John once again stuck his head out and pulled it back as he saw Eler Cahro’s mouth begin to say, "Darkness Bolt"

As soon as the darkness bolt hit the tree, John once again stuck his head around the tree and saw that Eler Cahro was indeed looking in Mel’s direction, and so raised his hand and said, “Arcane Missiles.”

The arcane missile shot across the distance between John and Eler Cahro before striking him in the back, causing him to stumble and look back at John while cursing. "Gah, damn human scum."

Mel happened to be looking around her tree and saw John’s actions, causing her eyes to brighten before she quickly pulled her head back as Eler Cahro raised his hand at her and shouted, “DARKNESS BOLT.”

John watched the darkness bolt hit the tree and wanted to take the opportunity to attack, but his arcane missiles was still on cooldown, and Eler Cahro was already turning towards him. As he did, Mel’s head appeared from behind her tree again before she aimed her own hand at Eler Cahro and fired off an arcane missile.

The missile struck Eler Cahro in the back and once again made him stumble as he turned to glare at Mel before turning back to John while shouting, “DARKNESS BOLT!”

Over the next few minutes, John and Mel took advantage of the fact that Eler Cahro wasn’t willing to leave the magic circle and kept alternating their attacks on him, causing him to get angrier and angrier. "COME OUT, BASTARDS, SO I CAN KILL YOU AND DRINK YOUR BLOOD."

{Yeah, like that's going to happen.} John thought as he aimed around the tree and shot another arcane missile, while Eler Cahro’s focus was on Mel.

"DAMN HUMAN SCUM, HOW DARE YOU DAMAGE ME SO MUCH WITHOUT EVEN SHOWING YOURSELVES," Crazy Eler Cahro screamed before his whole body started to swirl with dark power.

{What the fuck is that?”} John thought as he and Mel continued to alternate attacks for a few seconds until he heard Mel shout. “JOHN, FIND COVER, FAST!”

John did as instructed and lay on the ground while hiding behind his tree just as Crazy Eler Cahro screamed, "DARKNESS EXPLOSION"

A sphere of dark energy expanded from Eler Cahro, shooting in all directions, causing any small twigs or leaves it touched to vanish without a trace. As it approached the tree John was hidden behind, it started to fizzle out and just happened to pass beyond the tree before disappearing. Unfortunately, while John had hidden himself behind the tree, one of his hands was not completely covered by it and so got hit by the dark energy sphere.

{HOLY SHIT! That was only fifty per cent damage?} John thought as he began to sweat a little.

"AH HA, GOT YOU, YOU BASTARD!" Crazy Eler Cahro shouted gleefully as he looked over in John's direction, causing Mel to shoot him a look of concern.

John quickly chugged down another health potion while he thought, {God, how much health does this bastard have?}

"DARKNESS BLAST!" Crazy Eler Cahro yelled again, causing John’s tree to shake again while Mel took the opportunity to fire off an arcane missile, which this time caused Eler Cahro to cough up some blood.

"Damn... bastards," Crazy Eler Cahro cursed between deep breaths as blood dripped from the corner of his mouth and his whole body started to swirl with dark power again.

John and Mel took the opportunity to bombard him with arcane missiles whenever it was off cooldown, and just as Mel was about to tell him to find cover again, shit hit the fan.

"AHHHH FUCKING BASTARDs I WILL KILL YOU!"

Just as the notification appeared, Crazy Eler Cahro yelled, “DARKNESS EXPLOSION!” causing the sphere of dark energy to once again expand out in all directions. As it did, John ducked for cover just as he heard Mel shout, “RUN!”

John glanced over at her in confusion to see her running further into the forest; however, before he could wonder why she was doing that, the sphere of dark energy struck the tree he was hiding behind and blew it to shreds.

Wood chips and debris flew everywhere and struck John on the back while the darkness sphere luckily passed over him and just missed him.

{WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?} John thought as he bawled himself up to protect against any more of the trees' remnants that might come flying at him.

“NO PLACE TO HIDE NOW FUCKING BASTARD!” Crazy Eler Cahro yelled before firing off “DARKNESS BOLT.”

John barely had time to get into a kneeling position as the attack smacked him in the back and sent him tumbling forward, further into the forest.

“FUCK!” John cursed loudly as he scrambled for the nearest tree and dove behind it just as Crazy Eler Cahro once again shouted, “DARKNESS BOLT!” Which slammed into his tree and blasted a large chunk out of it.

John quickly downed a potion just as an arcane missile shot out from the forest where Mel had run into.

“WHY CAN’T YOU HUMAN WORMS JUST DIE? DARKNESS BOLT!” Crazy Eler Cahro screamed as he shot a darkness bolt towards Mel, who ducked behind a tree to avoid the attack.

“I’VE HAD ENOUGH OF THE TWO OF YOU. I DON’T CARE IF YOU'RE REDUCED TO NOTHING, TO HELL WITH YOUR SHITTY HUMAN BLOOD!” Crazy Eler Cahro screamed hysterically as his whole body started to swirl with dark power for a third time.

{Fuck! His normal cast time is five seconds for a darkness explosion, so in rage mode it’s only two and a half. I need to end this now.} John thought as he quickly stood up and dashed towards Eler Cahro while pulling out his great sword and firing off an arcane missile.

Mel’s eyes widened in shock as she saw John charging towards Eler Cahro before she started firing off arcane bolts of her own.

While charging his darkness explosion, Eler Cahro was unable to move, and so John went with the most obvious choice of stabbing his great sword directly into Eler Cahro’s heart.

“NOW YOU D…” Eler Cahro began, only to be cut off as the great sword pierced his heart and came out the back of his body.

"Noooooo bastard human scum, I will have my revenge." Crazy Eler Cahro groaned after John's blade pierced his heart, causing him to first cough up blood, which quickly turned into a strange black substance that caused the ground to sizzle as it made contact with it.

“Fuck!” John cursed as he jumped back upon seeing what the black substance did to the forest floor.

“You crazy bastard! Why the hell did you rush in like that?” Mel cursed as she quickly arrived next to him and hit him before seeing the black substance, which made her recoil and say. “Eww nasty.”

Eler Cahro continued to cough up the black substance for a few seconds before he stopped and weakly looked up at the pair with gratitude, and as his eyes began to fade, he weakly managed to say, “Thank you, my friends." before he died.

As he did so, something black and gaseous emerged from his body before flying towards John while the pair of them heard a wailing noise. However, just as the gaseous substance was about to impact him, the circular object with the image of the Anubis head that John had looted from Albert's corpse emerged from his body and blocked the gaseous substance.

“WHAT? NO! HOW CAN A HUMAN POSSIBLY HOLD A BADGE OF A SHEOLARBITER?” The gaseous substance seemed to squeal before it suddenly began to be sucked towards the circular object.

“NO, NO PLEASE, I’M SORRY, FORGIVE ME PLEASE, I WAS ONLY FOLLOWING ORDERS.” The gaseous substance begged before it was suddenly sucked inside the circular object.

“Err, what was that?” Mel asked before pointing at the circular object and adding. “Is that the Anubis thing you were talking about before?”

Before John could answer, however, the circular object flew to the centre of the magic circle and activated it, causing the pair to vanish from the forest.

As the pair vanished, a world announcement went off for every player in Genesis.
