Seoha’s POV

"Well, what, you idiot? What did I say about going around and murdering people" Yujun hisses.

He grabs his husband’s collar and pushes him till his back is against the wall.

"Baby, hear me out" is Jaehyun’s response.

His bottom lip is jutted out and he’s not taking his husband seriously...I think he just likes being touched by the omega.

"Hear you out? We came here with our babies, the both of them!" Yujun says with his teeth clenched and my worry grows.

Yujun is furious, Jaeyun is amused, and I’m terrified.

Taesan...where is he? He can’t be the one on the news...right? We are planning our future; he said he’s quitting the mafia.

"The killer left signatures that says ’Captain’. That title is the only clue we have to know who the murderer is" the radio announcer says and my knees buckle.

I’m going to be sick.

"Precious, calm down. They said a captain did it, please let me explain" Jaehyun says, holding his hands up.

The alpha is not even trying to take his husband’s hands off him.

"Explain" Yujun growls.

"It’s all Kang Taesan’s doing" he says and I blindly reach for the wall to hold myself up.

"Is this why we flew all the way from home? You told me you wanted to make me the first person to put on their new omega line" Yujun pushes his husband harder against the wall.

"Ow...baby, that hurts" Jaehyun says with a pout.

"I told you I only want to meet his mate. So, what is this? Why is there a massacre?" Yujun asks and Jaehyun sighs.

"I swear I’ll tell you, you know I don’t keep things from you" Jaehyun says, eyes darting to me.

It’s a sign that he doesn’t want me to overhear the reason for the news and injuries.

"You’ll explain everything now" Yujun drags his husband away. When they move further down the hall, my legs give out.

I squat there with my heart in my throat and my eyes on the floor. I reach for him through our bond and I’m met with silence.

This isn’t right.

Taesan and I had a cute date last night. We were happy in our own world...we were normal.

I stare blankly at the floor, I don’t even know what I’m expecting, but soon, the couple returns.

"Next time, you talk to me before doing things like that" I overhear the Luna tell his husband as they come closer.

"I know, I’m sorry, my love" Jaehyun apologizes before kissing Yujun softly on the lips.

"Let’s get you cleaned up, you can’t let the kids see you like this. Especially Haeri" Yujun brushes a lock of brown hair out of his husband’s face and Jaehyun nods in agreement.

"Especially my mini-me" he says.

They’re okay with each other, but I’m not okay with myself. I still don’t know what is happening with my mate.

"Please...where is Taesan, Jaehyun-ssi?" I say, pressing my palm together in fear.

"I’m sure he’s okay, I really don’t know. We beat each other, he left and I tried to hide my injuries from Yujun until I gave up" Jaehyun shrugs and Yujun gives him a glare.

"Come here Seoha" the older omega opens his arms for me.

I get up and let him hug me.

"If he doesn’t come back here in the next hour, I’ll order my men to go find him" Yujun says softly and leads me back to the office door.

"I can’t- I just need to know he’s okay" I say, shaking my head side to side to calm myself.

"You know you have to worry about your pup too, she shouldn’t see you this way...hmm?" Yujun murmurs.

His deep voice helps my omega calm down, but it doesn’t help my brain. My mind is buzzing with so many thoughts.

"I’ve got him" Junho’s voice says and I run over to the familiar beta.

"Hyung, I can’t feel him through the bond" I say. "He’s okay, he needed to find somewhere to hide till hunt is over"

"Hunt?" I ask.

"Yes, they’ll never find him, but his state of mind right now is bad" Junho says.

"I don’t understand you, hyung. Where is he?" I grab his shirt, shaking him roughly.

"Where is he?" I ask again and Junho curses. "For your own sake, Seoha, is it hard for you to understand that he’s fine?" Junho snaps and within seconds, he’s knocked backwards by a punch.

"Damnit!" he snarls, eyes turning cold as he glares up at his attacker.

It’s Hwang Yujun.

The omega is holding a gun at Junho’s head. He keeps one arm around me, and his eyes are blue as he pins Junho down.

"You don’t talk to an omega like that. He asked a question respectfully, and he will get his answer from you respectfully as well" he says.

His posture, his voice, and his aura makes him feel like an alpha in this moment. Yujun cocks his gun and from the corner of my eye, I see Jaehyun wearing a smug smile.

"He will shoot you if you don’t speak" the alpha folds his arms.

"Taesan is in a safe house. The police is currently on the hunt for the person behind the massacre" Junho say reluctantly.

"And?" Yujun asks.

"Taesan struggles with his mind, okay? When he meets things that are beyond his control, he loses his mind...and when he’s in that state, it’s better he stays away from people"

"But I need to see him, hyung" I whisper and Junho groans, "you can’t, I don’t trust him right now" he says.

"Ya, take Taesan to see a doctor. Take him to see a therapist. He can’t keep putting this omega in pain, that’s selfish" Yujun says without putting his gun down.

"You think we haven’t tried?" Junho scoffs and Yujun takes a threatening step forward, "you didn’t try enough" he growls.

"Mama! Binnie peepee" Haeri screams from inside the office, stopping the omega in his track.

"I want to see my mate, hyung please...tell him to let me see him" I plead and Yujun sighs.

"Take him to see his mate"

"That’s impossible" Junho argues and Yujun’s eyes grow even colder.

"Two things can happen, it’s either your boss uses his brain and doesn’t hurt Seoha, or you won’t have a boss by the end of the day" Yujun finally puts the gun down.

"Understood?" he asks and Junho nods.

"Fine" Taesan’s righthand man spits.

"Mama!" Haeri calls again and Jaehyun snickers, "that’s my girl" he says with pride.

"I blame you" Yujun glares at his husband before shoving the gun into his husband’s chest. I watch the couple fix their appearance before Yujun goes into the office.

"I’ll get Jisu to stay with Sooin, and then we go" Junho pulls himself up from the floor.
