Chapter 415: Get Lost, Prince

Get Lost, Prince

"I am the one of the Prince of Drake, James. I took a fancy to this private room first. Can you give me some face and let me use this room?"

The words fell into the private room with a strange weight.

Lord James had spoken with a smile, and there was even a trace of courtesy in his tone. Yet beneath that courtesy was the confidence of someone who had spent his entire life accustomed to others stepping aside for him.

It had always been the royal family’s way to be polite before resorting to force.

The private room itself was quiet.

The warm fragrance of spirit tea lingered in the air, mixing with the faint scent of incense burning somewhere beyond the carved wooden screen. Outside, the auction house was growing increasingly noisy. The distant murmur of cultivators, the occasional clink of cups, and the hurried footsteps of servants traveled through the corridor.

Inside, however, there was only silence.

Leon sat calmly in his chair.

His long, shoulder-length black hair fell loosely over his midnight robes, thin amethyst embroideries catching the light whenever he moved. His purple eyes remained tranquil, almost indifferent, as if the appearance of a royal prince was nothing more significant than an unexpected gust of wind.

He had not expected the person who barged into the room to be the Prince of Drake.

More precisely, the Prince of the Drake Empire.

Leon was stunned when he heard that the other party was the Prince of the Drake Empire. His eyes shifted slightly, landing on Rias.

The young woman sat quietly beside Selena.

Her long red hair flowed over her shoulders, and her large crimson eyes remained partially hidden behind the mask covering her face. Even though her appearance was concealed, there was still a certain elegance in the way she carried herself.

Leon did not need to ask.

Rias understood the meaning behind his gaze.

She gave a small nod.

She admitted his identity.

There was no hesitation in her movement, but Leon noticed the faint change in her eyes. The relationship between her and the man standing before them was not something she wished to acknowledge publicly.

If it were anyone else, they would probably be scared to death.

The title of Prince of the Drake Empire was enough to make most cultivators carefully measure every word that came out of their mouths.

But Leon?

It was not very useful to him.

He had encountered too many so-called great figures during his journey. Some had possessed terrifying cultivation, some had commanded enormous forces, and others had carried backgrounds that could shake entire regions.

Yet none of those things had ever made Leon lower his head simply because someone expected him to.

He slowly leaned back.

The corner of his lips lifted faintly.

Leon said indifferently, "Prince of Drake? Then what I do... Hmm... just get lost..."

The room became completely silent.

Even the servants standing near the doorway seemed to stop breathing.

Rias’s eyes widened slightly.

Selena remained composed, but her blue eyes flickered toward Leon for an instant.

She knew her Teacher’s temperament well enough.

Once Leon said something like that, there was little chance he would take it back.

As soon as these words were spoken, Lord James’s face darkened.

The smile that had been hanging on his lips disappeared.

His expression stiffened for a moment, as though he had genuinely wondered whether he had heard correctly.

Get lost?

Those two words were simple.

But coming from someone who had just been told his identity, they were nothing short of a slap to his dignity.

Lord James’s fingers tightened beneath his sleeves.

He had introduced himself as the Prince of the Drake Empire.

He had expected the other party to at least show some hesitation.

Instead, Leon had not even bothered to pretend to care.

Lord James studied Leon again.

He did not immediately explode.

That would have been foolish.

Leon didn’t give him any face after hearing his background. In this situation, there were only two possibilities.

Either this young man had an extremely powerful background...

Or he was a young master who had just left home and had never been beaten up by society.

Lord James naturally preferred the second possibility.

After all, truly powerful figures rarely behaved like this without reason. A young master who had been protected by his household from childhood, on the other hand, often had exactly this kind of confidence.

He probably had no idea how dangerous the world outside his household really was.

Lord James slowly inhaled.

His expression became gloomy, but his voice remained controlled.

"May I ask where you are from and what your name is? How dare you look down on my Drake Dynasty?"

The last sentence carried a faint edge.

His gaze sharpened.

He wanted to know exactly who Leon was before deciding how hard he should strike.

If Leon came from an ordinary household, then there was no need to show restraint.

If he came from a truly powerful force...

Then Lord James would naturally reconsider.

Leon, however, was already getting impatient.

He had come here for the auction.

He had no interest in wasting time arguing over a private room with someone who had entered without permission.

His fingers rested lightly against the armrest.

Then he slowly stood.

The movement was neither hurried nor aggressive.

Yet the instant Leon rose from his seat, the atmosphere inside the room changed.

There was no visible burst of Mana.

No overwhelming pressure.

No killing intent.

Nothing dramatic.

And somehow that made it worse.

The steward standing near the door felt his heart drop.

At this moment, Cavir Walton hurriedly ran in.

His footsteps came rapidly from the corridor.

The moment he entered the room and saw Leon standing, Cavir Walton’s entire body went cold.

His grey hair was slightly disheveled from rushing over, and sweat had already gathered along his forehead. His black eyes darted from Leon to Lord James.

Oh god...
