Chapter 119: 119: BELIEVE YOU.

Finn stared at them. "No... I don’t think so. It’s not like that at all. I tried. I guided him, but they were stronger... It broke me a couple of times..."

Ryan stared at him. "Are you sure? Because he’s not looking like someone who received stable guiding..."

They all stared at Finn again as he shook his head.

"Don’t blame me. I honestly tried, but I guess my effort isn’t enough. I’m just an F-rank after all..."

June smiled as he spoke.

"He’s right. Let’s not blame him for being an F-rank. I’m sure he tried..." He smiled warmly at Finn. "Don’t worry. I believe you."

Finn smiled back at him.

"Thanks..."

Ryan sighed. "Yeah, maybe he’s right. It’s not his fault his energy can’t guide an S-rank. He’s just an F-rank."

Kael rolled his eyes and turned away.

"Whatever. What happens to him then?"

"Luckily, I came with some medication," Ryan said.

He placed a hand around Simon’s neck and began soothing him with his energy. They watched him for a few moments as Simon’s pale complexion slowly began improving.

Then Simon coughed.

A moment later, his eyes slowly opened.

"Oh. It worked," June smiled. "That’s great."

Simon struggled to sit up as he looked around.

"What happened...?"

"You almost killed yourself with your little wind disco show," Ryan said as he got to his feet alongside June.

Simon stared around before his eyes eventually met June’s.

"Are you okay?"

June nodded. "We’re fine."

He looked around the battlefield.

"Now, to find a way into that second zone..."

Suddenly, a small tornado began rising from a hole in the ground.

It slowly grew larger.

Everyone stared in its direction as June scoffed.

"It’s not over...?"

Ryan folded his arms and turned toward Kael.

"Do your thing, little redhead."

Kael glared at him.

"Who are you calling that...?"

He turned, swinging his staff before throwing it toward the tornado.

The staff shot directly into the hole.

Immediately, the tornado burst into purple dust and disappeared.

June blinked before slowly nodding.

"Cool..."

Ryan turned toward the others.

"Now let’s find our way to that portal. Fast."

June turned toward the eagle.

"And I guess we have one means of transportation..." He sighed. "I should have gotten more, but we’ll make do."

And so, all six of them climbed onto the eagle before taking off into the air.

They flew for quite some time, staring down and around from the eagle while trying to find the portal.

"I thought the portal was directly opposite us. Where is it now? Was it like an illusion or something?" June questioned.

"We’ll never know," Ryan said as they continued moving through the purple, misty atmosphere in search of a way out.

Then suddenly, they caught sight of something below.

"Well, look what we have here..." Ryan adjusted his glasses. "I guess this is where our Elite 5 are..."

They looked down at the sight of the Elite 5 fighting a massive snake monster with five heads.

The white-and-purple snake was enormous.

The four S-rank Espers struggled to bring it down while the S-rank Guide stood behind them.

The Elite 5 had already gone through a series of battles against monsters in the confusing atmosphere.

Even for them, the entire place had become increasingly confusing.

They had assumed they were familiar with the Cosmic Dungeon Space and would reach Zone Three much faster.

But things had become far more complicated than expected.

Among all the monsters they had fought so far, however, this one was the strongest.

And they were struggling to bring it down.

While they fought, Evelyn suddenly looked upward and caught sight of June and his teammates flying through the air.

"How the hell...?" She gasped. "How did they even make it past that gate?!"

Rayder turned around.

"I guess they aren’t as weak as we thought. They’re even able to survive until now..."

"Pure luck. No skill," Jason muttered as they continued fighting the monster.

The Espers swung their weapons and unleashed their powers toward the different heads of the snake. The massive creature continuously pulled back before striking toward them again, spraying purple venom in every direction as they struggled to dodge.

Evelyn folded her arms.

"Well, I’d like to see how long they can last, then. They should take on some of the burden for their seniors."

As she spoke, she moved to the side and picked up a purple energy stone.

With a smile, she turned and threw it directly upward toward the eagle carrying June and his team.

The five-headed snake was extremely possessive of the energy stones scattered around its territory.

The Elite 5 had trespassed onto its land and attempted to collect the stones, which was what had triggered the monster’s appearance in the first place.

And now, Evelyn had thrown one directly toward June’s team to redirect its attention toward them.

And it worked.

Immediately, the five-headed snake turned its attention upward toward where the stone was flying.

Then it shot directly into the air.

The snake hadn’t given the Elite 5 a moment to breathe since the battle began.

But now, it had something else to chase.

While the monster was distracted and busy attacking June’s team, the Elite 5 were finally free to move on.

The five of them moved toward a corner and turned back with malicious smiles on their faces.

"We should get going. Let’s find the portal quickly," Luther said.

"What’s the rush?" Rayder smiled. "It’s not like they’re going to get there before us or take the Core first."

He folded his arms.

"Let’s enjoy a good show before leaving. I’d like to see how those proud brats get torn apart."

And so, they decided to stand back and watch for fun.

The energy stone flew toward June’s team before landing directly in June’s hand.

June held it up and stared at it.

"Oh... Pretty stone..."

Ryan looked downward at the approaching monster.

"Well, I don’t think you want to be holding that right now..."

They all looked down at the vicious, angry creature approaching them.

And at that moment, it became clear what had happened.

"That annoying bitch..." June snapped, glaring toward Evelyn as he cursed beneath his breath.

He looked at the others.

"Do you think we should throw it back at them or something?"

Nyx held onto June and stared directly into his eyes.

"Do you like the stone? Do you want to keep it?"

"....."

June blinked.

"Then keep it."

Nyx pulled out his staff and turned toward the approaching monster. "I’ll get you more."
