Nil had no choice but to enter it.

So Nyx decided to make the best use of the power Nil had left behind and fulfill that promise himself.

Tears slowly ran down June’s face as he watched the memories unfold. He covered his mouth with one hand, staring at the scenes with a soft gasp as he finally understood what had really happened to the villain.

This was a part of Nyx’s story that had never existed in the original comic.

Of course, it hadn’t.

Nyx had only been written as an "evil villain." His past had barely been explored, and his descent into villainy had simply been presented as the result of his hunger for power.

That was all June had known.

But now that he knew the truth, he felt terrible.
