Chapter 209: Chapter 209: Azekin Dyefrost

My name is Azekin Dyefrost. The undisputable sovereign of Noman Sector.

Today I walked down the grand promenade of Noman Prime with the measured steps of a god. The royal streets before me were a breathtaking display of opulent architecture.

Towering tall buildings of carved sapphire pierced the crimson sky, and the walkways were paved entirely with polished starlight glass. Every single inch of my capital city gleamed with absolute aesthetic perfection.

But I knew the true beauty of my capital was not found in the shimmering glass or the towering sapphire buildings.

The true beauty lay deep within its foundation.

I built this magnificent empire entirely on the unbroken backs of billions of slaves.

I suddenly paused at the edge of a sweeping crystal balcony, casting my gaze down at the lower tiers of the city.

Far below my royal district, massive industrial foundries billowed thick black smoke into the atmosphere. The rhythmic sound of heavy chains and the sharp crack of kinetic force echoed upward through the smog.

It created a twisted agonizing symphony that I found incredibly soothing.

Other Dominators in the cosmos relied on expensive robotics, temperamental artificial intelligence, or demanding subordinates to run their territories.

I always considered them absolute fools.

After all, Machines inevitably broke down and required rare, costly minerals to repair. Citizens constantly demanded rights, fair wages, and comfortable living conditions.

But a slave was the perfect economic unit.

They were self replicating, easily motivated by the simple application of pain, and entirely disposable.

Through this flawless philosophy, I had built my empire and conquered exactly 90 worlds.

My domain was a masterpiece of ruthless precision.

Every single planet in the Noman Sector served a highly specific purpose in my grand machine.

On the magma worlds of the inner ring, I placed heat resistant lesser species, forcing them to mine molten adamantine until their lungs literally turned to ash.

My lush garden worlds were tended by delicate elven captives, bred exclusively to cultivate rare delicacies for my royal banquets.

Out in the barren asteroid belts, hulking beastkin were chained to heavy drilling rigs, forced to work until their massive muscles simply gave out.

Nothing was ever wasted in my domain. If a slave died on the assembly line, their organic matter was immediately recycled into nutrient paste to feed the next shifting workforce.

It was a perfectly closed loop of suffering and extreme profit.

I continued my stroll down the grand avenue and the lite Ironblood guards clad in heavy kinetic armor knelt instantly as I passed, not daring to look upon my frosty pale features.

To my left, a massive carriage made of solid gold was being pulled. It was not powered by mechanical engines, but by dozens of captured cosmic giants. I had completely shattered their spirits centuries ago. They moved with dead, hollow eyes, serving merely as biological batteries for my personal amusement.

I smiled.

And it was a cold and terrifying expression that lacked any trace of warmth.

The temperature around me naturally plummeted in response to my mood, freezing the moisture in the air into delicate snowflakes that drifted onto the pristine streets.

My dominator system was completely infallible. My 90 worlds produced enough wealth and military might to make even higher tier Dominators hesitate before crossing into my territory. I held absolute control over life and death within my borders, commanding General Gorath and the Ironblood Legion to enforce my will across the stars.

As I reached the end of the promenade, I stopped before a towering statue of myself carved from pure diamond.

It stood tall, facing the vast cosmos. I admired the flawless craftsmanship, completely consumed by my own immense pride.

I felt utterly untouchable. I believed my brutal empire would stand for ten thousand years.

But my peaceful admiration of my flawless diamond statue was abruptly interrupted by a resonant chime.

Wiiiiiiin...

It was a highly specific frequency that I had not heard in over three centuries.

So I quickly reached into my garments and retrieved a small obsidian disc. It pulsed with a sickening green light.

This was the emergency summoning beacon of the Watchers.

The Watchers are an ancient and clandestine figures composed of peak tier Beyonders, ancient deities, and primordial cosmic entities. Their exclusive purpose is to maintain the balance of power across the Anitasloda Galaxy.

They operate entirely in the shadows, observing the steady rise and fall of rulers like a grand game of chess. If any single faction grows too rapidly, or if an anomaly threatens the established hierarchy of the cosmos, the Watchers silently intervene.

They orchestrate galactic assassinations, fund planetary rebellions, and completely erase entire civilizations from history just to ensure no new True God ever ascends to disrupt their perfect equilibrium.

Knowing the extreme severity of a direct summons, I immediately crushed a spatial crystal in my palm.

Soon, the world blurred, instantly teleporting me into a secure dimensional pocket room hidden deep beneath my royal palace.

Next, I placed the pulsing obsidian disc onto a smooth stone pedestal.

The circular room instantly darkened. Seven towering holographic projections flickered into existence around me.

They were cloaked in absolute shadow, their true forms hidden behind dense layers of encrypted cosmic mana.

"Viscount Azekin, You have been summoned because the cosmic scales have tipped violently within your exact borders." one of them said domineeringly.

I frowned deeply, crossing my arms over my chest to project some confidence.

"My domain is completely secure. The Noman Sector produces flawless economic yields, and my slave populations are entirely docile. There is absolutely no imbalance here."

"Hmph. Your arrogance and ignorance are exactly why you will fall. Our celestial observatories have detected a catastrophic spatial anomaly breaching the outer rim of your territory. A fleet of unprecedented scale has effortlessly bypassed your early warning networks." another one said, scoffing.

I felt a rare, unsettling chill run down my spine. The temperature in the room dropped even further, entirely beyond my own control.

"Whose fleet is invading my space?"

"The Zenith Empire," the central figure stated coldly. "Led by a being known as Emperor Zenith. His energy signature is expanding at an impossible rate. He possesses conceptual powers that blatantly violate universal laws. His armada brings weapons of mass destruction that our archives cannot even identify."

The towering holographic figures stared down at me.

"The Watchers do not care about your measly 90 worlds, your wealth, or your slaves, Azekin. But if this Emperor Neo consumes your sector, his momentum will become completely unstoppable. You must crush his vanguard immediately. If you fail to stop his advance here and now, we will purge your entire sector to ash just to contain the infection."

The transmission abruptly cut off, leaving the black disc lifeless.

I stood completely alone in the silent chamber.

For the very first time in my long brutal reign, my immense pride wavered.

Just what is this Emperor Zenith? How come he raise an alarm from the Galactic Watchers?

I was about to find that out soon.
