Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2513: If You Like Her, She’ll Like You

"She’s several months old, born on New Year’s Day," Jasmine Yale said with a happy smile.

"Oh my gosh, you couldn’t tell at all. Miss Yale, you look so young, almost like the girl next door. How do you have a daughter already? I always thought you just graduated from college, around twenty years old."

"You’re flattering me again. The truth is, my daughter is already six months old."

"It’s unbelievable, truly unbelievable," the UT woman exclaimed in amazement.

Jasmine Yale rested her head on her hand, happily chatting, and even showed her photos of Little Clementine.

Just as she held up her phone, Will Caddel walked over again.

"What’s so interesting? Let me take a look too." He squinted, with a hint of alcohol on him, seemingly in a good mood.

Jasmine Yale waved her phone: "My daughter."

"Oh, Little Clementine, right? I asked you to show me before, and you wouldn’t. Now, now you’ll show me?" Will Caddel leaned down.

"I didn’t say I wouldn’t show you, just forgot after mentioning it a few times." Jasmine Yale opened the photo album, "Look, these are all of my daughter."

Her hand slowly flipped through the photos, one after another.

As she scrolled, Will Caddel lowered his head and quietly watched, keeping pace with her finger.

Jasmine Yale had taken many photos of her daughter: smiling, sleeping, staring outside in a daze, holding a little dolphin happily... all kinds.

Having flipped through so many, Jasmine Yale’s finger started to ache.

She laughed and stopped, "That’s about it, nothing much to see."

"Your daughter looks a lot like you—big eyes, little dimples," Will Caddel was captivated, "So cute and pretty."

"Does CEO Caddel like looking at kids?"

"Yes, kids are little angels."

"Not many men like children," Jasmine Yale said.

"Do you have some kind of misunderstanding about men? Hmm?" Will Caddel laughed, "Why can’t men like children?"

"I... just have this subconscious belief."

"That’s a fallacy." Will Caddel’s face was joyful as he leaned closer to Jasmine Yale, "When can I hold her?"

"She’ll kick people; you have to bring her candy."

"Oh? Do you think she’ll like me?"

"If you like her, she’ll like you," Jasmine Yale laughed.

"You’re quite mischievous," Will Caddel was discovering this cute side of Jasmine Yale for the first time—so different from her serious, indifferent work persona.

As she laughed, Will Caddel turned his head, his gaze fixed on her gentle smile.

He asked slowly, "Are you happy tonight?"

"Yes, very happy. I thought it would be boring, but it turned out to be quite fun."

"Then you should smile more often; you’re even prettier when you smile," Will Caddel, with a hint of intoxication, looked at her face, "Glad to hear that, I’m happy too."

Jasmine Yale lifted her head, meeting his deep, serene gaze directly: "CEO Caddel, are you drunk?"

"No, I can hold my drink well."

After speaking, he ruffled her hair and straightened up, "Keep having fun, I’m going out for a smoke."

Will Caddel walked towards the venue’s exit.

Jasmine Yale watched his silhouette disappear from view, only then did she retract her gaze, her eyes shimmering like starlight. Her heart was beating rapidly, full of youthful vigor.
