Endless Leveling Done Right!

Chapter 764: What Is Your Favorite Position?

At the eastern side of the Kingdom of Faelarun...

"Have you seen Efa?" Cairo asked Elaine, who had returned to their meeting place.

"No." Elaine shook her head. "I looked everywhere, but she’s nowhere to be found."

A sigh escaped Cairo’s lips as he aimed his gaze to the northwest. Due to his wanderings, he already recognized that they were currently at a forest in the Kingdom of Faelarun.

Though, with one of his group members gone, he didn’t know if they should keep looking or head northwest, where he believed the capital city of the elves was located.

Of course, Elaine was also very worried about Efa. However, she was confident that wherever she was, she would be safe with her abilities.

In fact, Efa’s survival instincts were higher than Elaine’s, and it was easy for her to also move stealthily due to her Job Class as a Shadow Scout.

But just as the two were thinking of what to do, they heard the sound of footsteps heading in their direction.

Cairo and Elaine reflexively took out their swords and readied themselves for battle.

They exchanged a glance with each other before nodding at the same time. Since they had been traveling together, they had made several battle tactics when dealing with enemies.

Elaine would focus on catching their opponent’s attention, while Cairo went in for the kill.

By the time both of them were about to launch an attack, the owners of their footsteps finally made their appearance.

"Brother?" Lavinia looked relieved after seeing that the presence she felt was from her older brother.

The dwarf standing beside her also lowered her gauntleted fists, recognizing Cairo and Elaine as friends.

Of course, this dwarf was none other than Fran. She appeared in the same place as Lavinia when they cleared the First Trial.

Since then, both of them had been working together to find their other friends so they could complete this trial together.

"Who is the person you love the most?" Cairo asked.

The Catkin didn’t break his fighting stance because there was always a chance that the one in front of him was not his sister.

This wasn’t the first time he had encountered monsters that could change their appearance and preyed on the feelings of their targets, lowering their guards in the process.

"It’s Alex Stratos," Lavinia replied without hesitation.

Thanks to her brother’s question, she remembered one of the life lessons that he taught her.

"If you ever meet someone you know in a place where they shouldn’t appear, make sure to ask them questions first. If they can’t answer, it is likely that they are monsters in disguise."

"I have a question too!" Elaine shouted. "What is your favorite position?"

"It’s missio—hey! What kind of question are you asking me?!" Lavinia complained with a beet-red face.

Elaine grinned mischievously at her words before giving her reply. "What are you talking about? I was asking you if your favorite position in a party is the vanguard, support, or rearguard. If anything, you were the one who answered strangely."

Lavinia could only cover her face in embarrassment. Meanwhile, a blush also appeared on Fran’s face.

If Elaine had asked her this question a few months ago, then Fran might say "sleeping sideways."

After all, that was her favorite position when sleeping on the bed.

But now, she would have a different answer.

However, her answer was so embarrassing that she didn’t dare think about it right now.

Cairo finally sheathed his blade after confirming that the lady in front of him was indeed his sister, Lavinia.

He then walked over and flicked her forehead, making the young lady cry out in pain.

"Ow!" Lavinia rubbed the spot that was hit. "What was that for?"

"For falling into Elaine’s trap," Cairo answered with a sigh. "You really need to stop answering questions before thinking."

Elaine chuckled in response because she found teasing her future sister-in-law quite fun. Since she was Cairo’s lover, and he had already introduced Elaine to his parents, the deal was as good as done.

Nevertheless, Cairo said that he planned to become the Heaven’s Sword first before he would finally settle down with Elaine.

Elaine didn’t mind this arrangement because she also liked to travel the world alongside Cairo.

For now, she planned to accompany him in his journey to reach the peak of a swordmaster, which was called a Heaven’s Sword by the Catkin tribes.

"It wasn’t my fault," Lavinia complained. "Elaine was being mean."

"Sorry," Elaine admitted. "I just felt like teasing you right now."

She then shifted her attention to Fran before whispering a question in her ear. The question she asked her was the same question she had asked Lavinia earlier.

Fran hesitated for a bit before whispering back to Elaine, which made the latter’s eyes widen in shock.

"I didn’t expect you to prefer that," Elaine grinned. "Does Alex like it too?"

"Yes," Fran replied. "He seems to prefer that position when he’s with me."

"What position?" Lavinia wasn’t able to hold her curiosity in check and moved closer to ask Fran the same question.

Cairo coughed loudly to stop the girls from continuing this conversation. He then gave Elaine a helpless look, which made the latter take a step back before hugging him from behind.

"Have you seen anyone else aside from us?" Cairo didn’t resist the hug, and simply asked Lavinia and Fran this question.

"No." Lavinia shook her head. "We didn’t see anyone along the way. Are you perhaps looking for Efa?"

Fran knew about Efa because Alex told her that there was a time when Efa confessed to him.

However, since he was so fixated on going to the academy to meet his "Queens," he hadn’t given her a definite answer.

When Fran discovered that she was one of Alex’s four Queens, she was very happy with his confession.

That was also the day when she made love to him more passionately.

Because of it, Alex had to go to the infirmary and have the twin nurses check his hips. Without treatment, he’d have trouble walking for days.

It was a very sweet memory, which Fran had tucked away inside her heart.

"I think we should head northwest," Cairo proposed. "That is where Everdawn City is located. Maybe we can find the others there."

Lavinia and Fran nodded in agreement because there was no use staying in this place.

Though just as the four of them were about to leave, they suddenly saw something flying above the trees.

Reverse Vaan had arrived at the eastern part of the Kingdom of Faelarun in a short amount of time.

When his gaze landed on the four people down below, a faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

It was as if he had found a toy that he could play with.

A toy Reverse Alex loved to play with back in their own world.
