Chapter 103: 103: MY BLUFF, YOUR REALITY.

"You..." Mr. Faux struggled to keep his cool. "What the hell do you think you’re doing? Threatening me? Blackmailing me?"

But June simply smiled.

"I wouldn’t be silly enough to do that. I’m simply telling you the matter at hand. I wouldn’t want to see the end of this if I were you."

Mr. Faux slowly clenched his fists.

"What do you want?"

June smiled, his arms folded across his chest.

"Simple. I leave with him."

Mr. Faux scoffed.

"And why would I fall for the words of a kid like you? Eh? All your bluffing means nothing to me!"

June merely raised an eyebrow as he watched him.

"You’re just a kid. What do you know? No matter how hard you try, you’re only bluffing with empty words. What do you even know about business?"

Mr. Faux smiled coldly.

"So go play somewhere else. As for my son, he’s not leaving this house."

June stared at him calmly for a moment before slowly speaking.

"You asked for it, then. I guess I won’t feel bad about the upcoming news."

Mr. Faux frowned.

"What upcoming news?"

June said nothing, he simply smiled.

June had already figured Mr. Faux wouldn’t easily let him have his way, so he’d prepared for this. And as planned, his backup plan began playing out almost immediately.

The timing couldn’t have been better.

Mr. Faux’s phone suddenly rang.

He paused when he saw his secretary’s name flashing across the screen. His eyes moved from the phone to June.

June raised an eyebrow.

"Pick up. Why hesitant? Scared?"

Mr. Faux frowned and immediately answered the call.

"And why are you calling me this late at night—"

He was ready to snap at his secretary, but his voice suddenly stopped.

"What?!"

Mr. Faux stared ahead in disbelief as his secretary delivered the shocking news.

As he continued listening, his eyes slowly lifted toward June.

June casually admired his fingers, completely unconcerned about the man’s stare.

When the call finally ended, Mr. Faux lowered his phone and glared at June.

"You..."

He was at a loss for words.

But the message from that call was obvious.

The deal his company had desperately been trying to secure—

They’d lost it.

His secretary had explained that MilTan Enterprise had contacted them to inform them that they were now in serious discussions with another company they wished to partner with.

En’s company.

And at that moment, Mr. Faux finally understood.

June hadn’t been bluffing.

"How did you...? You..."

June smiled at him.

"So, how do you like the gift? Grand enough, or...?"

Mr. Faux gasped and staggered slightly in shock as Mrs. Faux quickly grabbed him.

"How... how did you do that? How is that even possible?"

June smiled.

"A kid, you said..."

He sighed.

"I guess this kid knows a little more about business than you thought, don’t you think?"

Mr. Faux struggled to contain himself as he marched toward June.

But before he could get close, Nyx immediately stood up.

Instinctively, he stepped in front of June, shielding him from his father’s approaching figure.

June stared at him in surprise.

He hadn’t expected Nyx to protect him.

Mr. Faux, however, glared at Nyx with disgust.

"You useless bastard... You’re even backing him now? How useless can you possibly get?"

He turned toward June.

"And you! What the hell have you done to my son? What the hell do you want?!"

June smiled.

"I want nothing more than what I’ve already presented to you. So think fast because I don’t have all the time in the world. I only have tonight, so make your decision before I have my brother finalize the deal."

Mr. Faux gasped.

June added casually,

"I’m pretty sure you won’t survive if that happens."

Mr. Faux clenched his fists as he glared at him, a thousand thoughts running through his mind.

He certainly wouldn’t survive if that happened.

His company was already struggling, and losing MilTan Enterprise would push him dangerously close to financial ruin.

And now, June had forced him into a position where he actually had to consider the boy’s words—

Something he never would have allowed himself to do before.

Mrs. Faux, however, was furious.

She stepped forward.

"You shameless bastard! Who do you think you are, threatening us like that? Do you think we’ll fall for it?! Bow down to you because of your silly words?!"

She continued firmly.

"My husband doesn’t need the words of some silly child who knows nothing. You are not leaving with my son, and that’s final—"

"Take him."

Silence. The words hung heavily in the room.

Mrs. Faux slowly turned toward her husband in shock.

"Huh?"

Mr. Faux kept his furious eyes on June.

"Isn’t that what you want?" he asked coldly.

He stared directly at him.

"Take him and go back to the academy. Let him stay there. I give you my full permission."

Mrs. Faux stared at him in disbelief.

"What?! Why would you—? How can you listen to this child? He’s probably just pulling some strings!"

She struggled to understand, but Mr. Faux never looked away from June.

Nyx stood there silently, equally surprised by the sudden turn of events.

He hadn’t expected his parents to actually give in.

But then again, June truly had his own unique ways of doing things.

June smiled.

"That’s more like it. You see how easy that was? You just needed to listen, and now everyone gets to have a happy business life. Don’t you think so?"

Mr. Faux was furious, but he forced himself to remain calm.

"Make sure you keep your word."

June smiled.

"As long as you keep yours and never send those silly guards after him to spy on him, I’ll try my best not to get too dramatic here."

Mrs. Faux was completely speechless.

She couldn’t believe June was actually getting his way.

She turned toward him.

"How... how can you take away my precious son like that?! What right do you have?!"

But June’s smile disappeared.

He stared at her.

"Precious son?" June scoffed.

"That has to be the funniest thing I’ve heard all day."

His eyes turned cold.

"What parent in their right mind treats their so-called precious son the way you do?"

Mrs. Faux froze in confusion.
