“Two?” John asked in surprise, to which Lord Ursa nodded and said. “Correct. Now, while I can’t directly help you in your search for Elrinira, I can provide you with a little assistance.”

As he finished speaking, a speck of starlight that made up Lord Ursa shot towards John’s forehead before entering it.

“Seriously?” Mel asked in surprise.

“However, this spell naturally isn’t much use right now because you are yet to visit other towns or cities. Because of that, I also give you these,” Lord Ursa stated before four more starlights shot into John’s forehead.

“This is already so much, thank you,” John replied while giving a small bow. “At least now I have a way to reach the other continents.”

“You what!” Mel asked in shock.

“Lord Ursa gave my transportation spell the ability to transport me to the capitals of the Elves, Draconians, Dwarves and Orcs,” John explained.

Mel’s mouth fell open as she said, “That’s nuts. Normally such spells require you to have visited those locations at least once before you can teleport back there.”

“I did not give you the human capital since you will get there yourself after leaving this forest,” Lord Ursa explained before adding. “Also, because of the magic that surrounds this forest, your spell will only allow you to travel to places within the forest and not outside its borders.”

“Meaning I have to use the village teleportation circle to leave the forest still,” John said in understanding.

“Makes sense,” Mel remarked. “Teleportation circles offer a more powerful form of teleportation because they were prearranged beforehand.”

“I’m impressed you know so much, young lady; it seems you did your research,” Lord Ursa stated in an impressed tone.

“Well, seeing as I was going to be playing a sorcerer originally, which is a magic caster, I figured it would be a good idea to study magic circles, even if they only use them for certain spells,” Mel said proudly.

“Very commendable; that knowledge will be useful to you as a druid also,” Lord Ursa replied before turning back to John and saying, “And now for your other reward.”

“Err, didn’t you give me two things already?” John asked.

Lord Ursa chuckled and glanced at Mel while saying, “I see what you mean about him not being able to accept something without arguing about it.” Mel chuckled in response before saying, “He’s a real handful.”

“Sorry, my apologies, Lord Ursa; it’s just your blessing, it’s so… overpowered.” John replied, causing Lord Ursa to stand a little taller as he proudly stated, “Well, I am a god, you know.”

“What exactly did he give you?” Mel asked as her curiosity piqued.

John just smirked in response and sent her the information while waiting for the inevitable reaction that came after a few seconds, as Mel cursed, ”You’ve gotta be shitting me.”

“Really now, how can such a lovely young lady use such foul language before a god?” John asked in a teasing tone, causing Mel to glare at him.

Lord Ursa chuckled at their banter before saying, “Well, I believe that concludes everything, and it is time we departed, young lady. I wish you luck in your quest to find Elrinira, young man and in all your future endeavours.”

“Thank you, Lord Ursa,” John said while giving a polite bow.

Lord Ursa nodded before turning to Mel and saying, “Then let us be off, young lady.” Its starlight body began to shine brighter and brighter.

“Sure,” Mel nodded before turning to John and saying. “I’ll catch you later; try not to fall behind since I’m getting my class before you.”

John was about to reply, but before he could, the pair vanished, leaving him standing alone in the clearing. {So much for my witty remark. Well, I guess I should head back to the village.} John thought before he turned in the direction of the village.

However, he had only gone a few steps when he stopped. {Why am I walking? I can just use the astral recall spell.} John thought before saying, “Astral Recall.”

{Oh, so you have to announce the spell within the ten-second cast time; that’s unexpected.} John thought before saying, “Dawn Village.”

“I believe so,” Mel nodded before adding. “Though I was telling the truth when I said I didn’t think it was possible.”

“It’s rare for one of your constitution, but not impossible,” Lord Ursa replied. “Though I advise that you inform your friend of the reason before he learns it himself.”

Mel sighed before saying, “I’ve kept the secret for so long; I’m not even sure how to go about telling him.”

“Well, in the end the choice is yours, but I made this suggestion because he will learn it himself if he ever learns a more powerful version of his inspect skill.”

“Does that mean anyone with a powerful enough version could discover my secret?” Mel asked in alarm.

“That is correct.” Lord Ursa nodded, causing Mel to ask in an almost pleading tone, “Is there any way to prevent that?”

Lord Ursa glanced at her for a few moments before saying, “There is, and I can give you a quest to achieve such a feat after you become a druid. Though I would warn you that it is impossible to block the eyes of the gods.”

“That’s fine; I don’t need it to block the eyes of gods, just some unsavoury people I would rather not interact with.”

John reappeared at the entrance to Dawn Village just in time to see the two brothers trying to swindle another new player. His sudden appearance, however, caught them all off guard, allowing the player the chance to slip into the village while the brothers were distracted.

“What the fuck, kid? David cursed. “Don’t just go popping out of mid-air like that; you almost gave us a heart attack.”

Daniel nodded in agreement before asking, “Where the fuck did you learn a teleportation spell anyway?”

“Secret,” John replied before walking past the pair and causing them to curse him again as he thought, {I could go hand my quests in now, but the fight and then dealing with those gods was kind of draining, so perhaps I should get some food first.}

He was just about to log out when he heard the now familiar sound of a world announcement.
