Evolution Online: My 10,000× Reward System Multiplies Everything
Chapter 54: That Sniper… is a Divine Tier Weapon? The water swords crackling with lightning bolts didn’t show any mercy as they tore through the winged beasts, cleanly severing their heads from their bodies, but what happened next shocked Kaelen.

Kaelen was surprised to find out that the system’s rewards weren’t restricted to Evolution Online and extended anywhere across the world.
He’d be rewarded for grinding anywhere he was.
The system wasn’t just designed for the game alone. It was bound to Kaelen, with the sole purpose of setting him on a path to godhood. This realization made Kaelen excited and even more confident.
President Hunter and the rest of the crew watched through the windows as Kaelen easily decimated the threat, and each time a sword mistakenly hit the plane, it didn’t damage it but turned into a pool of water.
’Absolute control.’ President Hunter mused to himself, beyond impressed.
He didn’t know when his fear dissipated, and suddenly the journey ahead felt easy and achievable with Kaelen in their midst.
’This kid... I don’t know if he’s more like his father or mother. A family of monsters... the Emperor really messed with the wrong family this time.’
Kaelen, unaware of President Hunter’s thoughts, didn’t spare a single beast and didn’t let any get away either. And after there were none left, he recalled his two Talents just as the clouds brightened once more and a rainbow appeared in the sky like a sign of peace after an ancient god had decided to show mercy on the mortal realm.
Except that god... was Kaelen.
"Impressive," President Hunter said with a genuine smile. "You’ve proven to me once more why you should never be underestimated." He praised.
Kaelen was just about to reply when a terrified scream echoed from the cockpit, and the jet jerked violently and plunged downwards.
He exchanged looks with President Hunter before they rushed towards the cockpit, which had its doors swinging violently.
The air hostess was on the floor, grabbing onto something with a terrified look on her face, and she pointed towards the open cockpit as soon as the two men arrived.
They both stepped into the small space and immediately frowned at the sight before them.
The two pilots were slumped in their seats with a bullet hole in their heads. One was slumped over the control lever, pushing it down and making the jet plunge. But President Hunter quickly noticed this and lifted the switch, immediately stabilizing the plane at mid-altitude.
"There’s an imposter in our midst. One of the air hostesses has to be an assassin!" President Hunter roared as he turned to face the two women and one man left on the plane.
Their bodies immediately turned rigid as President Hunter began interrogating them.
But Kaelen was more focused on the deaths of the pilots and didn’t let rage consume him. That was when he picked up a few minor details President Hunter had missed.
There was a bullet hole on either side of the windshield where each pilot sat. At first glance, one might think that was where the bullets exited from after the assassin shot the two pilots in the head, but that story wasn’t adding up.
This was supposed to be military-grade reinforced glass, and not only were there no gunshots heard, why would the assassin use a gun to kill instead of using their Talents or abilities? And even if they didn’t have a Talent that could kill easily, any full-fledged assassin should be a Tier 3 at least, making them able to harness their in-game abilities and mana.
A blade reinforced with mana would do a clean job, and was the go-to method for most assassins according to his research.
Kaelen shifted his focus to the clean bullet holes on the windshield that didn’t even leave a dent or scratch around the hole. Weak firepower couldn’t do this, and if this assassin had carried a powerful rifle inside the plane, they should’ve been spotted immediately.
Another thing Kaelen noticed was that the two holes corresponded in a straight line. That could be a coincidence, or it could also be that the bullet never came from inside.
One bullet, two bodies, in and out the other side.
But at that altitude, even the most powerful sniper in the world wouldn’t be able to achieve that from the ground, because Kaelen could clearly detect there was no enemy in sight.
That was when something flashed through his mind. During the beast invasion, when a sharp light he thought might have looked like a sniper scope caught his vision, but the distance was simply impossible to achieve.
Kaelen’s pupils constricted at that moment.
There was no imposter.
There was only a mysterious sniper from the wasteland, trying to take down their jet.
"President Hunter?" He immediately called out, but turned to see the male attendant suddenly bolt after the president mentioned something about a scorpion’s tattoo.
That immediately rang a bell in Kaelen’s head, but he didn’t have time to dwell on it when the man quickly grabbed a parachute and pulled the plane’s door open. He was suddenly blasted back, knocking into the opposite wall and slumping to the floor.
The door he had partially opened swung wide with full force, and his body was sucked out into oblivion.
President Hunter, who had his hands outstretched towards the man, looked at his hands in confusion before turning to look at Kaelen.
"I didn’t do that."
"I know."
Boom—
The jet suddenly shook violently as an explosion broke its left wing and propeller, and the plane plunged downwards once more, sending everyone into the air.
Kaelen was the first to quickly stabilize himself when President Hunter created a gravitational field around the plane that suspended it in the air.
"I think we’re under attack," President Hunter quickly said.
"I know. How long can you keep this up?" Kaelen asked, his tone calm.
"Much longer. But we can’t stay here. I know a bit about aerodynamics and can try to stabilize the jet at a low altitude with only a single wing. I think we can make it if we don’t get hit again," President Hunter said confidently.
Kaelen nodded once. "Do that. I’ll try to know where the attacks are coming from, and if I can’t kill them, I’ll distract them long enough for you to get this jet out of here."
President Hunter nodded in understanding. He didn’t know how Kaelen planned on doing that, but one thing he knew was never to underestimate the boy.
He quickly disappeared into the cockpit, and Kaelen headed straight for the open jet’s door, using his eyes to scan for the familiar reflection of a scope.
The sharp light suddenly came from a building down below in the wasteland, and Kaelen locked onto that as he jumped out of the jet and activated the Reaping Angels Wings.
He wasn’t scared of getting hit like the pilots or the bounty hunters.
After all, the enemy was using a weapon of the old world. A gun. And no matter how guns were manufactured now, it was simply impossible for them to make even a dent on a Tier 9 lifeform...
Bang—
Kaelen hadn’t heard the gunshot, but the ringing in his ears was loud enough to tell him all he needed to know.
He slowly looked down at the gaping hole in his chest, his eyes widening in shock and disbelief.
It was simply impossible for a gun to make a dent on a Tier 9 lifeform, except, what Kaelen never accounted for was...
’That sniper... is a Divine-Tier weapon...?’
That was the bitter realization Kaelen came to as he plunged down towards the wasteland.
President Hunter’s eyes were also wide with shock and disbelief as he safely escaped the range of attack and disappeared into the distance.
