Chapter 195: Chapter 195: The Class President Totally Panics (EC)

"We can deal with showing us around later. First, I’d like to discuss something with you, Class President."

Kotone Asaba spoke to the Class President.

She froze slightly. "What is it?"

"This isn’t a good place to talk. Let’s go somewhere else."

Kotone spoke in a calm tone.

"All right..."

The way Kotone had suddenly approached her made the Class President feel guilty and uneasy.

Makima showed no reaction when she saw Kotone and the Class President leave the classroom together. She knew Kotone would never do anything without a reason.

For the time being, Asa Mitaka could only remain in the classroom and wait.

After growing somewhat bored, she decided to greet Makima.

"Makima..."

Asa only called her name at first, worried that it would be humiliating if Makima ignored her.

Makima responded with a smile.

Of course, that faint smile was merely an act.

An awkward silence soon settled between them.

Asa had never made a friend before, and Makima was especially difficult to approach. Since Asa was already bad at socializing, she had no idea what she was supposed to talk about with her.

While Asa and Makima struggled through their awkward conversation, Kotone and the Class President had already reached a secluded corner with no people or surveillance cameras nearby.

The Class President became increasingly nervous.

By now, she was no longer worried that Kotone had discovered something. Instead, she feared that he might be planning to do something to her after deliberately bringing her to such an isolated place.

"All right, I’ll get straight to the point."

Kotone said directly, "You have feelings for Mr. Tanaka, don’t you, Class President?"

"...!"

The Class President’s expression changed instantly. The smile on her face became visibly strained.

"Kotone, what are you talking about?"

Ignoring her attempt to play dumb, Kotone continued, "You like Mr. Tanaka, but Mr. Tanaka is more interested in Asa. I’m not wrong, am I?"

The Class President still refused to admit it, but her stiff smile and the panic in her eyes betrayed her.

"You don’t understand? If you refuse to admit it, I might reveal something even more serious. Something involving a highly inappropriate relationship, for example..."

Although Kotone maintained a smile, there was something distinctly calculating about it.

The inappropriate relationship he was referring to was the fact that the Class President had slept with Mr. Tanaka.

Of course, Kotone was not certain whether that had already happened at this point in the timeline, so he only gave her a vague hint rather than stating it outright.

The Class President immediately broke out in a cold sweat.

Now that she believed someone else knew about even that, she completely panicked.
