Boom!
Another deafening explosion rang out as the glazed pagoda was struck again, this attack seemed even more powerful than the last, the Evil God’s maw seemed to realize that unless it broke through the pagoda first, it would not be able to affect Adam.
The little boy felt his strength on the verge of collapsing, he knew that if this continued, he could not hold out much longer, once the pagoda shattered, the three of them would have no means left to resist.
"Hurry! I can’t hold on much longer!" The little boy urged.
"Stop rushing me, it’s done! Get over here, quick!" Adam shouted.
The glazed pagoda and Cecilia rushed to Adam’s side, using the very last of his spiritual energy, the little boy transformed into a towering giant pagoda and launched a fierce attack at the giant mouth in the sky, it bought a tiny sliver of time for the three of them to escape into the spatial passage.
"Roar!" The terrifying mouth let out a horrifying bellow, seemingly enraged that they had escaped.
Inside the spatial passage, the anxiety on their faces had not eased.
"Pay attention and listen! I’ve stabilized the passage so it won’t shatter, and it can teleport us out, but the destination is unknown, it’s highly likely we’ll be teleported to different locations, Cecilia, you take the glazed pagoda..."
Before Adam could finish, a powerful suction force appeared within the passage and sucked him away.
"Young Master!" Cecilia reached out her hand and cried out, but it was already too late.
The glazed pagoda hastily transformed into a streak of light and imprinted itself onto Cecilia’s palm, in the very next second, Cecilia also vanished into the passage.
Inside the passage, Adam felt his body pulled by a powerful force, the surrounding space twisted and distorted around him, he could not help but feel nervous, not knowing where he would end up.
Suddenly, his vision brightened, and he found himself standing in an unfamiliar place, it was a valley surrounded by towering peaks that pierced the clouds, the air carried a fresh, crisp aura.
Adam looked around and found no apparent danger, allowing him to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Looks like my luck isn’t too bad, I wasn’t sent to some perilous death trap," he muttered.
He stood and began observing his surroundings, the valley looked quite secluded, and the surrounding peaks seemed to form a natural barrier, isolating this place from the outside world.
Adam’s heart stirred, perhaps this place could serve as a hideout, he still did not know where Cecilia and the glazed pagoda had been sent, he needed somewhere to settle down first, and he needed time to recover his spiritual energy after exhausting so much fixing the passage.
He found a flat spot in the valley, sat down, and closed his eyes to recover.
Not long after entering cultivation, he suddenly felt a strong fluctuation of spiritual energy approaching, he opened his eyes and looked toward the source, not far away, a figure was flying rapidly toward him.
Adam’s heart jumped, his figure flashed as he hid in the nearby tall grass, formation patterns lit up beneath his feet and then faded, completely erasing his aura.
Soon, the figure appeared in his line of sight, it was a middle-aged man wearing a long green robe with a handsome face and a tyrannical aura, as he flew over, he vigilantly observed his surroundings.
He arrived near the spot where Adam was hiding.
"The aura here feels a bit off, has someone been here?" The man muttered to himself.
He began carefully searching the area, after circling around and finding nothing unusual, he finally turned and left.
Adam breathed a sigh of relief and walked out from the grass.
It seemed this place was not safe either, best to leave as soon as possible.
Although curious about the man’s purpose here, Adam did not dare stay long, afraid of encountering more trouble, he had considered asking where exactly he was, but having experienced the Land of Life, he decided not to alert the people of this world.
What if this was another of the Heavenly Court’s cultivation grounds? He would be in massive trouble.
The most urgent task was recovering his spiritual energy and finding a way to leave this world, his figure flickered as he flew deeper into the valley.
What he did not know was that not long after he left, the middle-aged man returned.
"Strange, I clearly sensed someone’s aura here, how did it suddenly disappear?" The man muttered, frowning tightly, seemingly unwilling to accept the result, he lingered for a moment before finally leaving again.
By now, Adam had ventured deep into the valley, he found a hidden spot and resumed cultivation, he needed to recover as quickly as possible so he could set up a formation to return.
Time slowly passed, after cultivating for a period, his strength was fully restored, Adam made preparations and decided to leave, most of the spirit stones on his person had been swept away during the spatial turbulence, he did not have enough to set up a world-crossing teleportation formation, he needed to go out and find some.
On this day, just as Adam was about to leave the valley, he felt another strong fluctuation of spiritual energy, he opened his eyes and saw a woman dressed in white flying toward him, her face fraught with anxiety.
Adam found it very strange, he had already scouted the valley’s surroundings, there were no spiritual herbs, no secret realms, it was just an exceedingly ordinary valley, so why did people keep coming here?
Though filled with doubt, Adam maintained a calm exterior, his figure flashed as he hid in the nearby bushes, using formation patterns to conceal his aura.
The woman in white quickly flew into the valley, she looked around and searched the area, after finding nothing unusual and confirming no one was watching, a jade talisman appeared in her fair palm, and she crushed it directly.
Then she sat down cross-legged and began to wait.
Soon, the middle-aged man who had visited previously rushed over hurriedly.
"Why did you call for me at this time? Didn’t we agree only at night?" The middle-aged man’s face was full of vigilance as he seemed to scold the woman in white.
