.
It was a mass of laws condensed into a tiny point of infinite mass and power, it held the power of the big bang itself.
If this thing exploded Ved was certain to die without a shadow of a doubt and so would Naledi who was just outside.
Which is why Ved stood frozen because before him was a human, a human boy with dark hair and skin.
The boy was facing the singularity reaching out to touch it. Ved knew how volatile this thing was.
It was the reason they were sent, as divinities, they were the only ones with the exception of sovereigns who can touch a singularity and not die instantly.
Even creation realm experts would need certain treasures but for others, even with said treasure they would still die.
This boy didn’t have any treasure, ’ Could he be a sovereign?’ Ved wondered because that was the only explanation he could think of.
He was certain he was not a divinity or he would’ve sens..’ Wait What’s that?’ he sensed something.
Not the boy but something on him, something that was, ’ Mine, he has something of mine.’
He couldn’t explain it but the connection made him certain this boy had something belonging to him.
" Stop!" His voice boomed like heavenly thunder making the human shake, he turned around fearfully.
" Oh great senior I have wronged you please don’t kill me, I’m just an insignificant....lord Ved?" He suddenly called out his name.
" You’re an insignificant lord Ved?" Ved felt his anger bubbling inside him, realising the misunderstanding the boy shook his hands to clarify.
" No no sir, I’m from earth, you might not remember me but you saved my life, you and lady Naledi."
Ved didn’t say anything, he didn’t believe a word he said, earth was destroyed, how could this insignificant human survive.
He was certain now, this guy was neither a divinity or a sovereign but a human at rank 3, yet a rank 3 human can enter this place.
Get so close to a singularity and not be stretched out like spaghetti for eternity? Who would believe that? Not him.
" Ved, this boy seems to be holding your crown of divinity, that shouldn’t be possible without the key.
The crown is locked there with that...thing, you need all four fragments to create the key and even if he had the last one.."
’ Three are with me, which means....’
" This guy, is powerful enough to enter and exit a place even sovereigns couldn’t, be must a God and not a weak one."
Ved nodded and grew more vigilant, " Senior I don’t know who you are but if you want the singularity, it’s yours, I’m out."
He turned to leave, " Wait!’ the boy shouted stopping him.
’ Damnit what does he wants now, I’ve already given him the singularity, damn I’m gonna die.’ a thousand thoughts ran through his mind.
" Lord Ved I’m sorry for rude but please take me with you, don’t leave me here, I swear I’ll serve you from now on, I’ll polish your boots.
Wait, you’re a dragon, you don’t wear boots, I’ll polish your scales, I’ll make sure each one is super shiny so please don’t leave me wash."
Ved was confused, ’ Why is he still pretending and what does he mean polish my scales, are my scales dirty?’
" Not that your scales are dirty but even a shiny floor deserves some polishing, I’m kneeling.
Ah, there’s no ground, I’m spiritually kneeling towards oh great lord, save this pitiful soul, I can’t take it anymore.
There’s nothing to do here, I’ve spent years and anytime I get close to that thing thinking it might it’s a way out, I find myself further from it, it’s so frustrating."
He was straight out bawling his eyes out at this point, with even snot on his nose, he looked too pitiful.
However Ved’s mind was somewhere else, he immediately commented about his scales as soon as he thought about them.
’ Can he read my mind? Stupid question Ved, of course he can he’s stronger than a sovereign.’
" I’m just a pitifully weak human who can only look up to mighty people like you, please don’t abandon me."
He waved his arms swimming towards Ved in a very pathetic manner but Ved was even more shaken.
’ Is there nothing I can hide from him?’ having his mind read felt very invasive.
" Haaaa, so that’s it." He heard Manas sigh.
’ What is it?’ he asked, he needs to get away from this crazy God.
" He really is a weak human."
" Huh?!" Ved exclaimed out loud.
" He just has the coin of fate, basically, he has the luck of lady luck herself."
