[BL] Oops! Guiding The F Class Villain Esper Gone Wrong!
Chapter 36: RANDOM INTRODUCTIONS.Chapter 36: 36: RANDOM INTRODUCTIONS.
"What do you even know about epic entrances?" June muttered as he looked down at the black suit he was wearing. "You couldn’t even pick a decent suit. You brought me this bland one."
Grey smiled and shook his head.
"Well, that was definitely an epic entrance. Next time you’re planning something like that, let me know beforehand so I can record it."
June shot him a glare. "Shut up."
Grey nodded with an amused smile.
"Sure. Although I’m pretty certain the entire media already recorded it. You’ll probably be trending sooner or later without Mum and Dad’s help."
The mere thought was enough to torture June’s peace of mind.
Millions of people would probably be watching videos and pictures of his humiliating entrance by now. How was he supposed to survive after becoming a nationwide joke?
Perhaps moving to Hawaii and living a quiet life on the beach wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
"...Whatever. Like I care."
Grey chuckled softly.
"Sure. Whatever you say." He turned toward the door. "Hurry up. Mum and Dad are waiting."
With that, he shook his head and walked away.
June stood there speechless, staring at himself in the mirror while trying to smooth down his hair once again.
For a moment, he found himself wondering why Grey had suddenly become so relaxed around him. Wasn’t Grey supposed to be cold and distant toward the original June?
Then another thought crossed his mind.
How exactly was he supposed to walk back out there and face everyone after that spectacularly embarrassing entrance?
"Young Master... are you ready to come out?" Raymond asked from outside the restroom.
"Leave me alone," June replied, still drowning in his own embarrassment.
---
Not long afterward, June returned to the banquet hall.
The grand venue was filled with elites from every industry imaginable. They stood elegantly in expensive evening wear, chatting softly among themselves while holding glasses of fine wine.
June lifted his chin and walked forward as though absolutely nothing embarrassing had happened, even though he could practically feel everyone’s eyes following him.
"Son!" Mrs. En quickly waved him over.
June walked over to where his parents were standing.
His two older brothers stood behind them. Grey still wore the same amused expression from earlier, while Lucas, the eldest, looked as though he didn’t particularly want to be there in the first place.
"And this is our dear son," Mr. En proudly announced as he introduced June to a group of wealthy guests.
There were three middle-aged couples, all dressed so luxuriously that they looked as though they owned private yachts and vacationed overseas whenever they pleased.
Even the way they laughed radiated wealth.
"I’m sure you’ve already heard about how our son cleared that dungeon," Mrs. En added proudly. "Isn’t he simply incredible?"
One of the men nodded with genuine admiration.
"I’m still amazed. An F-Rank clearing an anomaly dungeon? That’s practically unheard of."
The others nodded in agreement, all smiling at June with impressed expressions.
June simply maintained a polite smile while his parents continued bragging on his behalf.
"He spent months preparing for this examination," Mrs. En proudly declared. "He read every book imaginable about Espers, Guides, and dungeons. He stayed awake night after night watching documentaries and spent countless hours practicing."
"Exactly!" Mr. En eagerly added. "Sometimes he wouldn’t even eat until he’d mastered a new skill!"
The wealthy guests looked at June with even greater admiration.
Meanwhile, June silently recalled doing the complete opposite of everything they had just described.
Behind him, he heard Grey and Lucas quietly laughing.
Everyone turned toward them.
Lucas scuffed. " Yeah... he definitely did all of that. Every single bit of it."
June shot him a cold glare before looking away with an annoyed scoff.
"So hardworking," one of the guests praised with admiration.
Unfortunately, his parents were only getting started.
They enthusiastically dragged June across the hall, introducing him to several elite Espers and Guides from prestigious organizations.
"And when our son graduates from the academy," Mrs. En said happily, "you should really consider recruiting him into your organization. He’ll be an incredible asset."
June looked at her helplessly. "Mum..."
Without missing a beat, Mrs. En discreetly pinched him on the backside.
June immediately bit his lip from the sudden pain and wisely decided to remain silent.
"He certainly is a rare talent," one of the Espers said as he handed June a business card. "We’d be delighted to welcome you into our organization after graduation... or even before then. It would be our pleasure."
Before June could even reach for the card, Grey stepped forward and took it first.
The surrounding conversation immediately fell silent. Everyone watched curiously.
Grey calmly examined the business card before looking back at the Esper.
"I don’t think you need to worry about my brother," he said as he returned the card. "He’s already been scouted by our organization."
His calm expression carried an unmistakably cold warning.
The Esper met Grey’s gaze for a moment before smiling politely.
"Well... he’s always free to reconsider." He turned toward June. "Right?"
June didn’t answer. He simply stared at the two of them.
Personally, he had no interest in joining any organization whatsoever.
"No," Grey answered firmly before June could speak. "He won’t."
The Esper merely shrugged with another smile.
"If you change your mind, we’ll be around."
He handed his business card to Mrs. En instead.
"You know how to reach us."
With that, he and the rest of his team excused themselves and walked away.
The moment they were gone, Mrs. En lightly smacked Grey on the shoulder.
"You! What do you think you’re doing? You almost ruined your brother’s chance at a bright future!"
"Ouch..." Grey rubbed his shoulder before looking at her. "Why are you trying to send him somewhere else when he can simply work with us?"
Mrs. En folded her arms.
"No. You boys are not turning that place into a family business." She clicked her tongue before adding,
"Besides, I’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors about your organization supposedly going bankrupt or something. It doesn’t sound like a worthwhile place to invest in. Honestly, I don’t even know why you’re still working there."
