In the sky above the first floor, a kind of "bubble" appeared that looked like an oversized soap bubble.

It was a gateway to another dimension—the Zero Floor dimension—it was right within their grasp!

"Huh?"

James looked up in surprise.

It didn’t take long for him to figure out what was going on, and he let out a small chuckle of realization.

"That’s your plan? Trapping my hacked account there for all eternity? A good plan, but how will you get me there?"

James asked with a smile.

"Change of plans—try to force him to the Zero Floor!"

Hermes shouted.

In that moment, Lock and Super Max rushed toward James to carry out the new plan. They were both insanely fast.

Then, instead of attacking James directly, they simply grabbed him and started dragging him towards the gateway.

They moved at insane speed. In just a second, they were halfway towards the gateway. It looked like they would succeed!

But then...

"Get slashed!"

James said, and Lock and Super Max went flying backwards with massive sword slash wounds on their chests.

"Heal!"

Aria cast a healing spell, and their wounds began to close up, and soon they were back at their full health.

"Healers... so bothersome..."

James suddenly appeared right in front of Aria with a menacing grin, and he swung the Blade at her.

Aria used her Succubus wings, and flew over the blade, and she then spun in the air and whipped her leg down.

James blocked the kick with his arm and hacked the Blade back at her, but Aria anticipated the move and dodged it easily.

Down at the ground, Fang Raon formed a fist with his right and covered the fist with his Maxima Aura.

"Punch!"

He punched the air, and it was like he shot an air cannon as a powerful force of concentrated air shot out.

It hit James directly and sent him flying closer to the gateway.

Aria’s wings flapped, and she tackled straight into James, pushing him towards the gateway with all her might.

"Ugh!"

James stopped his flight forcefully and looked behind, where he could see the gateway to the Zero Floor.

In that moment, everyone attacked.

Grimson, Hermes, Super Max, Lock, Aria, Rasmus, and Kerr all rushed towards him to push him through the gateway.

Then, the air around James started bending and twisting, and everyone immediately knew what this meant.

"He is trying to teleport!"

"Isn’t Space Lock working?!"

Hermes stopped immediately and poured all his mana into the Space Lock, which was just barely enough to stop James from teleporting.

’He is strong... I need to put all my effort into enforcing Space Lock. It means I can’t do anything else.’

Hermes thought with a dark look.

He landed back on the ground and started chugging down the Mana Recovery potions as if they were the world’s tastiest drink.

’It doesn’t work.’

James thought and looked at Hermes, whom he immediately realized was the root cause for this.

In that moment, everybody else was about to attack him, but James suddenly sped up and disappeared into thin air.

"D-Did he teleport?"

Grimson’s eyes widened in a shock.

"No, he is moving insanely quick!"

Lock shouted as even he had a hard time keeping up with James’ movements, which was pretty shocking.

Lock was widely considered the fastest player in all of Black Online, but James was currently faster than he was!

"I’ll take your head, Hermes!"

James appeared behind Hermes and swung the Blade for his head, and Hermes was in a helpless position.

’If I die... Space Lock will be undone...’

Hermes thought.

He could feel the Blade coming for the back of his neck, and there was nothing he could do at this point.

’Someone!’

Swoosh~!

A fist came for James’ face. He saw it just in time. He stopped his attack on Hermes and blocked the fist with the Blade.

The punch, even though it got blocked, still sent him sliding a couple meters.

"...And who the fuck are you?"

James asked as he looked at Fang Raon, whom he had never seen or heard about before.

"It does not matter!"

Fang Raon opened his right hand and slashed his five fingers towards James with incredible speed.

It wasn’t like his fingers got some claws in them, so it didn’t feel like his fingers could do any damage.

Yet.

James could feel something was off and decided to dodge.

The fingers slashed through the air and cut through the building behind James into five large pieces.

It was shocking!

Almost like Raon’s fingers were as sharp as the sharpest swords!

Who Needs Swords—an Innate Skill that Fang Raon received after advancing to level four about a year ago.

"This is impossible. He doesn’t only have his teleport but also insane speed. It’s not just speed hacks that he used.

"His real self must be quite an athlete."

Grimson said with a dark look.

’There is still a chance.’

Hermes thought, and then he pressed his glabella, the spot between his eyebrows, and communicated with everyone via telepathy.

He told a new plan for everyone.

"...Are you serious?"

"...That is insane..."

