Gathering Husbands with a System in a Game Like World [BL]
Chapter 65: The presidential suite (smut)"Uhm...excuse me, do you know where we can find inns in this city?" Elias asked the beautiful blonde-haired receptionist.
The woman looked up from her ledger, her eyes briefly flicking over both of them before settling on the A-rank plaque hanging from Kai’s belt. Her expression shifted from polite interest to something more attentive.
"Adventurers actually lodge in the guild owned inns in the city" she said.
"They do? Where are these inns?" Elias said, intrigued.
"The inns are all over the city and for high ranked adventurers like you, the Guild maintains a private inn on the eastern side of the central district," she said.
Kai leaned forward slightly.
"How much better are these inns?"
She smiled.
"You will not be sharing walls with drunk B-ranks arguing about monster parts at three in the morning."
Elias gave a low sound of approval.
"That already sounds perfect."
The receptionist pulled out a small crystal token and a folded map.
"Show this at the entrance. They will know you’re registered. The presidential suites are currently available."
Kai raised an eyebrow.
"Presidential?"
"Yes! Spacious, Private, Reinforced walls. Soundproofing and Bathrooms that actually work."
Elias took the token.
"We’ll take it."
They left the Guild with the map and the crystal, the late afternoon light filtering through the massive trees that lined Veyrhold’s streets. The city really was green. Vines climbed stone walls, gardens spilled into the roads, and the air smelled of earth and growing things rather than the dense, closed-in scent of Ravenport. Kai found himself walking a little slower, taking it in.
After everything that had happened in that city, the simple fact of walking through a place that felt alive instead of dangerous was almost disorienting. He liked it. He liked it enough that the tension he’d been carrying since the moment they left Aster’s office began to loosen, just a little.
The Guild inn sat at the end of a quiet street lined with flowering trees. It was a three-story building of pale stone and dark wood, with wide windows and a small courtyard at the front. A woman in neutral colors met them at the entrance, examined the crystal token, and immediately straightened.
. "Welcome. The presidential suites are on the third floor. Follow me."
The interior was nothing like the cheap inns they had gotten used to. The Polished floors, the beautiful lighting, the Actual artwork on the walls. The woman led them up a wide staircase and stopped in front of a pair of double doors at the end of the hall. She unlocked them with a different crystal and stepped aside.
"Please enjoy your stay. If you need anything, ring the bell by the bed. Meals can be sent up. The bathroom has hot water at all hours."
Kai walked inside first.
The suite was enormous.
A large sitting area with low couches and a low table. Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the green canopy of the city. A separate bedroom with a bed that looked big enough for four people, Thick curtains, a Soft furred rug covered the whole floor. A bathroom visible through an open door, complete with a wide stone bath and polished fixtures. Everything about it felt deliberate, expensive, and luxurious.
Kai turned in a slow circle.
"This is..."
"Not a suspicious inn," Elias finished.
"Not even close."
The attendant smiled.
"I’ll leave you to settle in. Welcome to Veyrhold."
She closed the doors behind her. The soft click of the lock seemed louder than it should have been.
For a moment neither of them moved. Kai walked over to the windows and looked out at the trees, the distant towers, the green banners catching the evening light. Elias set their bags down near the bed and shrugged out of his coat.
Kai turned away from the window.
Elias was watching him.
The look in his eyes was awfully familiar The kind of look that usually meant the conversation portion of the evening was about to end.
Kai’s pulse jumped.
"You’re staring" he said.
Elias crossed the room without hurry. When he reached Kai he didn’t immediately touch him. He just stood close enough that Kai could feel the heat of his body, close enough that the air between them felt charged.
"We’ve been on the road for days," Elias said quietly. "Sharing a carriage. Sharing inns that smelled like wet boots and old ale. Sharing beds that were too small and too hard."
Kai swallowed.
"And?"
"And now we have a bed that could fit four people, walls that won’t let anyone hear a damn thing, and a bathroom with actual hot water."
Elias’s hand finally lifted, fingers brushing along the side of Kai’s neck, then sliding into his hair. The white strands caught between his fingers as he tugged just enough to tip Kai’s head back.
"I intend to use all of it."
Kai’s breath left him in a short, unsteady rush. He had known this was coming the moment the attendant closed the door. He had felt it building through the entire walk from the Guild, through the quiet of the suite, through the way Elias’s eyes had followed him. Still, the directness of it hit him hard.
Elias kissed him.
It wasn’t gentle. It never was with them. Elias kissed like he was reclaiming something, like the days of travel and tension and near-death situations had been holding him back and he was done waiting. Kai made a soft sound against his mouth and grabbed the front of Elias’s shirt, pulling him closer. The kiss deepened. Teeth, Tongue and Heat. Elias’s other hand slid down Kai’s back and gripped his ass hard enough to make him gasp.
