[Do you wish to change class to Sheolarbiter?]
[Yes] [No]
John looked at the notification before calmly saying, “No.” Causing the seven gods and Ninth Wonder of the World to stare at him in shock.
“YOU DARE!” Hades roared angrily as power suddenly erupted from his body and pierced the cloudy sky above them all.
“Ohh, the kid has spunk,” Lucifer stated, though even he failed to hide his look of surprise.
King Yama, Hel, Osiris and Ereshkigal all frowned at John while Elrinira asked in a tone that was laced with a multitude of different emotions, “May I ask why?”
“There are multiple different reasons,” John replied, “but the main one is that I simply don’t wish to serve anyone; I’ve spent a large part of my life serving others for very little in return, and so I have no desire to serve any of you.”
“IMPUDENT!” Hades roared before raising his hand towards John as if to strike him down.
Elrinira opened her mouth to interject, but before she could, the sound of beautiful laughter that John had heard once before stretched across the underworld as starlight fell from above the clouds and began to congregate next to him.
“Not again,” Osiris groaned. “Is that damn bear back again?”
“Does that sound like the laughter of Ursa Minor?” Ereshkigal shot back before everyone watched as the starlight took the form of the Goddess Astraea, wearing the same dress she had back when John had seen her at the inn.
“Astraea!” Hades said in surprise while the other gods all gave looks of surprise, especially Elrinira, since she knew that Astraea and Vincarna had some history.
“Welcome, Astraea or do you still prefer to go by Virgo these days?” Lucifer asked with curiosity.
“Either is fine by me,” Astraea replied while smiling up at the seven kings of the underworld. “I have once again taken a liking to the name Astraea and began to use it once more.”
“Is that right?” Elrinira asked while raising an eyebrow as Ninth Wonder of the World studied Astraea intently.
“Indeed,” Astraea replied while giving Ninth Wonder of the World a small smile, after which she turned to John and said. “It’s a pleasure to see you again, Vincarna.”
“And you, Goddess Astraea, though I did not expect to see you again, let alone so soon,” John replied while offering a small bow before adding. “I thank you for the assistance you gave me back then.”
Astraea smiled before saying, “I was only too glad to help, plus it seems like it worked out since you found Elrinira and returned her to the underworld.”
“Why are you here, Astraea?” Hades asked. “You no longer have any say in the Greek pantheon since you gave up that position and joined the pantheon of constellations.”
“Because your idiot younger brothers and other male gods all kept trying to claim my virginity,” Astraea replied. “Though on that note, I must give you credit, Hades. You are at least loyal to your wife, Persephone, unlike your brothers.”
“Only because he enjoys their playtime too much,” Lucifer teased, while Hel smirked and added. “Persephone probably has him under her heel.”
Hades glared at the pair of gods while Astraea chuckled in amusement before King Yamma asked, “What is your business for coming here, Astraea? As we told Ursa Minor, this is our domain, and the young human becoming a Sheolarbiter is outside his domain of influence.”

“True, but young Vincarna here rejected your offer to become a Sheolarbiter,” Astraea replied. “I came here in my role as one of the gods of justice and a member of the constellation pantheon to offer a compromise.”
“What sort of compromise?” Osiris asked, to which Astraea smiled and said. “I suggest we make Vincarna a Warden.”

“Fuck that damn old man. What right does he have to decide who I date?” An attractive teenage woman dressed in fashionable clothing from famous brands complained as she climbed into her limited-edition car before speeding down the long driveway of an expensive-looking mansion.
“My stupid brother might not realise it since he likes to stick his cock in anything that has a heartbeat, but I can see it plain as day. He only sees us as mere pawns for him to order around as he pleases, and right now he wants me to go to fucking Dawnscape City to seduce this John Michaels trash.
What interest would I have in some trash that lost us Stone Mist Castle and is stealing two percent of my inheritance? Fuck! I need something to take my mind off this crap.”
As she finished cursing, the woman pressed a button on the car's steering wheel before saying, “Call Steph.”
“Calling Steph,” the car's automated voice replied before a dial tone was heard, which was quickly answered to the sound of hammering.
“Jess!” A friendly voice said after answering the call, while loud music could be heard being turned down. “Why are you suddenly calling?”
“I’m calling because I need a good time tonight; my dad just gave me another one of ‘those’ jobs,” Jess replied.
“Seriously?” Steph asked in disgust. “What the fuck is up with your old man, girl, making you do shit like that? It’s almost as if he’s making you sell your body.”
“He basically is making me sell my body, only it’s not for credits but for information that helps him,” Jess shot back
“No wonder you need a good time,” Steph replied before suggesting. “We should hit up a dungeon in Genesis before I call Carlos and Antonio and have them take us out tomorrow.”
“Sounds great,” Jess replied.

“So about the dungeon, how are we looking in terms of party?” A green-skinned female orc with long, black, wavy hair and green eyes asked as she fiddled with her access band, reading the latest news about Genesis.
“What party?” A slightly gruff voice scoffed as the sound of metal being hit was heard in the background. “You know the two of us are more than enough to take down any dungeon, Shelur.”
Shelur rolled her eyes and sighed at her friend's response before saying, “Erindroulydd, it’s a dungeon; there's a reason it has a party limit of five. The two of us wont cut it.”
“But the twenty-four-hour countdown has already started, and we only have a little under twelve hours left,” Erindroulydd complained, causing Shelur to roll her eyes again and ask, “And whose fault is that? You should have known better than to leave the safe zone after stumbling across the dungeon.”
“Ok, ok, I already apologised for that, remember? Now what do we need?” Erindroulydd asked.
“You're a shaman, so you're pretty versatile when it comes to filling roles, but you can’t main tank. I, on the other hand, am a warlock, which is pure DPS, so we're going to need at least a main tank, maybe another damage dealer if possible and preferably an actual healing class.”
“You know, the more people we tell, the more likely the information about the dungeon will leak. Why can’t you just have your summons tank like we normally do when we party up?” Erindroulydd asked.
“I know you want to keep the dungeon a secret so we can claim the first loot, but stop being greedy and think about this sensibly,” Shelur scolded. “I can only summon imps right now; that's fine for mobs only a few levels higher than us, but they wouldn’t stand a chance against the dungeon's bosses; that's why we need a tank.
You can heal as a shaman, but you get tunnel vision to easily and focus on throwing out damage, so we need a dedicated healer; a cleric would be best. Finally, another damage dealer would help us round out the group so that we can proceed more smoothly.”
“Fine, fine,” Erindroulydd replied before asking, “Got anyone in mind?”
“Maybe, I’ll need to ask around,” Shelur replied before asking. “What about you?”
“I might know a damage dealer who can help, but I’m stumped on the other two.”
“Well, that’s a start,” Shelur replied. “Try to ask this damage dealer if they want to join up with us before discreetly asking around Gar Lodir. I’ll do the same in Kudzil Drir, and we’ll have to hope we get lucky.”
“Got it,” Erindroulydd replied, and after a few more words, Shelur hung up before quickly logging into Genesis.