Everyone thought that he must’ve lost his goddamn mind, but then they saw Hermes’ serious expression and realized he was dead serious.

"It doesn’t look like we got another choice."

Fang Raon said.

"Aria."

Hermes said.

Aria nodded, and she used her wings to fly away, and she landed on the roof and took out her healing cane.

"Let’s do this!"

Lock gritted his teeth, and his leg muscles ballooned like they were about to explode. He took a sprinting stance.

The electricity crackled around him like a dangerous storm.

His whole body was getting ready for speed that a human body wasn’t meant for. It wasn’t certain that his body would survive.

’I have never used my maximum speed. I’ve been afraid that my body wouldn’t be able to handle it. I don’t have time to worry about it now!’

Lock accelerated to his speed. The trail of electricity followed him like a second skin. His shoes sparked and exploded.

It was only his feet left. When they touched the pavement, the ground cracked beneath him, leaving behind footprints on the ground.

James turned around and ran in an opposite direction, but out of nowhere, Lock grabbed the back of his collar.

"You cannot outrun me!"

Lock shouted, and strange chains of lightning wrapped around James like a cocoon, trapping him in place.

"You’re going to the Zero Floor!"

Lock put the trapped James into a carry and started running towards the gateway.

It all happened within a matter of seconds.

"Cut him!"

James screamed, and the Blade shone, and suddenly, Lock’s head rolled off his shoulders, and blood sprayed everywhere.

Yet.

His feet never stopped running, and his body was still desperately trying to get into the gateway, as if his body hadn’t realized that he was dead yet!

"We’ll take it from here!"

In that moment, Super Max and Grimson jumped towards them, wrapped their arms around James, and kept pushing him towards the gateway.

James then pushed the Blade through the Super Max’s heart.

"Ah..."

Super Max gasped as all of his health dropped to zero, but even with his health at zero, he still wanted to keep pushing him.

But then...

Everything turned dark for him.

Then, he grabbed Grimson’s neck, and as his eyes widened in a surprise, he broke his neck with a sickening "crack."

The lifeless Grimson dropped to the ground.

’This is their new plan? A suicide attack?’

James scoffed.

He broke the lightning chain and threw Super Max and Lock off him.

Their dead corpses fell to the ground with a thud.

In that moment.

Rasmus and Kerr appeared behind James, put him in a chokehold, and then continued dragging him towards the gateway!

The gateway was so close. They could practically taste it already!

"COME ON!"

Kerr screamed.

"MOVE, YOU BASTARD!"

Rasmus shouted.

"Idiots."

James headbutted Kerr, breaking his face in the process, and then he swung the Blade, and cut them down.

The two strongest Rangers of the Tower started falling towards the ground.

"Ngh!"

In that moment, someone tackled James in the back, pushing him an inch closer to the gateway.

It was Raon, who was currently pushing him, but he felt like he was trying to push a boulder up a mountain!

"Piss off!"

James grabbed Raon’s face, and at that moment, James’ eyes started burning with flames. It looked very familiar to Raon.

"Oh..."

Raon gasped.

In that moment, James fired a beam of concentrated fire from his eyes—he used the Heat Gaze—and drilled a hole between Raon’s eyebrows.

A burning hole appeared in his head.

Raon, lifelessly, lost his grip on James and started falling towards the ground.

Fang Raon was dead!

"Hahaha, all of you are dead. And next is you, Hermes!"

James pointed directly at the white-haired Hermes, who looked dead serious, as if all joy had been sucked out of him.

"There is still me!"

Aria, with her wings, grabbed James and threw him towards the gateway, but he stopped just before the gateway, hanging in mid-air.

"Worthless attempt."

James said with a smile.

’Push through...’

Hermes stopped drinking the Mana Recovery Potions, and in an instant, all of his mana ran out.

If he were just an ordinary mage, his spells would stop working by now, but the Space Lock was still active.

Hermes’ head started hurting, like it was splitting open, but he didn’t show a look of pain, and instead, he closed his eyes.

He dug deep into his inner self and opened the Mana Reserve Tank—a flood of mana that he had been storing all these years gushed forth.

Hermes opened the Sinkiller grimoire and grinned.

He hadn’t been using Sinkiller because it cost him so much mana, and he simply didn’t have room to waste any mana because of Space Lock.

Now, with the Mana Reserve Tank, he had a few minutes’ worth of mana, where he could use as much magic as he wanted without worrying about running out.
