Chapter 205: Chapter 205: The War Devil (EC)
Just as they were about to reach the school, they happened to run into several of their classmates.
The moment those students saw Asaba and Mitaka walking together, they were all surprised.
"That girl is in our class, isn’t she? I wouldn’t have even known her name if the teacher hadn’t called on her yesterday. What was it again?"
"Mitaka, I think. I only remember that she hardly ever talks, so I never really noticed her."
"I think she’s pretty weird. She’s always staring at us with that strange look in her eyes. Is Asaba seriously walking to school with her?"
"I don’t know why, but Asaba seems pretty close to Mitaka. It was the same during class yesterday. Even our teacher didn’t know her name, but Asaba had just transferred in and already knew it. Maybe they knew each other before this?"

Asa could vaguely hear her classmates talking about her.
Although their comments still annoyed her, she did not care as much as she would have before.
None of those classmates had ever been her friends. She had no intention of approaching them or trying to win their approval, so they could think whatever they wanted.
As long as Asaba was not like them, that was enough. Makima was also an exceptionally rare friend with whom she could get along.
After school that afternoon, Kotone escorted Asa home just as he had that morning, while Makima returned home by herself.
"Thank you," Asa said when they reached the entrance to her apartment building.
"Please be careful while you’re at home too. You can call me at any time if something dangerous happens," Kotone said before leaving.
He and Asa had exchanged phone numbers earlier that day so they could contact each other whenever necessary.
As long as Asa called him promptly when she encountered danger, he could reach her immediately because he had already left a "coordinate" on her.
"Okay..."
Asa seemed to want to say something else, but she was too embarrassed to voice it. Her cheeks were slightly flushed.
A very bold idea had suddenly occurred to her. She wanted to invite Asaba upstairs to spend some time at her apartment.
However, the moment she came to her senses, she immediately rejected the daring thought. Even had she not dismissed it, she would never have been able to say it aloud.
She was afraid Asaba might think she was an easy girl.
Asa watched Kotone’s departing figure for a while before finally heading upstairs.
That night, while Kotone was at home, several notifications appeared.

Kotone immediately turned to its newest page, only to discover that the person shown there was the War Devil.
The War Devil...
Kotone was somewhat surprised. The War Devil should currently be in the form of an animal called a potoo. How was he supposed to increase her Affinity in that state?
Regardless, he decided to first check where the War Devil was currently located, then carefully consider what to do next.
Kotone closely examined the information about the War Devil in the Affinity Codex, only to find that her current surroundings looked extremely familiar.
Kotone’s pupils abruptly contracted.
That was clearly Asa Mitaka’s home!
