The walls came into view again a few hours later, and this time Logan actually slowed down to look at them properly.

The place had changed again since the last time he’d walked through that gate. New scaffolding wrapped around two of the towers. A second layer of wall had gone up along the eastern stretch, thicker than the first. Whatever the nine Production Mythics had been doing while he was gone, none of it looked like sitting idle.

He checked his Tower Points once he was properly inside.

```
[ 42,490 Tower Points ]
```

Twenty thousand of that had come off Vrashkull alone, more than enough to make the climb feel worth something even after everything it had cost.

He thought about pushing the Summoning Circle to Level 5 first, five thousand points for a shot at pulling something Mythic straight out of the gate. He decided against it. A big enough merge cascade would beat a lucky pull easily, and he had a much more specific plan for what he actually wanted out of this batch.

"This time, I want support and defense." He set the circle to combat-type units and started spending. "Healers. Buffers. Things that can actually hold a line instead of just hitting harder."

Three hundred summons went out in one long stretch, thirty thousand Tower Points gone by the time the last one landed.

```
[ Combat Summons: 300 ]
Normal: 90
Uncommon: 105
Rare: 75
Epic: 27
Legendary: 3
```

He opened Boundless Genesis and started pairing everything off by rank the same way he always did, letting the cascade climb on its own, but this time, he kept defensive and supportive units as the main merge line.

```
[ Merge Cascade Complete ]
27x Mythic-rank Units
```

It didn’t take much time, thanks to the Territory Core Healing area and his own Restore.

Twenty-seven names filled the roster panel by the time the light finally settled.

None of them were purely one thing or the other. Even the healers carried at least one or two skills built to hurt something if it came down to it. But the shape of the whole batch leaned hard toward keeping people alive and standing, exactly the way he’d wanted it to.

He’d barely finished looking over the list and had his hand regrown by one of the summons when Stitchgrin’s voice came through again.

"Master, Tronking’s back. Second location this time."

"Alright." Logan looked over everyone gathered in the courtyard, old roster and new both. "Full formation this time. Half stay here, half come with me."

"Solveig, you’re with me this time."

Solveig’s talent split off knights of his own from his light, each one carrying eighty percent of his stats and the full run of his skills.

Logan had figured Solveig was better used defending the base, but with this many Mythic-rank units now, he could afford to keep both Solveig and Billy with him instead.

They found Tronking waiting at Romen’s table again, bouncing on the balls of his feet like he’d been rehearsing what to say the whole way there.

"Got you two this time." He held up a folded scrap of paper, coordinates scrawled across it in handwriting that looked rushed. "Both bases, both confirmed."

Logan took the paper and looked it over once before pocketing it.

"Good work." He glanced at the new roster still settling in behind him, then singled out Cataclysm Warbringer. "Here. Borrow this one. Temporary, but it’s yours until I need it back."

Tronking’s mouth actually fell open. "Wait, seriously?"

"A single Mythic changes everything about how you play this match." Logan shrugged. "Told you I’d make it worth your time."

Tronking looked past him at the rest of the army waiting behind, and gulped.

’What in the god’s name is going on with him? Why does he have so many Mythics?’

They lifted off from the clearing a few minutes later, and this time Logan rode the sky himself instead of being carried.

’Elderwood Phoenix Avatar.’

Fire built itself into wings beneath him, and he settled onto its back the same way he’d seen Marcus ride his own drake once, a lifetime and several fights ago.

Solveig flew at his left, Zephyr and Blitzhawk somewhere overhead running their own patrol pattern. Below them, a wide sheet of cloth carried everyone who couldn’t keep pace in the air, held aloft by three of Solveig’s split knights working in perfect unison.

The first base came into view within the hour, walls and towers laid out below them small enough to look like a toy from this height.

Logan looked it over once, memorizing the gaps in the wall, the placement of whatever defenses they had running.

"Let’s start."

"Support units first. Buff everyone." Logan didn’t wait for the walls to come into view before giving the order.

Wardsong Cantor’s voice rang out clear across the whole formation, a low, steady hum that settled into every fighter’s chest at once.

Battle Hymn!

```
[ Battle Hymn: Attack and Speed increased for all allies within range ]
```

Everspring Matriarch followed a beat later, green light blooming out from her open palms and settling over the whole group like warm rain.

Vital Bloom!

```
[ Vital Bloom: Continuous HP regeneration applied to all allies within range ]
```

Sanctum Aegis Warden planted a staff into the air itself, and a dome of pale light unfolded around the group’s flank.

Bulwark Field!

```
[ Bulwark Field: Defensive barrier erected, absorbs incoming damage ]
```

With buffs stacked and a barrier holding their flank, the five of them hit the wall like it wasn’t even there.

And this wasn’t all the buffs. There were still more buffs Logan could stack, as these Mythic units had seven skills, and only one or two were offensive-oriented. The rest of the active and passive skills were also uniquely support- and defence-based.

But for now, these buffs were enough for this base.

Billy tore through the gate first, blades spinning in every direction at once.

Solveig’s greatsword opened the breach wider behind him, light scattering the first wave of defenders before they’d even finished forming a line.

Zephyr claimed the sky overhead, grounding anything that tried to flee upward. Maw swept the courtyard clean of whatever was left standing, and Vex slipped through the chaos, picking off the rest.

Even the ones built for holding a line found their own openings. Ironveil Sentinel drove a spear through a defender that got too close, and Mercy’s Hand, hands still glowing from healing the group a moment earlier, turned that same light into a blast that put someone straight through a wall.

What had been a base ten minutes earlier came apart in the following minutes into something closer to rubble. Walls collapsed, towers toppled, and the player who owned it all was watching from a corner with nowhere left to run. ’Fuck this shit. Who can even win against this person?’

’SURRENDER!’

```
[ You have defeated Player DumplingBoss. +5,390 Tower Points ]
```

Logan looked over the wreckage, satisfied, and turned toward the second set of coordinates Tronking had given him.

"One down."

Logan looked at the player elimination leaderboard.

One could see the number of players still in the match there because any player eliminated had [ Eliminated ] next to their names.

’It’s the third day of the match already.’

Out of 100 players, only 58 remained.

"Let’s go. We have one more base to destroy before going for the mountains."

Logan’s eyes blazed.

With his current army, he would steamroll every trouble with pure power!
