The ruined city trembled incessantly, a haunting reminder of the fierce battle raging in every corner of the battlefield. Buildings crumbled one after another, while explosions echoed through the air like relentless thunder.

Thick smoke billowed across the shattered streets, flames consumed what remained of structures, and the ground was stained dark red from the blood seeping through cracks in the stone roads. Everywhere one looked, desperate souls fought for survival. The cacophony of clashing metal, furious roars, anguished screams, and shockwaves filled the city without pause. This place no longer resembled an ancient ruin hidden within the Vault; it felt like the very end of the world.

Atop one of the tallest broken towers stood Sage, quietly surveying the chaos below. His black robe fluttered violently in the winds generated by countless clashes as his silver hair swayed gently across his face. Surrounding him were massive magic circles rotating slowly in different directions, each exuding an overwhelming Mana pressure into the atmosphere.

Though his expression remained calm, a coldness had settled in his eyes. Earlier, he had held back while supporting Guild members from a distance; however, witnessing lower-ranked Adventurers struggle and nearly perish had ignited a shift within him.

Just below Sage, another Guild member was suddenly hurled against a broken wall after being struck hard across the chest by an enemy clad in black. Blood erupted from his mouth as he helplessly bounced across rubble.

"Dammit!" another Adventurer shouted angrily before charging forward with his sword raised high.

Unfortunately for him, three enemy fighters intercepted him almost immediately.

The Adventurer’s expression shifted dramatically.

Too fast.

He couldn’t stop in time.

As three attacks bore down on him simultaneously, something extraordinary happened: Sage’s eyes glowed faintly. In that instant, his perception transformed completely.

The ruined city, the collapsing buildings and frantic movements, became illuminated by glowing streams of Mana flowing endlessly around them like an invisible river network. Every individual movement and fluctuation of energy became astonishingly clear to Sage’s eyes.

Aetheric Insight Eyes activated.

Time seemed to slow down not because reality changed but because Sage’s perception accelerated beyond normal limits. He could see how Mana coursed through each attacker’s body: muscles tightening, breaths shifting, energy gathering in their legs and shoulders just before they struck. Each forthcoming move became painfully obvious to him.

Sage raised one hand slowly. Three tiny magic circles appeared around his fingers instantly.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Three compressed fireballs shot downward like cannonballs and exploded precisely between the attackers before they could complete their strikes. Flames erupted violently as shockwaves blasted them away.

The Guild Adventurer froze mid-motion,

Turning his head upward toward Sage atop the tower,

Even at this distance, he sensed that Sage could see everything unfolding on the battlefield all at once, he wasn’t alone in this realization; many others began to notice too.

Sage’s spells had evolved beyond mere power; they were now terrifyingly precise.

On the other side of the battlefield, Gregor was locked in a fierce struggle against several elite foes when an attacker suddenly emerged behind him, a hidden blade aimed at the back of his neck. Before Gregor could react...

CRACK!

A bolt of lightning shot down from the sky, piercing straight through the attacker’s skull. Gregor’s eyes widened as he instinctively turned to Sage. There Sage stood calmly atop a ruined tower, one hand extended outward.

"That bastard..." Gregor muttered under his breath. "He’s seeing the whole battlefield..."

Nearby, Mina slammed another enemy into the ground with her massive shield and shouted, "Petty Uncle Sage! Stop showing off and help more over here!"

As soon as she finished speaking, dozens of tiny wind magic circles appeared around her.

SHIIIIING!

Compressed wind blades sliced through every enemy trying to surround her. Mina blinked once and puffed out her cheeks. "Hmph! Took you long enough!"

From afar, Sage rolled his eyes but remained silent. At that moment, something unusual began happening around him. The Mana in the vicinity started flowing toward him at an astonishing rate, no, "fast" was an understatement. It looked like rivers rushing toward a giant whirlpool.

Divine Grade Mana Veins.

The moment Sage ceased fully suppressing them, Mana surged toward him with terrifying speed. Countless tiny streams flowed visibly through the air and entered his body continuously, distorting the surrounding space due to the sheer concentration gathering around him.

One enemy warrior froze upon sensing these abnormal Mana fluctuations.

"What...the hell..."His voice trembled slightly.

Even those clad in black began to notice it, the amount of Mana surrounding Sage had become absurd. It no longer felt like just one person; it felt as if an entire battlefield’s worth of Mana was converging into one being.

Sage exhaled slowly, causing the glowing lines of Mana around him to brighten even further. In that instant, he activated his third ability fully: Mana Overlord Gaze.

The chaotic battlefield transformed into crystal clarity within his perception. Every spell trajectory, movement angle, and fluctuation of Mana became perfectly organized in his mind, it was as if the battlefield itself had morphed into a giant map where he could calculate every attack effortlessly.

A small smile crept onto Sage’s lips. "So this is what full control feels like..."

BOOOOOOOOM!

Dozens of gigantic magic circles materialized across the sky above the ruined city. Everyone froze; even combat slowed under the sheer pressure descending from above as enemy fighters gazed upward with pale expressions.

"What...?"

"How many magic circles is that...?"

"That’s impossible..."

The colossal magic circles rotated slowly while fire, lightning, and wind gathered inside them simultaneously.

Sage lowered his hand calmly and the world erupted.

BOOOOOOOOM!

Gigantic pillars of fire rained down from the sky, engulfing entire streets in an instant.

CRACKKKKK!

Lightning bolts cascaded endlessly, striking like divine retribution.

SHIIIIIIIIING!

Massive wind blades sliced through the ruined roads, effortlessly tearing enemy formations apart. The battlefield erupted into utter chaos. Enemies were obliterated one after another before they could even react, some bursting into a mist of blood, others hurled through collapsing buildings.

The Guild members stood frozen, their eyes wide as they witnessed the devastation unfold. Sage’s spells had transformed; they no longer resembled ordinary Mage attacks but rather looked like natural disasters.

On one side of the battlefield, a group of enemy elites attempted to charge at Sage, using the wreckage for cover as they moved at high speed.

Unfortunately for them...Sage saw everything.

To him, the Mana coursing through their bodies was as visible as light in darkness. He spotted three enemies hidden behind rubble, two preparing an ambush from above, and one lurking underground beneath shattered stone.

With a calm flick of his fingers, tiny magic circles appeared around various points on the battlefield.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions erupted all around, catching the hidden enemies completely off guard. They barely had time to comprehend what was happening before their bodies were torn apart. The Guild members observing this chaos felt a chill run down their spines. Every attack was precise; no spells went astray. Even Gregor paused mid-fight, staring at Sage in disbelief.

"That monster..." he muttered under his breath.

Brutus crushed an enemy into a bloody pulp and glanced up, equally astonished. "Was he always this ridiculous?"

Caelis narrowed his eyes, watching the Mana swirl around Sage like an unending storm.

"No..." he said slowly. "He’s changed."

Meanwhile, on another part of the battlefield, several enemy fighters began to show signs of fear for the first time since the battle commenced. One of them stared at Sage with trembling eyes.

"That amount of Mana..."

"How is he casting so much without tiring?!"

Another enemy swallowed hard as he stepped back cautiously. "He’s not normal..."

"He’s nothing like ordinary Mages..."

The atmosphere shifted dramatically on the battlefield. Until now, the enemies had viewed Sage as a dangerous support Mage, but that perception was rapidly changing.

They were beginning to grasp the truth: Sage wasn’t just support, he was the very essence of the battlefield itself.

Sage opened his glowing eyes wider as endless streams of Mana flowed around him like an immense invisible web connecting the entire ruined city. In that moment, it became clear to everyone present, he was different.
