"Looks like I need to defeat you first," Victor’s eyes narrowed as black lightning flickered across his body. He could go all out without restraint, as Valerie was unconscious now.

"My soldiers, take them far away from the fight and guard them, Lilith." As Victor’s voice fell, his shadow ripped open, and shadow wolves emerged from it. They obeyed him as they lifted them with their mouths and carried them away.

"You can count on Miss Lilith, Sir Victor," Lilith said as she also backed away.

"Now, let’s begin," Victor said as white armor covered his body, and he charged towards the knight, and the knight also dashed towards Victor.

Bang

Back at the tent, everyone was watching the Guardian Knight standing near the throne room move, and Lance, who was watching this, cursed, "Damn, that knight is also participating."

He gritted his teeth and was about to teleport to the nearest place to them to help them escape when he saw the knight launching some kind of mental attack to knock the girls down, and then, the next moment, all of them vanished from where they were.

Other than higher tiers, the only ones which could have higher stats than him at the same level were Territory Lords.

’It makes sense. I mean, this knight is a peak Tier 4,’ Victor said, and then his eyes hardened as he activated his special Bloodline power and converted all his stats into physical strength, speed, and defense, leaving only a few points in his other stats.

He could feel his body overflowing with strength and lunged forward towards the knight, who also responded in kind.

This time, Victor was overwhelming the knight as he pushed it back a few meters before his body tensed as he exclaimed, "What?!"

"Sir Victor, you need to attack the door. It’s providing energy to the knight. If you attack it, you will disrupt the flow of dark energy, and it will become weaker!" Lilith, who had been protecting the girls, moved towards him and shouted.

"Door?" Victor was about to scold Lilith for leaving the girls who were unconscious, but paused when he heard her words and looked at the gate. Sure enough, there was a faint glow and traces of dark aura leaking from it.

"Watch out!" Victor shouted when he saw the knight move towards Lilith.

"Moonlight Steps!" Victor used his movement skill while turning into lightning, and within a second, moved in front of Lilith, blocking the attack.

He poured the remaining stats into strength and overpowered the knight, pushing it backwards several meters before the Knight stopped its momentum by planting its feet into the ground.

Before he could resume attacking, Victor activated his technique, "Moonlight Slash!"

A sword arc left his Jörmungandr Sword, and before the Knight could stop it, the arc struck the door.

As soon as the strike landed on the door, the knight fell onto one knee, and Victor saw large amounts of black mist erupt from its body.

"Chance!" Victor’s eyes glinted as he raised his hand, redistributed the stats properly, and launched multiple Black Lightning Spears.

Small explosions occurred as the Lightning Spears struck the Knight, and despite it blocking some of the spears with its sword, it was flung backwards and became embedded in the ground.

"See, Miss Lilith was right. As long as you interrupt the flow of dark aura, he will get weaker," Lilith bounced excitedly as she smugly looked at Victor.

"You are right." Victor gave a malicious smile and grasped the hilt of his sword.

He turned into lightning and shot into the sky, then activated one skill after another.

"Gravity Manipulation 10x"

A phantom of the moon appeared behind Victor, and moonlight coated his blade, followed by black lightning and blue flames that wrapped around his sword, with a tinge of purple venom on his blade as he descended towards the Knight with ten times the force, like a meteor.

BOOOOM

A huge explosion occurred, which shook the entire place.

"Heh." Victor smirked as he saw the knight glaring at him with his sword embedded into the door. At the very last second, when he saw the knight dodge his attack, he changed his target to the door, which remained unscathed, but the knight had become significantly weaker. It had dropped from a peak Tier 4 powerhouse to a peak Tier 3 Magical Beast.

"Moonlight Barrage!" Victor shouted as he started waving his sword, and hundreds of slashes left his sword and flew toward the knight.

The knight saw this, but its power had been diminished significantly, and it only managed to dodge a few before it was struck several times. The sword arcs seemed like a blender that wanted to turn it into hundreds of pieces.

Victor watched coldly as the knight was sliced into hundreds of pieces and could not show any form of resistance. Then, a message appeared on his retina.

[You have killed the Guardian Knight of Darkness]

"I thought I would have to go all out, but I would never have expected it to have such a weakness." While Victor was musing, suddenly, the whole place started to shake violently.

"What the hell?" Victor cursed as he sharply turned his head towards the humongous door, and the door started to split from the middle, revealing a large keyhole.

The key, which was in his pocket, shot out and hovered in front of the door.

"This key is too small... Is the door not the correct passage to the World of Devils?" Victor muttered with a raised eyebrow, but before he could process his thoughts, the key, which was hovering, shot towards the dismembered corpse of the knight and started greedily sucking up all the dark-attributed mana. After a few minutes, the key had turned pitch black.

"What!" Victor exclaimed when the key started to enlarge in size and grew to the size of the keyhole, automatically resizing itself to fit the keyhole, and then...

The sound of the door opening rang out, and the key completely disintegrated into ashes.

Bang

The next moment, the door flung wide open, and Victor whispered, "It’s open."

Victor leaned forward and could only see pitch-black darkness beyond the door.

The next moment, he felt a chill run down his spine and shouted, "Lilith, hurry, get into my shadow!"

Victor shouted as he moved towards the girls who were lying unconscious and shoved Lilith inside his shadow.

"Shit," Victor cursed when a huge otherworldly hand made up of pure darkness shot out from the door and grabbed everyone. As soon as it touched Victor, he fell unconscious as the hand pulled them to the other side of the door.

"Ugh." Victor opened his eyes groggily and frowned as he looked at his hand. His jaw dropped to the ground, and he exclaimed, "Why the hell am I handcuffed?"
