"We have to find a way to break through this stone door," Adam said.

"Young Master, do you see any mechanisms or patterns on the door?" Cecilia suggested.

Adam nodded and began inspecting the stone door, they discovered complex lines and patterns carved into it, but there seemed to be no discernible rhyme or reason to them.

"These patterns look like an ancient formation," Cecilia said with pleasant surprise, she knew formations were incredibly simple for her Young Master.

"It’s not a formation," Adam shook his head, if it were, he would have recognized it at first glance. The lines on this door were purely decorative.

"Then what do we do? This purple lightning is too powerful!" Cecilia felt disheartened.

"We have to try a different approach." Adam’s eyes flickered as his mind raced through possibilities.

He recalled the ancient texts he had read, legends about Great Emperor ruins and trials were endless, yet very few detailed the process of actually entering a Great Emperor’s palace.

As for a stone door covered in purple lightning, there were no records at all.

Suddenly, a thought struck him, this world’s knowledge might not have the answer, but his previous world certainly did, no matter how powerful the purple lightning, it was ultimately just electrical current, since he could not fight it head-on, he would redirect it, the laws of physics still applied here.

Realization gleamed in Adam’s eyes, he took a deep breath, and spiritual energy began circulating along a specific trajectory, his hands formed rapid seals as he chanted under his breath, executing what appeared to be a deeply mysterious spell.

Cecilia did not understand what he was doing, but she knew her Young Master had a plan, gripping her sword tightly, she kept vigilant watch on their surroundings.

As his technique neared completion, Adam thrust both hands forward, golden light erupted from his palms, transforming into a golden cage that entirely enveloped his body.

Cecilia was bewildered, instead of pushing the door, why had her Young Master locked himself inside a cage?

A Faraday cage.

Adam walked directly into the purple lightning crackling across the stone door.

Boom!

The two forces collided, releasing a deafening explosion, the purple lightning surged frantically, attempting to swallow the golden light.

However, the golden cage effortlessly redirected all the purple electricity, not allowing a single spark to penetrate the enclosure.

"Eh? What is this?" The voice inside the hall was filled with astonishment.

Adam’s figure was faintly visible within the golden cage, appearing completely isolated from the world.

Cecilia stared wide-eyed, unable to comprehend, this golden cage could absorb the purple lightning?

No, it was deflecting the purple lightning entirely, what kind of technique was this?

Her heart was filled with shock and curiosity, while simultaneously aching with worry, with the lightning being this powerful, could her Young Master really withstand it?

Right then, Adam’s voice rang out from within the cage. "Cecilia, push the door, hurry!"

Snapping back to reality, she rushed to the stone door and pushed with all her might.

To her surprise, the heavy door opened with just a light push, the purple lightning vanished into thin air, revealing a glorious yet ancient great hall inside.

She turned back to Adam with pleasant surprise, he stepped out of the golden cage, a trace of exhaustion on his face, but his eyes shone with excitement.

"Young Master, are you alright?" Cecilia asked hurriedly.

"I’m fine, just a minor issue!" Adam smiled, unable to find physical metal nearby, he had used a secret technique to manifest a metallic cage, although formed of golden light, the physical effect was exactly the same.

This technique could manifest whatever he imagined into tangible reality, although vastly inferior to true physical matter, it was incredibly effective for emergencies.

Cecilia breathed a sigh of relief, she knew Adam was capable, but his performance just now had left her astounded, she looked at him, eyes brimming with admiration and reliance.

"Young Master, you are truly amazing!" she praised from the bottom of her heart.

Adam smiled without saying a word, his gaze fixing on the path ahead.

"Senior, the door is open, may we know what the trial is now?" His voice echoed through the great hall with firm confidence.

They had passed the first test, but this was merely the beginning, the true challenge still lay ahead.

The hall remained silent before the voice sounded again. "Not bad, you pushed open the stone door, but this is only the beginning, the subsequent trials will be much harder, are you ready?"

Adam and Cecilia exchanged a glance, seeing unwavering resolve in each other’s eyes, they nodded in unison. "Please enlighten us, Senior!"

As their words fell, a melodious zither melody suddenly echoed through the hall.

The music was hauntingly beautiful, undulating as if it could pierce through a person’s soul, Adam and Cecilia could not help but immerse themselves in it, feeling as though they were being transported to another world.

However, they quickly realized this zither music was far from simple.

As the melody grew intense, their minds began to spin with dizziness and sharp pain, it felt as if an invisible force was attempting to seize control of their consciousness.

They immediately realized this was part of the trial, they had to maintain clarity and resolve, they could not allow the music to bewitch them.

Taking a deep breath, they desperately focused their minds, fighting back against that formless suppression.

Ding!

Suddenly, within Adam’s divine soul, a azure lotus swayed gently, in an instant, his mind became absolute clarity.

"Cecilia, wake up!" Adam’s voice rang directly in her ears, she snapped awake from the bewitchment instantly.

Looking at Adam, her eyes flickered with deep gratitude and reverence, she knew he was the one who had helped her survive this trial.

The zither music gradually faded, and peace returned to the great hall.

The voice rang out again, this time laced with unmistakable shock. "That’s not right, given your cultivation realms, it should be impossible for you to shatter the zither illusion!"

Adam smiled faintly, offering no explanation, the existence of the Primal Chaotic Azure Lotus was one of his absolute greatest trump cards, it was the very foundation of his ability to survive and thrive in this world, he had no intention of casually revealing this secret, as it directly concerned his safety.
