Time in the Valley of Whispering Light flowed like liquid honey—slow, rich, and intoxicatingly sweet.

Two years passed in a blink of absolute domestic and cosmic bliss. In that time, the sanctuary had truly become home. The cabin rang constantly with laughter, the clinking of wine glasses, and the warm, overlapping voices of a family bound by eternity. Every morning began the same way: a tangled, affectionate awakening in the massive master bed, followed by a crowded, playful session in the sunken quartz hot spring where they washed and teased one another with effortless intimacy.

Days were spent across the alpine grid, practicing techniques, refining their divine resonance, and sparring together on the lush green hills. They weren’t just practicing anymore; they moved as a single, terrifyingly synchronized entity.

It was during one such afternoon sparring session that the peaceful rhythm of the valley changed forever.

The sun was high, casting a brilliant golden glow over the training clearing. In the center, Min-jae and Azshara were locked in a breathtaking exchange of combat. Azshara moved like a storm of midnight silk and blood-red fire, her blade flashing with surgical speed as she aimed a swift, sweeping kick at Min-jae’s waist.

Min-jae pivoted smoothly, catching her ankle with a grin. "Your footwork is sharper, Azshara, but you’re leaving your left flank open—"

He never finished the sentence.

From the edge of the clearing, where Liu Xiao and Yoo Ji-a were practicing dual-barrier weaving, a sharp, sudden gasp echoed through the air.

Min-jae released Azshara’s ankle instantly, his instincts flaring.

Liu Xiao stumbled forward, dropping her holographic barriers. Her face had turned pale, and she brought a hand to her forehead, swaying unsteadily on her feet.

"Xiao!" Min-jae shouted, vanishing in a golden blur.

He materialized directly beside her just as her knees buckled. He caught her effortlessly in his arms, pulling her against his chest. Her skin was cool to the touch, and a faint, disoriented shiver ran through her frame.

"What is it? Are you hurt?" Min-jae asked, his golden eyes scanning her body with sudden, intense worry, checking her spiritual core for any sign of backlash from the cultivation grid.

"I... I don’t know," Xiao breathed out, pressing a hand against her stomach as she blinked away a wave of dizziness. "My core feels... different. A sudden surge of chaotic prana, like my spiritual matrix is dividing itself. It’s never happened before."

By now, the rest of the queens had rushed over, surrounding them in a tight, anxious circle. Azshara knelt beside them, her crimson eyes narrowing as she placed a hand gently over Xiao’s wrist to read her pulse and life-force signature.

For a second, the fierce Blood-Empress went entirely still. Her eyes widened in absolute, stunned disbelief. She stared at Xiao, then looked up at Min-jae, her breath catching in her throat.

"Min-jae..." Azshara whispered, her voice trembling slightly with awe. "Her spiritual matrix isn’t unstable. It’s splitting... because there is a second heartbeat forming inside her."

The clearing went silent. The wind through the pine trees seemed to stop.

Yoo Ji-a gasped, covering her mouth with her hands. Lin Miao’s sapphire eyes widened to the size of saucers, her nine tails freezing completely in the air.

"A... A heartbeat?" Min-jae stared at Azshara, the words hanging heavily in the air. "Are you saying...?"

"She’s pregnant," Azshara said, a broad, radiant smile breaking across her face. "Xiao is carrying a child. Your child."

The words detonated across the clearing like a divine revelation.

For a few long seconds, Min-jae stood frozen, holding Liu Xiao in his arms. The True God who had shattered dimensions, fought the Architects, and stared down cosmic annihilators was suddenly rendered completely speechless. A wave of profound, overwhelming emotion crashed over him—a mix of shattering shock and a deep, blinding joy that eclipsed every victory he had ever achieved.

"A child..." Min-jae breathed out, a wide, disbelieving smile spreading across his face. He looked down at Xiao, whose pale face was now flushed with a soft, emotional pink as tears welled in her emerald eyes.

Without another word, Min-jae leaned down and kissed her deeply, pouring all his love, reverence, and overflowing happiness into the embrace.

Around them, the initial shock evaporated into pure, chaotic pandemonium.

"She’s pregnant?!" Lin Miao shrieked, bouncing up and down on her heels with pure excitement before rushing over to gently press her hands against Xiao’s stomach. "We’re going to be aunties! A baby! A tiny little god-child running around the cabin!"

"Unbelievable," Major General Ye-rin laughed, shaking her head as a rare, emotional tear slipped down her cheek. "Out of all of us, Xiao is the first to have husband child."

The congratulations poured in from every direction, with Vance, Chae-won, and the twins crowding around to shower Xiao with happy hugs and gentle touches.

Except for one person. Medusa stood near the back of the group, her arms crossed tightly over her chest, her emerald eyes narrowing as she glared at Xiao with a mixture of intense fondness and seething, theatrical jealousy.

"Wait a minute!" Medusa piped up, her voice dripping with mock outrage as she stomped her foot on the grass. "Hold on! How did she get a head start?!, I did all the extra detention lessons, I practically begged for a reward, and yet the fox and the empress didn’t produce anything—and Xiao just casually wins the race?!"

Liu Xiao let out a weak, melodic laugh, leaning her head against Min-jae’s shoulder. "Someone had to show the serpent how it’s done, Medusa. Practice makes perfect and also i had done with husband before all of you"

"Oh, hush, you overachiever," Medusa pouted, though she couldn’t keep a smile off her face as she walked over to gently poke Xiao’s arm. "Fine. You get the crown for the first round. But I’m calling dibs on being the favorite aunt... and my turn is definitely next!"

While the rest of the queens laughed and argued affectionately over baby names and nursery designs, Min-jae’s overprotective instincts kicked in with full force.

He carefully scooped Xiao up into his arms, bridal-style.

"Hey! Put me down, what are you~," Xiao protested lightly, though she happily wrapped her arms around his neck. "I just had a wave of dizziness. I’m a true God now, not a fragile glass doll. I can walk."

"Shut up and let me carry you," Min-jae said, his tone leaving zero room for argument, though his eyes were shining with undisguised tenderness. "From this exact moment on, your official training is suspended. Your only task is resting, eating whatever you want, and letting your husband spoil you rotten."

"He’s never going to let you touch a sword again, Xiao," Yoo Ji-a teased as they all began walking back toward the cozy cabin together. "You’re about to be locked in the master suite with a mountain of fruit and a very stressed-out god."

"I am fine," Xiao insisted, smiling warmly as Min-jae carried her up the wooden steps of the porch and gently laid her down on the plush living room sofa, immediately piling three soft wool blankets over her legs.

"Rest," Min-jae commanded gently, sitting on the edge of the sofa and brushing a stray lock of hair from her forehead.

The rest of the family crowded into the living room, the atmosphere bubbling with warmth, laughter, and domestic bliss.

Min-jae looked around at his wives—laughing, arguing, and celebrating together—and then back at Xiao, who was smiling up at him with sleepy, contented eyes. He reached out, taking her hand in his.