They stumbled toward the bed without breaking apart. Elias’s coat hit the floor. Kai’s shirt followed. Elias pushed him down onto the mattress and climbed over him, straddling his hips, looking down at him with that dark, hungry expression that always made Kai’s stomach tighten.
"Look at you," Elias murmured. "Hard for me"
Kai glared up at him, but there was no real heat in it.
"Shut up."
Elias laughed under his breath and leaned down, mouth dragging along Kai’s throat. He bit down just hard enough to leave a mark, then soothed it with his tongue. Kai’s hips jerked. Elias’s hand slid between them, palm pressing against the obvious bulge in Kai’s trousers.
"Missed this," Elias said against his skin. "Missed how easy it is to get you like this."
"You’re insufferable."
"And you’re wet for me already."
Kai’s face burned. Elias didn’t give him time to argue. He opened Kai’s trousers with efficient hands and pulled them down along with his underclothes, freeing his cock. Elias wrapped his fingers around it and stroked once, slow and firm, watching Kai’s face the entire time.
Kai’s head tipped back against the pillows.
Elias didn’t rush. He stroked him until Kai was fully hard and leaking, until the soft, frustrated sounds started slipping out of him. Then he shifted lower, pushed Kai’s thighs apart, and settled between them. Kai barely had time to process the change in position before Elias’s mouth was on him.
The first wet heat of it dragged a broken sound out of Kai’s throat. Elias took him deep, no hesitation, tongue working along the underside as he sucked. One of his hands held Kai’s hip down against the mattress. The other slid lower, fingers pressing behind his balls, then further, circling the tight ring of muscle there.
Kai’s fingers twisted in the sheets.
Elias pulled off just long enough to spit into his hand, then pressed a slick finger inside him while taking his cock back into his mouth. The dual sensation made Kai’s thighs shake. Elias worked him open with the same focused intensity he brought to everything else, adding a second finger when Kai’s body eased around the first, curling them just right until Kai’s back arched off the bed.
"Elias—"
"stay still"
Elias pulled his fingers free, shoved his own trousers down just far enough, and lined himself up. The thick head of his cock pressed against Kai’s entrance. He didn’t ask. He never did. He pushed in with one steady, relentless thrust that forced a choked gasp out of Kai’s lungs.
The stretch burned. It always did at first. Elias was thick, and he didn’t particularly care about giving Kai time to adjust. He bottomed out and stayed there for a moment, breathing hard against Kai’s neck, hips flush against him.
"Fuck," Elias muttered. "Still so tight."
Kai’s hands gripped his shoulders hard enough to leave marks.
Elias started moving.
Deep. Hard and unapologetic. The bedframe creaked under the force of it. Kai’s legs wrapped around his waist, heels digging into his back as every thrust drove the air out of him. Elias fucked him like he’d been thinking about it the entire carriage ride, like the expensive suite and the soundproof walls and the massive bed were just convenient details for something he’d already decided was going to happen.
Sweat gathered between their bodies. The wet sound of skin on skin filled the room. Kai’s cock rubbed against Elias’s stomach with every thrust, trapped between them, leaking steadily. Elias reached down and wrapped a hand around it, stroking in time with his hips.
"Come on," he said against Kai’s ear, voice rough. "Let me see it."
Kai came with a broken sound, spilling over Elias’s fist and his own stomach. His body clenched hard around the cock still buried inside him. Elias cursed and fucked him through it, thrusts turning shorter and deeper until he slammed in one final time and came with a low, guttural sound, heat flooding deep inside Kai.
For several long seconds the only sound in the room was their breathing.
Elias didn’t pull out immediately. He stayed braced over Kai, forehead resting against his, both of them slick with sweat. Eventually he shifted just enough to look at him.
Kai’s white hair was a mess against the pillows. His face was flushed. His lips were swollen. There was a faint red mark on his throat where Elias had bitten him.
Elias’s mouth curved.
"I like the hair better this way."
Kai managed a weak glare.
"You’re still inside me."
"I know."
Elias’s smile widened. Kai smacked his face playfully with a smirk.
Elias finally pulled out, slow enough that Kai felt every inch of it, and collapsed onto the bed beside him. The suite was now dead silent.
For the first time in what felt like enternity ...neither of them was running from anything.
They were just two people in an expensive bed in a city full of trees, sweaty and satisfied and temporarily free of the weight of Ravenport.
Kai turned his head on the pillow and looked at Elias.
"Next time," he muttered, "I’m on top."
Elias laughed, low and warm, and pulled him closer.
"You know i don’t do that"
