Chapter 34: 34: WHAT AN ENTRANCE I

"But I’ll take it." June smiled. "I am the golden trophy after all."

Everyone immediately let out sighs of relief. As June turned to look at them, they all quickly put on polite smiles as though nothing had happened.

"So... let’s move on to the next step," Raymond said with a relieved smile.

---

June spent almost the entire evening getting ready. His parents had waited for him for quite some time before June finally asked Raymond to inform them to head over to the venue first and that he would arrive shortly.

They agreed and left.

June sat patiently while his hairstylist worked on his hair.

"This is the most crucial part," he informed everyone seriously. "The details matter."

After she finished, June examined himself in the mirror from every angle before slowly tilting his head.

"...The hair feels like a bird’s nest. Can we do it one more time... please?" He looked at them with pitiful puppy eyes.

Raymond stared at him in disbelief.

"You’ve already redone your hair ten times..."

"..."

June eventually settled on the hairstyle after the twelfth attempt before moving on to choosing shoes that perfectly matched his outfit. After another lengthy round of comparisons, he finally selected the accessories he liked most before carefully choosing a fragrance.

"Perfect fragrance. Tonight I’ll smell like the most sought-after omega," he declared proudly as everyone finished the final touches while he admired himself in the mirror.

He smiled in satisfaction.

"Perfect. The poor main character could never relate to this."

Shaking his head dramatically, he turned toward Raymond.

"Let’s go."

---

By the time June arrived, the celebration was already in full swing.

He rode comfortably inside a luxurious limousine while Raymond drove.

Throughout the ride, June kept checking himself in the mirror every few seconds.

"Do you think this eyelash looks longer than the other one?"

"..."

Raymond simply stared at him through the rearview mirror.

June sighed and waved it off.

"Never mind." Then he suddenly remembered something and looked at Raymond again. "Did you arrange everything I asked for? The grand entrance and all that?"

Raymond nodded confidently.

"Yes. I made every arrangement before we left. Everything should be ready. You’ll definitely have your moment tonight, Young Master."

June smiled with satisfaction before leaning comfortably against his seat.

Since he had already been forced into attending this party, he had decided he might as well make the greatest first impression possible. He had carefully planned every dramatic trick he could think of just to create an entrance the guests would never forget.

He honestly couldn’t wait.

---

As the limousine slowly arrived outside the venue, June looked through the window with an eager smile.

Groups of wealthy guests stood outside the grand hall chatting among themselves. Elegant ladies and distinguished gentlemen gathered beneath the sparkling lights, dressed in luxurious evening wear while servants walked around carrying trays of drinks.

Everyone looked refined. They all looked expensive.

June adjusted his jacket with a satisfied smile.

"It’s time to show them who’s the real star tonight."

Outside, several attendants finished rolling out a magnificent red carpet from the limousine to the entrance.

Once everything was prepared, June casually brushed his fingers through his neatly styled hair before gently pushing open the limousine door.

At that exact moment, the musicians Raymond had hired began performing. Elegant strings and piano echoed through the entrance, announcing the arrival of the evening’s guest of honor.

Almost instantly, every pair of eyes turned toward the limousine.

Exactly as June had planned.

He stepped out gracefully with an elegant smile, feeling completely immersed in the dramatic atmosphere...only to realize he couldn’t move.

He frowned slightly.

"..."

He tried taking another step.

Nothing.

He attempted once more, but it still felt as though something was holding him back.

"What’s going on?"

Confused, he glanced behind him.

His expensive suit had become firmly hooked on the edge of the limousine door.

"..."

The musicians awkwardly stopped playing.

Heat instantly rushed to June’s face. "What the..."

Trying desperately to maintain his dignity, he carefully reached behind himself and gently tugged at the trapped fabric.

Once and then twice, still nothing.

Unfortunately, before he could free himself, the limousine engine suddenly started.

Raymond, believing June had already gotten out, had begun driving away to park the vehicle.

June’s eyes widened in horror.

The car slowly began moving while he remained attached to it.

He couldn’t imagine being dragged across the road in his designer suit. That had to be the most expensive way to die imaginable.

Seeing the limousine beginning to roll forward, June realized elegance was no longer an option.

He slammed his hand against the window.

"Hey! Someone’s still here! Stop the car!"

Another loud bang. "Hey!"

He completely abandoned the idea of saving face as he continued pounding on the limousine until Raymond finally noticed him.

Raymond immediately slammed on the brakes.

Silence fell over the entrance.

Every guest stared directly at June.

Meanwhile, June could practically feel embarrassment wrapping around him like a blanket.

He hurriedly yanked his suit free.

Unfortunately, he used so much force that the moment it came loose, he stumbled several steps forward.

Mistaking that for the start of his grand entrance, the musicians enthusiastically resumed playing.

Elegant music filled the air while June desperately fought for balance across the red carpet.

Then disaster struck.

His polished shoes slipped on the carpet and he completely lost his footing and fell face-first onto the ground.

The music stopped for a second time.

The entire entrance became deathly silent as everyone stared at the Young Master lying flat on the red carpet.

At that moment, June sincerely wished the ground would split open and swallow him whole.

Or perhaps another dungeon could conveniently appear and eat him instead.

Anything would have been preferable.

Sadly, neither happened.

With no other choice, June slowly climbed back to his feet, adjusted his wrinkled suit, cleared his throat, and forced the most elegant smile he could manage.

"It feels good reconnecting with nature..." he said with complete seriousness. "Especially the ground."
