[BL] Oops! Guiding The F Class Villain Esper Gone Wrong!
Chapter 65: GOLDEN FLAMES.Chapter 65: 65: GOLDEN FLAMES.
The snake-like dragon flew through the air before turning its attention toward the group standing below. It let out a low, rumbling growl as its enormous eyes swept across them.
"It’s staring at us..." Ryan staggered backward, his expression tense. "What do we do?"
Mr. Ken’s eyes widened.
"We run."
Ryan quickly pulled out the phone as the dragon began moving closer.
"Maybe... this can save us again?"
He raised the camera and activated the flash.
Ryan closed his eyes, silently hoping the strange trick would work a second time.
But nothing happened.
The dragon simply stared at them, completely unfazed.
Ryan slowly opened his eyes and looked from his phone to the enormous creature.
"Did it work?"
The dragon answered by opening its mouth and releasing a stream of blue flames directly toward him.
The flames struck the phone instantly, freezing it solid before the device shattered into countless pieces.
"..."
Ryan blinked at the remains in his hand.
Mr. Ken stared at him.
"Well, that’s quite an answer."
Ryan swallowed nervously.
"June is definitely going to kill me for this. But first, run!"
He snapped the words out, and everyone immediately turned and sprinted through the snow, desperately trying to put as much distance between themselves and the dragon as possible.
Meanwhile, June stared at the enormous creature from a distance, panic rising in his chest.
"What the hell is that?"
The dragon was intimidating enough from afar, but seeing it up close made June wonder how they were supposed to survive.
"How are we supposed to survive this?"
He looked down at Nyx and gently tapped his cheek.
"Wake up. Use your powers. We need them now."
He tapped him again, but Nyx didn’t respond. His body remained frighteningly cold.
June sighed as he remembered what had stabilized Nyx’s energy the last time.
"The kiss... yeah, the kiss. That should help."
He carefully held Nyx’s face between his palms and brought their faces closer together. June inhaled deeply, clearly nervous about what he was about to do, before closing his eyes.
"Well... here goes nothing."
He leaned forward and pressed his lips against Nyx’s.
Almost immediately, June felt warmth spreading through Nyx’s body. The strange energy between them began responding to their contact, flowing steadily from one person to the other.
June held Nyx closer, focusing on the familiar sensation as the warmth gradually spread through both of them.
The cold surrounding them seemed to fade as their shared energy circulated between their bodies. It felt as though an invisible connection had formed between their energy cores, allowing their powers to flow back and forth in a continuous cycle.
Nyx slowly regained consciousness, his breathing becoming steadier as he responded to June’s warmth. The energy inside him, which had previously been dangerously unstable, began settling down.
Amidst the freezing environment, the warmth between them became stronger than the cold surrounding them. June could feel a burning sensation spreading through his own body as the energy continued flowing between them.
Slowly, their eyes opened as they pulled apart.
June swallowed and stared into Nyx’s eyes.
They weren’t the same anymore.
Golden light glowed within them, bright and intense.
As Nyx remained in June’s arms, golden flames began spreading around their bodies. They moved slowly through the air like gentle fire, illuminating the surrounding snow and creating a warm barrier against the freezing atmosphere.
The dragon, which had been chasing after the others, suddenly stopped.
It seemed to sense the strange energy.
Its enormous head turned toward the source of the golden flames.
The dragon stared at June and Nyx for several seconds before releasing a deep growl and changing direction.
It began flying toward them.
Ryan, who had stopped running, turned around and noticed the creature’s sudden change in direction.
"What the...?"
The others also turned.
Their eyes immediately fell on June and Nyx, surrounded by the golden flames.
"What is that?" Finn asked in confusion.
"Golden flames..." Mr. Ken muttered, staring intently at the glowing scene before him.
"Golden flames?" Ryan repeated. "What’s that?"
Mr. Ken shook his head.
"It’s a long story. You wouldn’t understand it easily."
Everyone stared at the scene in awe. Against the frozen landscape, the sight of the two figures surrounded by brilliant golden flames looked almost unreal.
"Do you think we’re safe?" Ryan asked, slowly becoming hopeful.
Mr. Ken blinked.
"Possibly. But it could also be a double-edged sword. We could be saved... or we could all be killed."
---
The dragon flew toward the two figures surrounded by golden flames, releasing a deep roar as blue flames poured from its mouth.
As it dived toward them, June immediately looked up.
"Careful!"
He pushed Nyx aside, instinctively placing himself between him and the incoming attack.
Nyx rolled away just as the dragon’s enormous tail swept downward. The tail wrapped around June’s body and lifted him from the ground before the creature soared into the sky, roaring as blue flames erupted from its mouth.
"June!" Ryan shouted as everyone stared upward.
Simon immediately pulled out his staff, preparing to attack, but Mr. Ken grabbed his arm.
"Don’t be impulsive. You’ll get yourself killed."
"But..."
"Leave it to the flames," Mr. Ken said firmly. "Those flames won’t allow anything to happen to their summoner."
The others stared at him in confusion, clearly having no idea what he meant.
All they could do was watch.
---
Nyx slowly staggered back onto his feet.
Golden flames continued burning around his body, and his eyes glowed with the same brilliant light.
He didn’t look at himself or even glance toward the others.
His attention remained fixed entirely on the sky.
June was trapped within the dragon’s tail.
Nyx stared at him with an intensity that made the golden flames around his body flicker violently. His expression hardened as his hand slowly clenched into a fist, the flames gathering around it.
He was furious.
Nyx took a step backward, his eyes never leaving the dragon above as his mind rapidly calculated the situation. Then, without hesitation, he planted one foot firmly into the ground and launched himself into the air.
Golden flames erupted beneath him.
His body shot upward like a blazing rocket, leaving a trail of golden fire behind as he flew directly toward the dragon.
Ryan and the others simply stood there, staring upward in complete shock.
"Are they really F-Rankers at this point?"
Mr. Ken watched Nyx disappear into the sky and slowly shrugged.
"Beats me."
