The next morning was ridiculous in every sense.

Kai woke up first, blinking against the soft light filtering through the wide windows of the presidential suite. For a few gloriou seconds he simply lay there, body pleasantly sore in places that reminded him exactly how the previous night had gone,he had been turned every which way and it ached, practically all over. Then he turned his head and froze.

Somehow, during the night, he had ended up on the far edge of the large bed. In the middle of the mattress, Elias and Lucien were tangled together in a full-body embrace, completely naked, morning wood pressed firmly against each other in an unmistakable frot. Their strong arms were locked around one another’s backs, faces only inches apart, breathing in sync like they had gravitated toward the nearest source of heat and muscle without realizing who it belonged to.

Kai stared.

Then he started laughing under his breath, if he had a phone he would have taken several pictures of this occurence.

They actually thought they were still cuddling me, he concluded. Looking at them, All those perfect muscles and serious expressions, and they ended up dry-humping each other in their sleep and for people who claim to be strictly top the night before too. What an ironical sight.

He propped himself up on one elbow, still grinning.

"Hey! Wake up, losers!"

Both men stirred at the same time. There was a brief, disoriented moment of movement, bodies shifting continuously as they tried to find Thier footing even though they were unmistakably feeling each other in the movements, then their eyes opened.

They found themselves staring directly into each other’s faces, chests pressed together, hard dicks trapped between them, touching surface to surface.

The reaction was instant.

They shoved apart so violently that Elias nearly rolled off the bed and Lucien scrambled backward until his back hit the headboard. Both of them looked equal parts horrified and furious.

Lucien was the first to speak, voice tight with disbelief.

"What the fuck is this?"

Elias gave the most aggressive eye roll of his life "you tell me, pervert"

Lucien smirked "that’s rich coming from you"

"That still doesn’t explain the fact that i have been sexually harassed by a proposed saint and good guy" he gave Kai a knowing glance..

Kai chuckled under the tension spreading around.

"You are both full of shit" he said still on the bed, Elias and Lucien however, were not having it.

"I know you liked me cumming on your face, but I didn’t know you’d go as far as touching me."

Elias’s expression twisted.

"What? You’re the one that wants my dick. I don’t do that, and Kai knows it."

They both turned to look at him.

Kai raised both hands in surrender, still sitting on the edge of the mattress.

"Well, don’t look at me. I don’t know what you two are talking about."

They frowned at each other.

Lucien’s mouth curved into something sharp.

"So what’s the problem then? Want to suck my dick?"

Elias’s face darkened immediately.

"I told you, you fucking halfie, that I don’t do shit like that. Strictly dominant only. A man like me can’t get on all fours."

He glanced at Kai.

"No offence."

Kai shrugged.

"None taken."

It was inevitable they would address it eventually.

Lucien, however, had gone completely silent. He sat very still, eyes lowered, as though recalculating something important. Then he looked up, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop.

"Halfie."

Elias looked triumphant.

"Ha! The half-elf can’t handle the truth, I see?"

Lucien’s voice was quiet, but there was a creeping madness underneath it that made the hair on the back of Kai’s neck stand up.

"What did you just call me?"

Kai felt the shift immediately. The playful morning tension evaporated, replaced by something far heavier. The System chimed in his mind, calm but clear.

[Warning. Candidate 002 emotional state is deteriorating rapidly. Hostility markers rising.]

Kai’s stomach tightened. He already knew it was about to escalate, but the System continued before he could intervene.

[Clarification for Host. In the world of Eternal Genesis, the term "halfie" is considered a severe racial slur, comparable in weight and historical trauma to the most prohibited ethnic insults from Host’s original world.]

[Origin: Approximately three hundred years ago, during the Great Purge of the Mixed Bloodlines, a coalition of pure-blood elven houses and human supremacist factions launched a coordinated campaign against mixed-heritage populations. Half-elves in particular were targeted. Entire settlements were razed. Children of mixed blood were branded, separated from families, or executed under the doctrine that "incomplete blood weakens the world." The slur "halfie" was popularized during this period as a way to strip mixed individuals of full personhood. Survivors and their descendants still carry the generational trauma. Using the word today is widely understood as an intentional invocation of that history.]

