Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]
Chapter 439 - 51 - Hidden dangerSuddenly a small noise from outside snapped them both out of their conversation.
Chen immediately looked toward the door.
"What was that?" Skyy asked curiously.
"I don't know. Stay here and don't come outside until I come back."
Chen quickly got up from the rocking chair and walked outside, his eyes carefully scanning the surroundings. The forest seemed quiet again, with only the soft rustling of the leaves and the occasional sound of branches moving in the wind.
Then he saw it.
A stag was standing between the trees.
Chen stopped for a moment.
It was a beautiful creature, almost too beautiful for this ruined world. Its large antlers stretched high above its head, looking almost like branches themselves, and its coat looked smooth and clean despite everything around it. But what caught Chen's attention the most were its eyes.
They were silver.
A strange sheen seemed to cover them, making the creature look almost majestic.
Chen instinctively wanted to move closer, but the moment he tried to take a step, his body suddenly froze.
"What…"
He tried moving his arms.
Nothing.
His legs refused to move either.
Panic immediately rushed through him.
What is happening?
He tried using his powers, but even that felt strangely difficult. His entire body was completely stuck as if some invisible force was holding him in place.
Then he heard footsteps behind him.
"Chen?"
His heart dropped.
Skyy was standing beside him with a worried look in his eyes.
"Skyy! I told you to stay inside!" Chen shouted, trying desperately to move. "Go back!"
But Skyy didn't seem to hear the fear in his voice. His attention had already fallen on the stag. His eyes widened. "It's beautiful…"
Chen watched helplessly as Skyy slowly walked toward it stumbling on broken branches on the ground.
"Skyy, don't go near it!" he warned again. "Fuck! Skyy stop!"
But strangely, the stag didn't seem bothered by Skyy's presence. It simply stood there and watched him approach.
Waiting for its prey to get close.
"Skyy! Snap out of it! Skyy!" he screamed on top of his lungs.
But he couldn't stop what was happening. Skyy slowly raised his hand and touched its head.
He watched in horror wating for that thing to tear into the man. But… strangely it didn't.
The stag didn't attack. Instead, it lowered its head slightly, allowing Skyy to stroke its fur. A huge smile bloomed on Skyy's face. "You're so beautiful," he whispered.
He looked completely fascinated by the creature. There was something about the stag that seemed to attract him, perhaps because it carried the same strange, almost otherworldly feeling that Skyy himself possessed.
The stag also seemed fascinated by him too.
Its silver eyes remained fixed on Skyy as though it had never seen anyone like him before. Skyy's Ethereal nature seemed to draw its attention, making it unusually calm around him.
Skyy slowly wrapped his arms around its neck and hugged it.
Chen could only stare.
His pounding heart finally calmed down. Instead, his anxiety was replaced by something else.
Awe… he was in complete awe.
All his years he had lived he had never seen such a beautiful sight.
The young man barefoot standing in a beautiful forest hugging an otherworldly stag.
It was a sight to behold.
His hear started to pound loudly in his ears.
A strange feeling that he had never felt before started to overwhelm him. The feeling of wanting to be close to Skyy. Wanting to be the one hugged. To feel that embrace himself…
Skyy looked so happy, completely unaware of the danger around him.
"You like me too, don't you?" Skyy asked with a small laugh as he gently rubbed the stag's neck.
Suddenly, the stag lifted its head letting out a loud cry that echoed through the forest.
Skyy immediately pulled away in surprise. "What happened?"
The stag suddenly turned around and rushed into the forest. Within seconds, it disappeared between the trees. At the same moment, the strange pressure holding Chen's body disappeared.
He stumbled forward, finally able to move again. "Skyy!" He immediately rushed toward him. "What you did was completely stupid! Why did you do that! I asked you to stay inside! I…"
His eyes fell on Skyy's shimmering ones. "Did you see that, Chen? I touched him! He felt so soft and was so sweet." He excitedly giggled. "he's so pretty!
Chen who was rushing to him paused. "y-yeah… you are," he whispered without realising it.
"Huh? I meant the animal silly." Skyy giggled.
Chen rubbed his heated cheeks awkwardly. "G-get back inside. It's not safe here..." he walked away hurriedly.
Suddenly there was another snap behind him. Turning around hiding his shyness he refused to look his way.
"Skyy you better not run around …"
Something moved behind Skyy.
At first, he thought it was just the trees moving in the wind. Then the green moss covering one of the trees suddenly shifted. A large mass of vines and moss slowly dislodged itself from the tree.
Chen's eyes widened in horror.
It wasn't part of the tree.
It was a zombie. A level four zombie.
The creature had been hiding in plain sight, its entire body covered with thick green vines and moss so perfectly that it had looked just like another part of the forest.
"Skyy!"
Chen screamed rushing towards him.
The zombie suddenly lunged forward.
Skyy didn't even have enough time to turn around before the creature slammed into him and pushed him hard onto the ground.
"Ah!" Skyy cried out as his body hit the moss.
"SKYY!" Chen ran toward him as fast as he could, but the zombie was already on top of him. His wind powers awakened in his palms. But at such a close rang it could rally hurt Skyy.
Skyy struggled desperately as the creature grabbed his arm. "Chen!"
His frightened voice made Chen's heart clench.
"No! no no… no no!!"
The zombie opened its mouth and before Chen could reach them, it suddenly sank its teeth into Skyy's arm.
Skyy screamed.
Chen felt his entire body go cold as he watched the blood begin to stain Skyy's arm.
"SKYY!"
