As for the tent, it was a small box. She had gained this special drop in the game. All she needed to do was press a single button on the box, and it would transform into a tent and vice versa.

After setting up the camp, Valerie activated the concealment magic as well as the viewing function for the tent, which made the walls inside the tent transparent, allowing the group to see the situation outside their camp without needing to go outside. However, if one were to look at them from the outside, they wouldn’t be able to see the interior.

The group went inside the tent and saw that there was not much difference compared to normal tents, except it was more spacious and luxurious and had a few special built-in magical abilities like controlling heat, light, etc.

"Let’s eat, shall we?" Rina said to everyone with a clap of her hands, and they nodded their heads.

Rina then quietly pulled out various high-quality foods from her storage space, which had a time-freeze function so that the food did not age.

After eating, Victor went to take a quick shower before preparing his sleeping bag to sleep outside.

After he freshened up, he looked at the girls and said, "I am going to sleep outside; it’s appropriate to stay with you all."

Victor said as his gaze paused on Valerie for a second before he left the tent.

As he lay on the floor inside his sleeping bag, Victor stared at the starry night that was flickering with countless stars.

"What a beautiful sight." Victor mumbled in a dazed voice as his gaze was fixated on the sky. This was his first time seeing so many stars at once when suddenly he was disturbed by a familiar sound.

"Huh?" Victor’s eyebrows shot up at the sudden notification, and he hurriedly checked his inventory, and sure enough, the monster cores related to darkness were all gone.

’Why only the darkness cores?’ Victor thought, frowning. There were many cores with higher mana concentrations, but it did not take any of them, and he concluded, ’Maybe it needs the darkness-related cores...maybe for evolution.’

Victor did not think anymore as he brought out his key and said, "The key changed again."

The key, which had previously had the eye-catching sight of black mist seeping out of it, was nowhere to be seen, but instead, it seemed like the key had absorbed all the mist, and a small part of the key had turned black.

"This must be the evolution or completion," Victor muttered and guessed. Perhaps he would need for the key to turn completely black to reach 100% completion, which was needed to open some kind of passage to the world of devils.

Victor then put down the key, tossed it back into his inventory, and closed his eyes, not before looking down at his shadow and saying in a low voice, "All of you, spread out and form a perimeter, and if any monster or human tries to enter the perimeter, you are to kill them."

Next Morning

The gang was dressed up and ready to resume their exploration, and just as Amber was about to summon her ice bird, Valerie shrieked, "Who killed them?"

Valerie said shakily as she pointed into the distance, and Victor followed her finger and saw a small mountain... mountain? No, those were corpses of Magical Beasts, and he even recognized a few humans among them who seemed to carry ill intent.

"Sir Victor, while you were sleeping, they came to steal from or kill you, so Miss Lilith killed them." Everyone’s eyes slowly turned towards the mischievous cat who had just spoken as if she was reading the time.

Everyone’s lips started twitching when they heard her words. Finally, Victor leaned down and picked Lilith up onto his shoulder and slipped away without allowing anyone to speak.

Over the next several hours, Amber would see many flying monsters related to darkness in the distance, most of them traveling in packs.

Whenever monsters got too close to their tent, Amber’s bird would summon a few ice warriors made of black ice to deal with the monsters without needing to leave the tent.

After about an hour of flying, they finally spotted the large castle which was on the horizon.

"We are here," Amber said as she ordered the ice bird to land.

In front of them was a pitch-black castle that had red glowing lines on it. It looked completely eerie and felt like it was haunted. Victor could feel that there were many lifeforms related to darkness inside the castle.

"Let’s go," Victor said after pausing for a few seconds as he looked at the girls, who nodded their heads in agreement.

They walked for a few minutes before they arrived in front of the large gates.

"I will go first to enter," Victor suggested as he pushed his hands against the door of the castle. As soon as his hands touched it, the glowing lines shone brighter, and Victor vanished from his place.

Victor saw only darkness as he found himself within the castle. He didn’t feel as though he was still in the dungeon, but rather in a dimensional space created within the dungeon by the Dungeon.

Pure darkness and emptiness were all he could see at that moment, until it began to materialize, creating an even darker space around him. Victor finally felt himself touching the surface of a floor when suddenly he sensed a gaze from afar, far beyond what his eyes could perceive in that darkness. In his mind, he could see the figure of a knight clad in gilded armor, as if observing him and awaiting his arrival.

"Who is that?" Victor murmured, frowning as he saw the entire place begin to materialize completely. He now found himself in a straight corridor lined with large pillars, with suits of armor stationed at each one or standing in a saluting position.

The flames began to burn in braziers mounted on the walls, illuminating the entire area. Victor now had a full view of the corridor.

"Where am I... This dungeon is different from the last one..." he murmured, fascinated, looking around for a while. Determined to move forward, he took his first step. This dungeon was far more organized than the first one he had explored.

The previous one resembled a cave or an apocalyptic city; this place, however, seemed to be some sort of medieval castle corridor. There was no apparent threat until he approached the first suit of armor. As soon as he touched the one in front of him, both the armor on the right and the one on the left, positioned beside the pillars, began to move.

The suits of armor lifted their heads, turning toward him. Following their lead, all the other suits of armor along the corridor activated as well. They drew their swords from their initial positions and advanced toward him, preparing to strike.

"I see... So, my enemies this time are knights..." Victor commented, his hands empty, as he readied himself to test them first.

He waited for the knight on the right to attack. The knight raised its sword and launched a vertical slash at him. Victor skillfully dodged and then delivered a direct punch to the armor. The impact was strong enough that it dented the suit, sending it several meters backward, though it was not immediately defeated as Victor did not use his full strength.

The punch knocked the knight’s helmet off the armor, revealing nothing inside but emptiness filled with a large amount of black smoke. The rest of the armor fell to its knees before collapsing to the floor, its head rolling down the corridor and striking the legs of other knights advancing toward him.

"Well, if that’s how it’s going to be... Let’s go," Victor said as the knight he had punched earlier was already back on him.

He clashed his fist against the knight’s blade as it charged at him. The knight seemed to struggle to push him back as their fist and blade connected, but Victor held his ground firmly without yielding.

"I am stronger than you!" Victor declared before shoving the knight back and punching it into pieces. The armored body fell lifelessly to the ground.

Meanwhile, more knights were approaching. A multitude of them advanced to attack him.

Victor quickly prepared himself and charged forward, starting to counter them relentlessly.

He struck here and there, using his agility, which far surpassed theirs. Despite being strong and durable, the knights were slow. Victor quickly began to take them down one by one.

The last head fell to the ground as Victor surveyed the group of 30 defeated knights. Their armor was riddled with fatal blows, and their bodies lay motionless on the floor.

"The first group is done," he murmured before turning around to see the girls suddenly teleport to him.
