Victor, Amber, Rina, and Valerie, along with Lilith, teleported directly into a completely desolate desert with no buildings or any structure in sight except for a few trees.

"I hate deserts." Amber frowned, feeling the intense heat. The high temperature was directly opposite to her Ice Bloodline, which made her the most uncomfortable in a desert.

Victor did not say anything and just brought out his key, and his eyes widened as he said, "The key has changed?"

The key, which had just been vibrating slowly, now had a stranger vibration, but the most eye-catching sight was the black mist seeping out of the key.

"Urgh, how much longer? We haven’t encountered a single monster yet, and I knew it—we should have gone the other way," Amber said with a grumble as her forehead beaded with sweat, which she wiped off. They had been walking for hours but found no signs of monsters, only endless deserts.

"Don’t be impatient. I have a gut feeling we will encounter other lifeforms soon," Victor mumbled as he kept walking at the front. The key he had was emitting eerie black smoke as he kept walking in this direction for hours; that meant he was going in the correct direction.

"He is right. The map we got also shows this direction would indeed lead us to what seems to be a castle soon," Valerie said with a frown as she had the map open in her hands and was checking it continuously as they walked.

After walking for a few more minutes, Victor stopped when he saw small bodies of water in front of them.

"Huh, it’s not water. What is this slimy stuff?" Rina said in disgust as she knelt down and dipped her hand into what she thought was water, but instead, a slimy substance coated her palm as she retracted her hand.

"Get back," Victor said suddenly as his danger sense flared up, and Rina, without hesitation, jumped backwards along with the others.

The entire ground started shaking as a worm-like black creature emerged from underneath the ground, and the small, round water bodies were the openings of their mouths.

"Damn, was that their saliva?" Rina said with disgust and horror as she washed her hands again from a bottle of water.

Victor did not respond to the rumblings and just used his pupil technique on the worm that was pitch black in color.

"This...is bad." Valerie broke out in a cold sweat when she saw the scene in front of her. There were at least hundreds of Night Warworms in front of her, with hundreds of small, sharp teeth inside their mouths.

"Should we run?" Valerie said in a whisper, but was surprised as none of them were afraid one bit. Instead, she saw the look of someone looking at ants. She could not help but ask, "Why are you not afraid?"

"Afraid? Why would I be? I have backup," Victor said as he patted Lilith on his shoulder. "Lilith, go deal with them."

Hearing this, Valerie’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets and she was even more speechless when Lilith listened and said haughtily, "Miss Lilith will take care of them."

Lilith strutted confidently and stood right in front of the gigantic, worm-like creatures. Their mouths dripped with slimy liquid as their eyeless heads turned towards Lilith.

It was an almost bizarre scene, seeing a small cat stand up to such gigantic beasts.

"Miss Lilith does not like worms. They taste bad, bleh...why couldn’t it be guard rats?" Lilith said with a scrunched-up look on her small face. Victor’s lips twitched when he heard her words and thought, ’Just how much does this cat love to hunt and eat rats?’

’What the hell...why is she talking about cats?’ Valerie screamed inwardly as she ran her hand through her long hair and looked at Victor with bewilderment.

"Are you crazy? Why are you sending your cat to fight? Your pet will die!" Valerie said in panic and wanted to just run away immediately, but did not, as her instincts stopped her and she felt she was going to miss seeing something mind-boggling if she left.

"Miss Lilith is going to start." Electricity formed on her small paws, and the next moment, she dashed towards the giant worms. She did not use all her powers, as Victor said not to until there were emergencies and she could not beat an enemy.

The other worms sensed Lilith approaching them and felt various emotions. They could not believe that a small creature would attack them so brazenly and felt waves of fury...but before they could move, the one that was about to charge towards her split in half, and it did not stop there, as Lilith moved around the beasts like a small and nimble ghost, slicing and killing them with ease.

"Hmm, Miss Lilith did a good job." Lilith nodded with satisfaction as she cleaned her bloodied paw and walked towards Victor for praise.

"Miss Lilith killed those ugly beasts." Lilith said, hopping onto Victor’s shoulder again.

"Miss Lilith is amazing," Victor said.

"Of course," Lilith said, raising her chin upwards.

Victor turned his head to look at Valerie, who was staring at Lilith with an open mouth like she was some creature from another world, which was true in a sense.

"You should close your mouth," Victor said with an amused smile on his face.

Valerie snapped out of her daze and pointed a trembling finger at Lilith. "What on Earth is she?"

Valerie was completely shaken. She was sure that other than Faceless, the next target should be the harmless-looking cat on Victor’s shoulder, or whatever it was. She was sure that not even Olivia could defeat Lilith currently.

"Just a cat," Victor said with a smile.

He could understand her reaction. If he were in her place, he would also react with this same level of disbelief. He had no option other than using Lilith. If he killed the Warworms, which should be impossible for him at Tier 0, Valerie would realize he was above Tier 0, and the only person who was known to be capable of such a feat was Faceless, and he would get exposed.

"Hehe, just a cat." Valerie gave out a fake laugh and cursed inwardly, ’No wonder he is not afraid of entering the dungeon.’

"It’s taking too long, wait..." Amber said as she created a large bird made up of Black Ice and looked at the group and said, "Hop on, this will be faster."

Except for Valerie, who stayed behind seeing this, Victor and Rina hopped onto the bird, followed by Valerie, who exclaimed, "Woah, it’s so cold. If I did not use mana to cover myself, I would have gotten frostbite."

"We have been flying for hours and still no sign of the castle. Let’s camp here," Amber said with a groan of frustration.

"Let’s camp for the day. It’s already been so long since we started flying," Valerie suggested as Amber nodded and landed the ice bird.

"There’s no need to rush. We have weeks out here. I’ll set up the camp," Valerie said.

"Okay."

As for the tent, it was a small box. She had gained this special drop in the game. All she needed to do was press a single button on the box, and it would transform into a tent and vice versa.

After setting up the camp, Valerie activated the concealment magic as well as the viewing function for the tent, which made the walls inside the tent transparent, allowing the group to see the situation outside their camp without needing to go outside. However, if one were to look at them from the outside, they wouldn’t be able to see the interior.