Kai’s blood ran cold. He looked at Elias. The assassin’s expression had gone flat and serious. He knew exactly what he had said. He had chosen the word on purpose.

Lucien’s voice came again, quieter and far more dangerous.

"What did you just call me?"

Elias laughed once, loud and sharp, then the amusement vanished completely.

"You’re a fucking halfie. Half-elf."

Ominous green-tinged mana began leaking from Lucien’s body in visible waves. The air around him grew heavy, charged, almost oppressive. Leaves that had been sitting in a decorative vase near the window trembled.

The System spoke again, more urgently this time.

[Candidate 002 is displaying extreme mana fluctuation. Output is climbing far beyond previously observed levels. Current readings suggest Candidate 002 possesses vast latent reserves consistent with high SSS-rank classification. Host is advised that continued escalation may result in structural damage to the surrounding area.]

At the same time, Elias’s own presence shifted. A dense, sharp pressure rolled off him, cold and lethal. Kai had felt Elias’s killing intent before, but this was different. Cleaner. Heavier. The kind of presence that made the back of the neck prickle with instinctive warning.

They were both still completely naked.

The sheer absurdity of two SSS-rank powerhouses leaking catastrophic amounts of mana while standing bare-ass in a luxury suite finally broke through Kai’s rising panic. He laughed. Loudly. The sound cut across the room and made both men twitch.

"You both look ridiculous doing all this while naked," Kai said, still laughing. "Is that a choice?"

Neither of them laughed.

They simply turned away and began pulling on their clothes in sharp, efficient movements. Kai dressed as well, the temporary humor fading as he watched the set of their shoulders. The System confirmed what he already felt.

[Anger levels have only partially decreased. Residual killing intent from Candidate 002 remains active. Probability of physical confrontation: extremely high.]

Kai’s pulse kicked up.

What do I do? They’re actually going to fight.

[Analysis complete. A confrontation between Candidate 002 and Candidate 004 at current emotional intensity carries significant risk of collateral damage. Estimated destructive potential is sufficient to level multiple city blocks. Recommendation: relocate the conflict to an unpopulated area before hostilities fully commence.]

Lucien finished fastening his coat and looked at Elias with cold, open hatred.

"You know I’m going to kill you, right?"

Elias’s smile was all teeth.

"Bring it on, flower boy."

They stared at each other, the air between them practically vibrating. Kai could feel the moment the last thread of restraint was about to snap.

"Wait!"

Both men turned their heads toward him. Their expressions were identical in their emptiness. Nothing he said was going to change their minds. Kai already knew that. He still had to try.

He sighed.

"If you’re really going to fight, at least do it in the forest. We don’t want to be paying damages, now do we?"

Neither of them answered.

They simply looked at each other one more time.

Then they were gone.

One moment they were standing in the middle of the suite. The next, the air where they had been standing rippled, and both men had vanished so quickly that Kai’s eyes couldn’t track the movement.

He stood alone in the suddenly quiet room, heart hammering.

"Huh? Where did they go? How did they do that?"

[Neither Candidate employed a formal teleportation skill. Current analysis indicates both simply accelerated beyond ordinary visual tracking speed and exited through the balcony. Estimated velocity is consistent with high-tier physical augmentation.]

Before Kai could process that, a deep, rolling BOOM shook the entire suite. The windows rattled. Somewhere in the distance, birds erupted from the treeline in a panicked cloud.

Kai ran to the window and stared out toward the dense green forest that bordered the eastern edge of Veyrhold.

A second, sharper impact echoed through the air, followed by a visible shockwave that rippled the canopy.

"Don’t tell me it’s them."

The System’s voice was almost dry.

[Probability: 98.7%.]

Kai stared at the distant forest, already reaching for his coat.

The peaceful morning was over.

And somewhere out there, two SSS-rank monsters had finally stopped holding back.
