It was surprising to see Sarah get flustered, even if she composed herself well. Still, I could understand her but also knew my mother’s reaction already.

Alice stood up, waving her hand with a warm, gentle smile. "Oh, please stand up, dear. There is nothing to apologize for. As a mother who spent decades searching for her own son, I completely understand the panic of thinking your child is missing."

Hearing her words, I finally understood the full picture. "Sarah... were you panicking because you couldn’t find Dylan?"

Sarah let out a heavy, embarrassed sigh, adjusting her glasses. "Yes... I had assigned two private security guards to accompany Dylan to his reserved seat in the middle section. When the guards called to report that he wasn’t in his seat, I panicked. I checked the GPS tracker embedded in his phone, saw his location moving straight toward the restricted VIP skyboxes... and I feared one of the high-society VIPs had done something to him. I ran all the way here from backstage."

Dylan looked up at his mother, holding her hand reassuringly. "You didn’t need to worry, Mom! I was with my new friends!"

He proudly pointed toward Val and me. "Big brother Seth and Miss Valerie found me! They’re my friends now, and Big Brother invited me to watch the concert with him in the VIP box! I’m sorry I forgot to text you first..."

Sarah looked at her son, her tense expression melting into a soft, affectionate smile. "It’s alright, baby. Just promise you’ll always inform me first next time."

"I promise!" Dylan grinned.

Alice walked over, resting a hand on my shoulder as she smiled warmly at Sarah. "Seth, sweetie... aren’t you going to introduce us to your new friends?"

"Right," I said with a smile, stepping forward. "Mom, Dad... this is Sarah. She’s Yerin’s lead manager, a very close friend of ours, and the genius who organized this entire stadium setup. And this little guy is her son, Dylan, my new little buddy."

BUZZ... BUZZ...

Right on cue, Sarah’s phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out, checked the backstage caller ID, and let out a quick, professional sigh before hanging up.

"I am so sorry, Lady Alice," Sarah said, bowing politely once more. "Production is calling me back to the main stage. I must return to my duties immediately."

Alice smiled warmly, gesturing toward Dylan. "You go ahead and focus on the concert, Sarah. Leave Dylan here with us! He’ll be completely safe, and we’d love to have him watch the show in our skybox."

Sarah looked at Alice, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you so much, Lady Alice. I truly appreciate your kindness."

"Don’t fret over it. You handle our baby daughter," Alice smiled. "We are thankful for everything you’ve done for her. Truly, handling her is incredibly hard."

"She’s a sweet child," Sarah replied with a fond smile. "Just a bit impulsive but I like that about her too. In any case, I’ll see you later."

With a quick, loving squeeze of Dylan’s shoulder, Sarah turned and hurried back out the door to manage the backstage madness.

As the skybox door clicked shut, Yoona quietly slid over to my side.

She leaned her head close to my shoulder, her soft crimson hair brushing against my neck as her sweet scent filled my nose.

"So, Seth..." Yoona whispered in a dangerously smooth, playful tone right into my ear, her dark eyes sparkling with wicked amusement. "...are you planning on banging Sarah, too?"

I froze dead in my tracks.

I turned my head slowly to look at Yoona, whose face was illuminated by a completely shameless, playful smirk.

A massive, exasperated sigh escaped my lips as I buried my face in my hand, mentally shaking my head in defeat. ’Yep... there is zero doubt about it. She really is Yerin’s identical twin sister.’

...

The interior of our floating VIP skybox was the definition of peak luxury.

Fronting the platform was a massive wall of crystal-clear, noise cancellation glass that provided a sweeping, panoramic view of the entire open-air arena. Inside, plush leather sofas were arranged around low marble tables stacked with high-end snacks, fresh fruits, and sparkling beverages.

Ambient runic lighting glowed along the ceiling, complete with a private audio system that could either amplify the roaring stadium crowd or transform the room into an exclusive lounge.

Everyone settled in comfortably as the atmosphere outside reached a fever pitch.

Sitting on the main sofa near the glass window, Mom had taken complete possession of little Dylan. She had him sitting on her lap, constantly feeding him strawberry pastries and wiping his cheeks with a silk napkin, showering him with her maternal affection.

I leaned back against an armchair nearby, taking a sip of fresh juice as I watched the two of them with a dry, amused smirk. "So... Mom. Should I just assume I’ve been completely replaced by a younger model?"

Alice paused her pastry-feeding, rolling her dark eyes playfully at me. "Oh, hush, Seth! You are completely irreplaceable, and you know it!"

From his seat across the table, Julian took a calm sip of his drink, a faint, rare smirk touching his lips as he looked at me. "Your mother simply missed out on your childhood years, Seth. She never got the chance to fuss over a young child, so she is taking full advantage of the opportunity."

I let out a low chuckle, winking at Dylan. "Looks like Mom got a direct, updated version of a kid."

Dylan looked up from his pastry, his dark eyes shining with innocent sincerity as he offered me a bright, beaming grin. "It’s okay, Big Brother Seth! We can share her love... just like we shared that chocolate bar at the vending machine!"

Αwww!

Alice practically gasped, clutching her heart as a wave of affection washed over her face. "Oh, he is so precious! I can’t take it!"

She immediately pulled Dylan into another doting hug, making the rest of us, Julian, Val, Yoona, and me, burst into warm, genuine laughter. Having Dylan in the skybox had softened the room completely, turning what could have been a stiff high-society viewing into a cozy family gathering.
