Caesar's Moon

Chapter 66 - 65: Banger

Chapter 66: Chapter 65: Banger

On several Neo-earth social media sites, the interview Caesar had with Dazzle magazine on Friday just like the video of her and Damien in the cafe was overwhelming.

Each site was filled with hundreds and thousands of comments.

In the Pinger site, there were different comments were written:

"She’s so full of herself"

"I mean she is not wrong. If I were in her shoes I’d say worse"

"Waaah! The fans and ero-talents said mean things to me. Mizukais do something!"

"Boy, she cooked that interview"

"The fans cheered for Nero over me and my feelings are hurt- Caesar rn"

"Caesar is so hot"

On the Blue bird site, many comments were written such as:

"Yo, Caesar is awesome!"

"Hail Caesar!"

"Not gonna lie, she does have a bubble butt"

"The Mizukais pet has the most retarded take I have ever seen. Well, what do you expect from an entitled brat?"

"Look at that ass"

"For everyone bashing Caesar, tell me the lies in what she said"

"Based Caesar"

On the Tellme site, set of comments also piled up:

"She’s just salty that the fans and talents aren’t sucking up to her"

"Go get them, Caesar"

"Me after watching Caesar’s interview: cry me a river, snowflake"

"Man, her hypocrisy knows no bounds"

"My respect for Caesar has tripled with that interview"

"Tell me you are privileged without saying you are privileged"

"That was the most reasonable take I have ever seen"

"To everyone defending Caesar, she’s not gonna let you hit"

"Am I the only one who noticed she declared war on the talents?"

While comments were flooding the different sites, elsewhere in the EBW stadium, Jaenir the third who was dressed in his suit and sitting in his well furnished office, decorated with multiple trophies and other items.

Across him sat Akari Mizukai who wore a black dress with black gloves and black feathered hat. Round her neck was a necklace made of white diamonds and on her right wrist she had a white diamond bangle.

"Good afternoon , Mr Jaenir." Akari said with a smile.

"Good afternoon, Akari. And what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Jaenir asked.

"I’m here to discuss about my client, Caesar Moon." Akari answered.

"Yes, Caesar Moon. The usurper as many call her." Jaenir said, "What is it you wish to discuss about her?"

"As you know, Caesar Moon has been the center of controversies in EBW since her arrival, but ever since that video with Damien, she has brought a different level of controversy and more eyes than one could imagine." Akari said, "I recently watched the interview of Dazzle magazine and heard everything she said about the company. Quite bold, don’t you think?

Now that once again has brought another level of controversy just like the cafe video and more eyes to the company."

"With all due respect, Akari, we are both busy people, so I suggest you cut to the chase and say what you want." Jaenir said.

"My, my, always so intense." Akari said as she slightly titled her head, "Unlike your grandfather who was more relaxed, you are quite the opposite. Do jokes still offend you?"

Hearing that question, Jaenir narrowed his eyes while a single vein pulsed on his forehead.

"Anyways, since you want me to get straight to the point, I will.

I learnt the bulldozer Eren Brock is about to have his last match on Wednesday next month before he takes his leave of absence, and I want Caesar to be his opponent." Akari said with a small grin.

"I’m afraid that’s not possible." Jaenir said.

"Oh? And why not?" Akari asked.

"For starters, Eren Brock wrestles on Wednesdays and we agreed that your client will be wrestling on Thursdays. The only way those two can meet is in a pay per view. Otherwise, it would disrupt the booking chain of giving other ero-wrestlers their chance to shine in their respective matches." Jaenir said, "Besides, Eren has already been booked to be in a one-on-four handicap match on Wednesday as he requested while your client Caesar Moon has been booked to face the Gambit king Cassius Gold."

"Then change it." Akari said with a cold stare.

Jaenir stayed silent for while, locking eyes with Akari before he replied.

"I don’t think you understand, we cannot ’change’ anything. And besides despite you being a Mizukai and a VIP guest, doesn’t give you the right to decide how we run things in this company.

When you first brought her to this company without undergoing the necessary means, we allowed it.

