Dragon Genesis: I Can Create Dragons

Chapter 666: How strong are you right now?

"You really want to have a go!?"

Elira glared at Kael, Kael however, did not stand back.

"Come at me, I’ve been wanting to punch you for a while now."

He spoke with a grin, then, as if he thought about something—

His grin widened.

"And while we are at it, how about we make a bet?

It just so happens, I don’t have a maid right now."

"You..."

Elira’s expression changed as she remembered her shameful past.

"You really have gotten more daring, haven’t you!?"

"I only want my wife."

Kael answered directly, still not leaving Lavinia’s hand.

"No! You can’t have her! She is too good to be with a monkey like you!"

"That may be true but..."

Kael momentarily paused, then, he pulled Lavinia close to him, with his strength, it was so easy that Elira too, was pulled with Lavinia.

Kael ignored her, he only focused on his Lavinia, then, as if making a statement, he sealed Lavinia’s lips.

And Elira—

"!!!"

She widened her eyes in surprise.

"Y-You! Move away—"

She shouted but then her eyes widened even further when Lavinia actually placed her hand on Kael’s neck, pulling him closer, clearly accepting and even responding to the kiss.

After a good, long kiss, Kael finally separated, then, still placing his hand around Lavinia’s waist, he looked at Elira and—

"Still have any complaints, maid?"

He asked with a victorious grin and Elira...

She only stared at him, then at Lavinia, who was clearly standing with him, then back at Kael again.

"How did you pull her...?"

She asked.

"I pulled him."

Lavinia corrected.

"I proposed."

She announced. Kael wanted to blink at those words.

When did that happen?

However, since Lavinia was saying it, he simply decided to follow it. He would support her with anything she wanted.

Not to mention he was very much enjoying the sight of Elira losing her mind in real time.

"What...?"

The Mage asked, unable to believe what she just heard.

"I asked Kael to marry me, I fell in love with him first."

Lavinia answered with a smile and Elira...

She looked at her friend, at the most beautiful woman in the world, then back at Kael and she...

She bowed her head.

"Teach me your ways, sensei!"

"How do you even know that word?"

Kael couldn’t help but ask.

"It’s in the book I read."

"That Supreme Harem whatever?"

"It’s Supreme Harem God System!"

Elira corrected.

"See? This is the reason I don’t understand how you pulled her. You don’t even recognise peak."

She snorted.

Kael just shrugged.

"That’s because I use my brain when it matters."

"Clearly."

Elira snorted as she looked at Lavinia.

Then, she looked at the two for a while, for a moment, she stopped with all her overreactions and only looked at them.

"You two look happy together."

She spoke with a genuine smile on her face.

"We are."

Kael smiled and Lavinia nodded.

"It makes me glad."

Elira smiled.

"Two people I like the most are together."

"Awww, are you saying you like me?"

Kael grinned and the very next instant, Elira’s mouth twitched.

"No, I was talking about Lavinia. I like her so much that she is both the first and the second on my list! You have a problem with that!?"

"Yes, only I can like Lavinia."

Kael spoke, pulling Lavinia close to him.

"Hah?"

Elira narrowed her eyes.

"I’ll keep liking her, what are you going to do?"

"Hmph! I’ll tell her not to talk to you then!"

"As if she would listen!"

Elira snorted confidently and the next moment, both Kael and Lavinia stared at her. That made her blink.

Her confidence faltered for a second, then, she looked at Lavinia and—

"You won’t, right?"

"..."

Lavinia didn’t say anything.

She didn’t have to, the answer was very obvious.

"You..."

Elira couldn’t believe it.

She looked at Kael and—

"What spell did you use on her? Teach me as well!"

"It’s a very secret spell, I don’t spill my secrets."

Kael shrugged. Lavinia only stared at him with a deadpan look on her face, Elira on the other hand, felt her mouth twitch.

"I taught you when you knew nothing!"

"I am very grateful for that."

"And you can’t even teach me this!?"

"What if you steal Lavinia from me?"

"I will never do i—"

Elira wanted to deny it but who was she kidding?

She would.

So she paused.

That made Kael blink.

"Wait, you actually would...?"

Then, he thought about it a little more and—

"Well, you are single despite being so old..."

Elira’s mouth twitched when she heard those words. The air around her turned warm, Kael however, didn’t realise it, he dug even deeper.

"Most women your age are already expecting their second child, while you on the other hand, have a childlike mind."

"You..."

Elira boiled with anger.

Flicker

She once again summoned her giant fireball, ready to end him, her seven magic circles flared around her but then—

Fwoosh

Once again, the Fireball flickered out and her Magic Circles shattered like they could no longer hold on.

"Oh come on!"

Elira groaned as she looked at Lavinia.

Lavinia only shrugged.

"How do you do that?"

The Fire Mage asked.

"I can’t teach you even if I wanted to."

Lavinia shook her head and she wasn’t lying. No one other than her could do what she was doing.

"Kriiiii!!"

The little fire spirit that only she and Kael could see flew around her excitedly, feeling proud of the fact that she was helping.

"You... really have grown even further huh..."

Elira stared at Lavinia in shock.

Lavinia only smiled.

"How strong are you right now?"

Elira questioned curiously and honestly, Lavinia couldn’t exactly answer that. She was strong, very strong actually.

A normal Seventh Circle Mage was not her match, honestly, even Eighth or Ninth Circle Mages won’t be her match just that...

She didn’t have Bonds now.

That made her vulnerable.

Though for now—

"Well, that doesn’t matter, now does it?"

Lavinia only smiled.
