[BL] Oops! Guiding The F Class Villain Esper Gone Wrong!
Chapter 104: SOMEONE CAME.Chapter 104: 104: SOMEONE CAME.
She tried to understand what June meant by that.
His earlier comment suddenly resurfaced in her mind, and Mrs. Faux couldn’t help wondering if June knew something about the way they treated Nyx.
At that moment, she had a growing feeling that June knew far more than he should.
She cleared her throat before speaking.
"He’s my son. And no matter what, you can’t just take him away as you wish. It’s illegal. I can call the top authorities and even sue you for trying to take my son away."
Mr. Faux tried to stop her, but she continued confidently.
"You’re just a useless F-Rank Guide with no strength whatsoever. You only rely on your family connections. So all you can do is bluff! I’ll make sure you’re thrown into jail if you try taking my son away!"
June smiled, his arms folded as he stared at her.
"Look who’s talking about illegal things here."
His smile remained.
"I’m pretty sure that if the authorities knew what was happening in this house, you’d be the ones locked up for life."
Mrs. Faux stiffened.
June continued.
"So? Should we start by actually calling the authorities? Let’s see who gets arrested first when the marks on his body are discovered and the CCTV footage gets exposed."
"...."
Mrs. Faux gasped.
She had finally pushed June far enough to confirm it.
He knew.
He knew exactly what had been happening behind the scenes.
But June didn’t stop there.
"Of course I come from a wealthy family. If I don’t use my family’s influence, then who will? You?"
He smiled.
"If you insist on starting a legal war, maybe we should begin suing each other right now. Then let’s see who has the bigger connections."
His eyes shifted toward Mr. Faux.
"Do you think the already-falling Faux family would stand a chance?"
Mr. Faux immediately grabbed his wife, stopping her from saying anything else.
June shook his head as he looked back at Mrs. Faux.
"And besides, an F-Rank is still better than some unawakened deadweight who makes his children’s lives miserable just for an insignificant taste of power."
His eyes were cold, filled with nothing but contempt.
Mrs. Faux finally fell silent.
She seemed to realize she had nothing left to use against June.
All she could do was stand there in fury as silence engulfed the room.
"You can take him."
Mr. Faux finally spoke with a forced smile. "Take him out of our sight, if you wish."
June stared at him.
"I will. And I hope you don’t come looking for him anytime soon."
His smile returned.
"I wouldn’t want anyone distracting him. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee that your precious business deal will last forever."
Mr. Faux’s expression stiffened.
June simply smiled before turning toward Nyx.
Nyx stood there without saying a word, still struggling to process everything that had just happened.
June looked at him.
"Come on. Let’s go. Your dorm at the academy is already waiting."
---
June followed Nyx upstairs to his room so he could pack his things.
While Nyx quietly gathered his belongings, June stood nearby, watching him.
"I’m sorry it’s a bit messy," Nyx said, looking embarrassed. "I didn’t know you’d come."
June folded his arms.
"I told you I would. Why did you think I wouldn’t?"
Nyx hesitated as he continued packing.
After a while, he quietly said,
"I just didn’t think you actually would show up. I thought you just said it..."
He didn’t continue. But June could understand what Nyx meant.
Growing up, Nyx had become used to nobody coming for him. Somewhere along the way, he had convinced himself that he simply wasn’t worth coming for.
So, he probably hadn’t expected June to actually keep his promise.
He hadn’t expected anyone to.
And seeing June standing here now had left him completely speechless.
June smiled as he watched him.
"I want you to trust my words from now on. My words to you will always be sincere. I’ll always keep my promises."
He paused.
"All you have to do is trust me and wait for me. Okay?"
Nyx stood there, staring at June.
Those words made him question everything he had spent his entire life believing.
Because for once, Someone had actually come for him.
For once, someone genuinely wanted to help him.
It felt strange and awkward. He didn’t even know how to accept it. He simply wasn’t used to being cared for.
June smiled. "Don’t think too much about it. I’ll help you pack."
Nyx quietly resumed packing while June began strolling around the room.
His eyes moved across the plain surroundings.
The room was simple and almost completely devoid of personality.
In a strange way, it reflected Nyx himself—the quiet, empty environment perfectly echoing the life of someone who had spent years being suppressed.
As Nyx continued packing, he suddenly asked,
"Aren’t you scared?"
June had stopped in front of a picture sitting on the table.
It was a photograph of Nyx and his brother.
June quietly admired it, recalling the story he knew about him. "Scared of what?"
Nyx looked toward him.
"My parents aren’t easy people to deal with. I’m sure they’ll find a way to get back at you."
He hesitated.
"Aren’t you scared of getting involved with me? It can be a hassle."
"It’s not a hassle."
June smiled, his eyes still fixed on the photograph.
"As long as I can make you happy, I don’t care who I have to go up against."
His voice softened. "And I mean it."
Nyx turned toward him.
For a moment, he couldn’t find the words to express what those simple sentences had made him feel.
He only knew that something inside his chest fluttered.
Slowly, he placed a hand over his heart. Why did June’s words make him feel like this?
And why did June’s presence, in general, always make him feel this strange way?
It was unfamiliar.
A feeling that made him both anxious and excited at the same time. It was something completely new. A feeling he’d never experienced before.
And while Nyx was still lost in his thoughts, June casually pulled open one of the drawers.
His eyes immediately landed on the dagger sitting inside.
June froze.
He didn’t need anyone to explain why it was there. He understood what Nyx had used it for.
Nyx suddenly noticed what June was doing.
His expression immediately changed.
He rushed forward and slammed the drawer shut almost instantly.
Then he stood there, staring directly into June’s eyes.
His breathing had become uneven.
The two stood silently, their eyes locked.
Nyx’s mind raced with panic.
He was terrified of what June would think if he understood what the dagger was for.
He was scared that June would suddenly see him differently.
That he would view him in a negative light and probably judge him.
And somehow, the thought of June judging him terrified Nyx more than anything else.