When you requested to pick her second opponent and chose Nero Rogue, we allowed it.

Now, it seems you have gotten entitled to decide what we do and what we don’t."

"As much as your family is an important part to this company, I’m afraid I will have to decline." Jaenir continued as he leaned back on his chair.

Akari stayed silent for a little while before a small smile formed on her face.

"Is that so?" Akari asked, "Jaenir, it seems you have forgotten who you are speaking to. It seems you have forgotten who your company’s top sponsors are.

My family is the reason this company is still standing today."

"Tell me something, what would happen if I decide right now that my family should stop funding your company?" Akari asked as Jaenir narrowed his eyes, "How long will it survive? How many years? Sure, you will still have many sponsors, but do you believe they won’t pull the plug once they hear we have withdrawn or once things becomes too hot for them?

With the amount of sponsors gone, you would be forced to cut a lot of workers including the talents. You’d also be forced to cut their pays."

"Let’s not talk about the legal issues." Akari continued as she leaned back on her chair, "You know that the major reason why EBW can still continue legally with little to no problems is because of my family especially with that ’darkest era’ your grandfather had to deal with.

You know what I’m talking about... The ’incident’?"

Hearing Akari say those words, Jaenir’s fist slightly tightened.

"If we pull our funds and protection, what makes you think the case cannot be reopened? Hm?" Akari asked, "How long do you think your company will ward them off? Even with your best lawyers and the loopholes you use, there is still a limit to how far you can go.

Do you understand?"

"Your life... Your grandfather’s company’s life... His work... Is in our hands." Akari continued with a chilling stare, "He was a wiseman when he chose to partner with us. Do not make the mistake of destroying it."

Jaenir kept quiet for some time, staring at Akari with the cold expression of disdain while tapping his index finger on the table.

"Fine. You will have your match." Jaenir said, "Your client will face the bulldozer Eren Brock as his final opponent before he takes his leave of absence."

"Thank you, Mr Jaenir. That wasn’t so hard, was it?" Akari asked with a smile.

Jaenir stayed silent again for a while before he spoke.

"Just so you know, this will cause a lot of problems for the talents and it will make do nothing but raise their resentment towards her.

It will reinforce the belief that the company is favoring your client. Isolating her even further."

"Oh, Caesar can handle it." Akari replied as she playfully waved her hand, "After all, with everything she said in her interview, I don’t think she will care if they hate her even more."

"Besides, what you just said about what the talents will think sounds controversial." Akari continued as she rested her jaw on the back of her wrist, "Isn’t that what your company thrives on? Controversies?"

"I will make arrangements on what day next she wrestles." Jaenir said, "Whether it is Wednesday next month or Thursday."

"Thursday will do." Akari said, "I look forward to the match you’ve set for my ’client’ , Caesar."

Akari then stood up from her chair and picked her purse from the table.

"Thank you, Mr Jaenir the third for your cooperation." Akari said.

"Thank you for your time here, Miss Akari." Jaenir replied.

Akari turned her back to walk away, however as she reached towards the door, she halted for a while.

"Oh and Jaenir..." Akari called.

"Yes?" Jaenir asked.

"Believe me when I say ’this’ match between my client and Brock... Will be an absolute ’banger’." Akari said as she looked over her shoulder with an evil smile.

Jaenir, however, narrowed his eyes at Akari’s words.

After Akari had spoke, she opened the door and left the office and immediately her guards who were standing outside, followed after her.

Jaenir on the other hand, leaned back on his chair in a heavy manner and sighed.

He glanced at all of the awards EBW had won before spotting a picture of his grandfather who had a fair skin, long grey hair, goatee beard and green eyes.

"Damnit, grandpa. What the hell did you align this company with?" Jaenir asked in his mind.

Meanwhile as Akari was walking, the image of Caesar’s face played in her head which made her slightly grin.

"Oh, Miss Moon since you want to play tough, I’d love to play that with you." Akari said in her mind, "Let us see if you will break against that animal or if you will survive.

Either way..."

"It is still going to be entertaining." Akari continued as her grin grew wider.
