Chapter 76: Chapter 76 Ryuken vs Georgios
THUMP!
DUP!
BAM!
Ryuken unleashed a combo of attacks against Georgios. He punched him in the head before following up with a powerful kick to his chest. However, Georgios just stood there and taking every attack without even moving.
For the past fifteen minutes, Ryuken had been the only one attacking, but none of his attacks had any effect.
"Hahaha! What is this? Your attacks feel like those of a child! I can’t feel anything!" Georgios laughed.
He wore a simple singlet with military-style pants. His yellow hair was slicked upward with hair oil.
Ryuken remained silent while maintaining his fighting stance.
’His body is incredibly tough. None of my attacks are having any effect. It’s like I’m hitting a rock.’
He looked down at his hands. His knuckles were already bruised and bleeding.
"Yaaawn! It’s starting to get boring just standing around. I will start attacking now." Georgios then flexed his large muscles before raising his hand and swinging it toward Ryuken.
BAM!!
Ryuken raised both forearms and blocked the attack. But he immediately clenched his teeth as he felt as if a metal hammer had slammed into his forearms.
His feet were slightly dragged across the floor from the impact, while his forearms began turning red.
However, Ryuken remained silent. This wasn’t the usual Ryuken. But there was a reason for it. Right now, his mind was completely focused. He slowly blew the air out of his mouth before closing his eyes.
"The path of martial arts is not only about strengthening one punch. It is also about strengthening the mind."
Those were the words of his father, who was also the one who taught him martial arts.
He then imagined his hands and feet being covered in metal. He inhaled and exhaled a few times before opening his eyes again. A smile suddenly appeared on his face.
"Now, let’s see if this works."
Ryuken lowered his body, shifting his balance as he placed his feet and hands into a fighting stance. Georgios charged toward him and swung his massive fist. Ryuken clenched his teeth before swinging his own fist to meet Georgios’s attack.
"URAAA!"
BAM!!
A powerful impact erupted as their fists collided in the middle. Both Georgios and Ryuken’s hands were thrown backward from the force. Ryuken’s hand trembled slightly from the impact, but he quickly clenched his fist again.
Georgios, meanwhile, couldn’t believe what had just happened. Someone had actually blocked his attack with his bare fist. Even a tough shield couldn’t withstand his punches without leaving a dent.
Georgios’s eyes locked onto Ryuken, who was smiling at him.
"Don’t think you can beat me with just that! It was just a fluke!"
He then unleashed a continuous set of punches toward Ryuken. Ryuken moved his body from side to side, smoothly evading every one of Georgios’s attacks. He then jumped into the air and swung his leg, striking Georgios directly in the neck.
"Urghh!"
For the first time in his life, Georgios, who stood nearly two meters tall, was forced down onto one knee. His neck was throbbing with pain, a pain he hadn’t felt in many years.
"Grrr! You!"
Georgios tried to stand back up, but Ryuken wasn’t going to waste the opportunity. He jumped into the air again before extending both legs toward Georgios’s chest.
THUMP!!
The impact sent Georgios stumbling backward before he fell onto his back.
"Alright!"
Ryuken cheered as he clenched his fist. He felt a sense of achievement after managing to knock Georgios down.
However, Georgios was far from defeated. He slowly got back on his feet as a green aura began covering his body.
Suddenly, Ryuken saw two horns start growing from Georgios’s head. His body began to change, taking on the appearance of a bison. His already massive muscles bulged even further as his body underwent the Beast Morph transformation.
"This is not fair!" Ryuken complained as he watched Georgios transform right in front of him.
"Zuuuuh!"
A powerful gust of air blasted from Georgios’s nose, blowing dust across the floor. He suddenly began stomping the ground with his leg, snorting heavily as he prepared to charge at Ryuken.
"Oh no!"
Ryuken began to panic. He knew that if those massive horns impaled him, he would be done for.
Georgios then charged toward him. His speed was surprisingly fast, but Ryuken barely managed to evade the attack by rolling to the side.
BOOM!!
Georgios crashed into a nearby pillar, leaving a massive crack across it. With a single charge, the large concrete pillar was nearly destroyed. It was enough to show just how terrifying the impact of Georgios’s attack had become.
Georgios pulled his horns out of the pillar and locked his eyes onto Ryuken again. He charged again. And once more, Ryuken managed to evade.
For the next few minutes, that was all Ryuken could do. He only dodged every attack, as he had no chance of blocking Georgios’s overwhelming strength.
’What should I do?’
As Ryuken was thinking, suddenly, a small piece of debris fell onto his shoulder. He looked up and saw the cracks on the pillar were radiating to the ceiling and becoming larger, and more debris was beginning to fall.
Then, an idea came to him. Ryuken stood near one of the pillars.
"Hey, stupid cow! Come here and attack me!" Ryuken taunted.
"I am not a cow! I am a bison! RAAAA!"
Georgios charged toward him again. Ryuken quickly dodged.
"Is that so? But why do you look just like a cow? Did you eat grass?" Ryuken taunted again.
"YOU!"
Georgios charged once more and slammed into the pillar. Ryuken quickly jumped to the other side, positioning himself near the pillar.
Georgios looked toward him. But suddenly, his eyes widened. He finally realized that his repeated attacks had damaged all the pillars supporting the second floor.
They were now heavily cracked, barely supporting the ceiling above them. Ryuken then prepared himself to kick one of the pillars.
"No!" Georgios shouted as he realized what Ryuken was planning.
BAM!!
Ryuken unleashed a powerful kick against the pillar causing the existing crack widened. He then immediately ran away from the area.
CRACK!
CRACK!
The damaged pillars finally collapsed. The surrounding pillars soon followed, causing the ceiling to lose its support.
BOOM!!
Then the ceiling collapsed directly onto Georgios.
"What is happening?!"
Lars, who was leaning against another part of the second floor, was shocked when he felt a massive tremor. He looked toward the other side and saw that a large section of the second floor had collapsed. Above the destroyed area, the night sky and the moon were now clearly visible.
As dust covered the area, Ryuken emerged from the rubble. A satisfied smile appeared on his face.
"What’s the point of having such large muscles if your brain is like a cow?"
