Chapter 74: 74: YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.

"That privileged jerk..." one of the students muttered. "Can’t he read the room?"

"He’s definitely going to be in serious trouble now!"

"He’ll probably get expelled this time! He’s really playing with fire."

"He thinks he can do anything he wants a get away with it? In his dream" Another scuffed.

"That brat. It’s over for him! The Minister will end him now!"

Mr. Kevin was practically fuming with anger, and everyone could tell. He cast a cold glare at June before speaking furiously.

"And why the hell would I take your filthy F-rank hand? Who the hell do you think you are? An F-rank dares to talk to me like this? I can see you wish to end your career right here..."

Before he could finish, June’s countdown ended.

Five seconds had passed with their eyes locked, and June had successfully synchronized with him.

Just as he wanted.

Immediately, June spoke in his mind.

Just shut up and take my hand, you old hag.

"...."

Mr. Kevin abruptly fell silent.

Without even realizing what he was doing, he reached out and took June’s hand, allowing June to pull him back onto his feet.

Everyone gasped in shock.

The students who had expected Mr. Kevin to deal with June were the most stunned.

"What did we just witness?"

"Did he really...?"

"Are my glasses deceiving me, or do I need to go for a checkup?"

With Mr. Kevin now standing, June cleared his throat and smiled at him.

"So, what do you have to say for all the mess you caused today?"

June played a command through his mind, manipulating Mr. Kevin into saying exactly what he wanted.

Without hesitation, Mr. Kevin replied, "I’m sorry!"

He immediately dropped to his knees before June and bowed his head.

"I’m sorry for putting you through such stress! I was a big fool for trying to stop you and take him away!"

"....."

The atmosphere exploded with murmurs as everyone turned to stare at one another, desperately trying to make sure they weren’t the only ones witnessing this bizarre scene.

Mr. Gregory, the Chancellor, stepped forward.

"And what the hell is happening here?"

June stared at him and shrugged.

"I don’t know."

He turned toward Mr. Kevin.

"Right?"

Mr. Kevin immediately stood.

"Yes! Mr. En did nothing wrong here. It’s all because of my foolishness that I provoked him. I deserve to die!"

"....."

Grey stared in disbelief at the abnormal scene unfolding before him. It was obvious that something was happening, but he had no idea what.

Syll and Alia, the female Guide, exchanged confused looks. Ryan adjusted his glasses while Simon and Finn blinked twice, as if doing so would somehow make the scene in front of them make sense.

Even Mr. Ken rubbed his eyes and cleared his throat, trying to get a better look.

Meanwhile, several students had already begun taking pictures and recording videos to post online.

This is going to have the Minister speaking, right?

Mr. Kevin suddenly turned toward June again.

"I apologize for my foolishness! Please forgive this old, ugly loser with a retreating hairline!"

He dropped at June’s feet.

"I’ll donate money to orphanages and hospitals!"

June blinked before tapping his own hair thoughtfully.

"That’s so sweet of you. Your sins are forgiven."

He smiled.

June wished he had possessed this skill back in his old world. His boss and the author would have paid big time for putting him through hell!

"Thank you!" Mr. Kevin bowed repeatedly. "Thank you!"

"No problem." June smiled. "So, you and your men can leave now. No one wants to see your face here."

"Yes! Certainly!"

Mr. Kevin immediately got to his feet and turned toward his men.

"Let’s go."

They all nodded and followed him. Soon, they got into their cars and drove away.

The atmosphere went completely quiet as everyone turned toward June.

Confusion and shock were written all over their faces.

June, however, didn’t seem to care what they thought. He simply walked over to Grey, who was still staring blankly at the road, before looking at Nyx, who remained unconscious.

"Hurry up. Let’s get him to the best hospital."

Grey finally snapped out of his thoughts.

"Oh..."

June immediately urged him on.

"Hurry. Where’s your car? Let’s go."

"Oh..."

Grey turned toward Syll.

"Can we use your car?"

Syll was still processing everything that had happened, but he nodded nevertheless.

And so, Grey and June carried Nyx into Syll’s car and drove away with him, while Syll, Alia, and the rest of the squad remained behind, watching the car disappear into the distance.

"Did you all see what I just saw?" Alia asked.

They all nodded.

"Yes, we did," one of the men replied.

The silver-haired guy shook his head.

"I swear, it always follows the same pattern whenever we come here. Those F-ranks somehow pull off something crazy during every test, cause some kind of drama, and then Grey leaves with his brother in the car while we’re left standing here..."

Another man nodded solemnly.

"Déjà vu for sure."

---

Grey and June took Nyx to a specialized hospital for Espers and Guides, one equipped to handle both their physical and mental conditions.

They booked a VVIP room and arranged the best treatment available.

The doctor in charge examined Nyx and conducted the necessary treatment before announcing that nothing serious was wrong with him. His energy had simply become destabilized, which had affected his physical condition.

The doctor prescribed some medication and recommended plenty of rest.

After handling the necessary arrangements, Grey left to deal with other urgent matters at the organization, leaving June behind with Nyx.

June stayed with him throughout the night, sitting beside his bed and keeping him company. He remained awake for as long as he could, determined to make sure Nyx’s fever didn’t return.

He had planned to stay up all night taking care of him.

Unfortunately, sleep eventually caught up with him.

June fell asleep beside Nyx’s bed, remaining there until daybreak.

It was only then that Nyx finally opened his eyes.
