We took the private administrative elevators down to the backstage production floor.

The main concert performance was officially over, but the atmosphere backstage was just as chaotic as before, if not more so. Crew members in high-vis vests were rapidly wrapping up heavy optical cables, security guards were clearing VIP corridors, and sound engineers were hauling audio units onto transport carts. Everyone was completely buried under the frantic aftermath of managing the largest live broadcast in human history.

Fortunately, the core operational work was complete, which meant the lead management team was finally able to take a breath.

I carried Dylan down the main administrative hallway, flanked by Yoona and Val. We stopped outside the lead artist suite, and I gave the dark oak door two firm knocks before pushing it open.

Inside the spacious, dimly lit office, Sarah and Yerin were resting on the plush leather sofas.

The second the door clicked, Yerin’s dark eyes locked onto mine. She didn’t offer a word of greeting. She pushed herself off the sofa, sprinted across the carpet, and launched herself straight into my chest.

FLUMP.

She wrapped her arms and legs around my torso like a clinging koala, burying her face into the crook of my neck. "Seth...!" Yerin purred softly, letting out a long, exhausted sigh of relief. "Hold me for a second... I need your warmth after all that. Your scent completely refreshes my brain."

I let out a low chuckle, holding her under the thighs to keep her steady while balancing Dylan on my shoulder. "Take it easy, goblin. Mind your manners, there’s a kid in the room, you know."

Yerin blinked, pulling her face back from my neck. Only then did she notice Dylan staring at her from my shoulder.

A bright, sheepish flush touched her cheeks, and she slid down to the floor. She reached out, gently patting Dylan’s dark hair with a warm smile. "Hey there, buddy. Did you enjoy the concert?"

Dylan nodded vigorously, his dark eyes shining. "It was the best concert ever, Sis Nova! I danced a lot in the big floating skybox! Big Brother Seth and Miss Valerie danced with me too!"

Yerin smiled and rubbed his cheeks. "I’m glad to hear my little fans were also satisfied."

Sitting in the armchair nearby, Sarah gave a soft, genuine smile. She stood up and stepped over to us. "Look at you, Dylan. You look completely exhausted."

Dylan rubbed his eyes with his fist, letting out a tiny yawn as I set him down. He walked over and wrapped his arms around Sarah’s waist. "My legs feel like jelly, Mom... I danced too much."

Sarah stroked his hair with deep maternal warmth before looking up at us. "He’s completely spent. I’m going to put him to bed in the private resting suite inside the office."

We nodded as Sarah led the sleepy boy into the adjoining bedroom, quietly closing the door behind them.

With Dylan resting, Yerin pulled me over to the main sofa and unashamedly sat straight down across my lap. Yoona took a seat beside us, crossing her legs gracefully, while Val stood near the edge of the couch, her posture relaxed yet attentive.

Yerin pulled out her custom gold tablet and turned on the holographic display to show us the global media metrics. Her excitement was leaking, even though she was also exhausted from the performance.

"Look at this, guys." Yerin grinned, her exhausted face brightening with excitement. "The global feedback is way better than anything Sarah and I projected. We’re officially the number one trending topic worldwide across every single network."

We scrolled through the massive digital storm together.

The internet was completely exploding. Millions of posts flooded the feeds. Some users were praising her pitch-perfect vocal execution, others were raving about the sheer scale of the mid-air floating stadium and the pyrotechnics, while thousands wept over the emotional weight of her farewell ballad. A massive portion of the online fan base was simply simping over her Ethereal Cold Beauty persona.

[MrAyer: Man, she is so beautiful. I melted right there in her voice. Take my money, Nova! Take all of it!]

[Omni Dragon: I’m so envious of her lover. He’s going to hear her call him Hubby and so much more! Gods, why is this world so unfair? That’s it. I’m trading my Soul for a girlfriend like Nova.]

[MrAyer: Do you truly think your soul is enough for that? I’m a freaking billionaire and I’ll sacrifice all my money for her.]

[Omni Dragon: I’ll bet my two balls you ain’t a billionaire.]

The chats were certainly amusing to read. However, reading the last one made my lips twitch. ’Paige, make sure to return any curse I receive.’

Then we hit the trending threads discussing her public declaration of love.

"Oh man..." I laughed as I scrolled through the forum posts. "The theories people are coming up with are absolute gold."

The entire online world had gone into detective mode, trying to unmask the mysterious man who had captured the pop star’s heart.

Some theories were hilarious, one viral post claimed she had fallen in love with a foreign prince who owned an ocean, while another insisted her lover was a secret rogue hunter living in the mountains. Some posts were surprisingly accurate, speculating that the mysterious author of her final two songs was someone from the elite inner circle with high-level security clearance.

They really made me laugh.

Watching the world go crazy but also unite for a purpose like this was both amusing and wholesome.
